| The SCORM lab launch endpoint in Skillable (scorm.skillable.com) through 2026-07-13 does not validate the client-supplied userId parameter against the authenticated SCORM session token. An authenticated user can substitute arbitrary userId values to bypass per-user lab launch rate limits and consume other users' lab allocations, resulting in denial of service against targeted users' lab and exam access. Skillable was formerly named Learn on Demand Systems. |
| A reachable assertion vulnerability exists in the Matter SDK (connectedhomeip) before 1.4.2, specifically within the Level Control cluster's periodic server tick logic. When a MoveToLevel command is sent and immediately followed by a write of OperationMode=2 (in the Pump Configuration and Control cluster), the server tick function violates the assertion `currentLevel < maxLevel`, resulting in a crash. This can be exploited remotely without authentication to cause denial of service. Affected versions include 1.3 and 1.4 (commit ab3d5ae). |
| A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the Matter SDK (connectedhomeip) before 1.4.0, affecting the ReadRevisionAttribute function used in multiple clusters (Channel, Account Login, TargetNavigator, etc.). The function lacks proper validation of the delegate pointer before dereferencing. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit this issue by sending a crafted read request, causing the device to crash (denial of service). This issue has been confirmed in SDK version v1.4 (commit ab3d5ae). |
| A reachable assertion vulnerability exists in the Matter SDK (connectedhomeip) before 1.4.0, in the interaction model command processing logic. When an InvokeCommandRequest is sent to a nonexistent endpoint and cluster (e.g., 0x34), the code incorrectly treats the endpoint as valid due to missing checks in CodegenDataModelProvider::Invoke. This causes a VerifyOrDie failure in ProcessCommandDataIB and results in a crash (SIGABRT). The issue has been acknowledged and fixed in a later revision (PR #37207). |

| In versions up to and including 4.5.29 (4.x branch) and 5.1.4 (5.x branch), the WebClientSession component of Eclipse Vert.x Web Client does not validate that the Domain attribute of a Set-Cookie response header matches the originating server's domain, in violation of RFC 6265 section 5.3.
An attacker who controls any server that the victim application contacts can inject a cookie scoped to an arbitrary third-party domain; because the session store performs no cross-domain ownership check, it stores and later transmits that cookie to the targeted domain.
When the victim application subsequently sends a request to the targeted domain using the same WebClientSession, it presents the attacker-injected cookie, causing the receiving service to process the request under the attacker's account. Sensitive data included in the victim application's requests, such as payment amounts, card details, or other API payloads, may then be accessible to the attacker through their own account on that service. |

| In Zephyr's userspace dynamic-objects subsystem, thread_idx_alloc() in kernel/userspace/userspace.c allocated a new thread permission index from the global _thread_idx_map[] bitmap without holding lists_lock.
On SMP systems, two user-mode threads invoking the k_object_alloc(K_OBJ_THREAD) syscall concurrently can both observe the same low free bit, perform the same non-atomic RMW to clear it, and return the identical tidx.
The two newly created K_OBJ_THREAD objects are then assigned the same thread_id, so the two user threads alias a single bit position in every kernel object's perms[] bitfield: any subsequent grant of access on a kernel object to one thread is implicitly a grant to the other, defeating userspace ACL isolation. A secondary lost-update window between the unlocked &=~BIT() in alloc and the locked |= BIT() in thread_idx_free() can also leak entries from the thread-index pool.
The defect is reachable from any user-mode thread via the unrestricted __syscall k_object_alloc and is gated on CONFIG_USERSPACE, CONFIG_DYNAMIC_OBJECTS, and CONFIG_SMP. The flaw was introduced when the per-thread permission index was added in 2018 and is present in every release up to and including v4.4.0. Fixed by holding lists_lock across the bitmap RMW and the permissions clear (and inlining the obj_list traversal that previously took the lock itself). |
| OpenRemote before 1.26.2 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the console registration API that allows unauthenticated attackers to update existing console assets by supplying a known asset identifier. Attackers can overwrite push notification tokens and console metadata without authentication or ownership validation, redirecting notifications or denying delivery to legitimate consoles. |
