| OpenProject is the leading open source project management software. OpenProject utilizes `tablesorter` inside of the Cost Report feature. This dependency, when misconfigured, can lead to Stored XSS via `{icon}` substitution in table header values. This attack requires the permissions "Edit work packages" as well as "Add attachments". A project admin could attempt to escalate their privileges by sending this XSS to a System Admin. Otherwise, if a full System Admin is required, then this attack is significantly less impactful. By utilizing a ticket's attachment, you can store javascript in the application itself and bypass the application's CSP policy to achieve Stored XSS. This vulnerability has been patched in version(s) 14.1.0, 14.0.2 and 13.4.2.

| Early versions of Operator-SDK provided an insecure method to allow operator containers to run in environments that used a random UID. Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 provided a script, user_setup, which modifies the permissions of the /etc/passwd file to 664 during build time. Developers who used Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 to scaffold their operator may still be impacted by this if the insecure user_setup script is still being used to build new container images.
In affected images, the /etc/passwd file is created during build time with group-writable permissions and a group ownership of root (gid=0). An attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, may be able to leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. |
| A flaw was found in gix-date. The `gix_date::parse::TimeBuf::as_str` function can generate strings containing invalid non-UTF8 characters. This issue violates the internal safety invariants of the `TimeBuf` component, leading to undefined behavior when these malformed strings are subsequently processed. This could potentially result in application instability or other unforeseen consequences. |
| Hyland OnBase contains an unauthenticated .NET Remoting exposure in the OnBase Workflow Timer Service (Hyland.Core.Workflow.NTService.exe) and is also reported by the vendor to impact the Workview Timer Service (an impacted version range is undefined). An attacker who can reach the service can send crafted .NET Remoting requests to default HTTP channel endpoints on TCP/8900 (e.g., TimerServiceAPI.rem and TimerServiceEvents.rem for Workflow) to trigger unsafe object unmarshalling, enabling arbitrary file read/write. By writing attacker-controlled content into web-accessible locations or chaining with other OnBase features, this can lead to remote code execution. The same primitive can be abused by supplying a UNC path to coerce outbound NTLM authentication (SMB coercion) to an attacker-controlled host. |
| Multiple denial of service vulnerabilities exist in React Server Components, affecting the following packages: react-server-dom-parcel, react-server-dom-turbopack, react-server-dom-webpack.
The vulnerabilities are triggered by sending specially crafted HTTP requests to Server Function endpoints, and could lead to server crashes, out-of-memory exceptions or excessive CPU usage; depending on the vulnerable code path being exercised, the application configuration and application code.
Strongly consider upgrading to the latest package versions to reduce risk and prevent availability issues in applications using React Server Components. |
