CVSS v3.1 |
| Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. From 2.0.0 until 2.5.0, internal/backup/restore.go extracts inner archives before applying the restore_nginx and restore_nginx_ui flags and permits symlinks targeting the live Nginx configuration path. An authenticated user who can create and restore backups can craft a valid backup that places a symlink in the staging tree and then writes a regular file through that link, even when both restore flags are false. This can persistently inject configuration or cause denial of service when the modified files are later consumed. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0. |
| SmarterMail before build 9777 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability where JWT access and refresh tokens embed a role claim at issuance that is not revalidated against the account's current role when redeemed through POST /api/v1/auth/refresh-token. Attackers who capture a refresh token issued before an administrator demotion, or a demoted user whose session was not actively polling at the time of demotion, can replay the stale token to obtain a new access token retaining the higher-privilege role (such as DomainAdmin or SysAdmin) until natural token expiry. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv4: icmp: reject RTN_UNREACHABLE input routes in icmp_route_lookup
When the forward output route cannot be used in icmp_route_lookup(),
it enters the "reverse path" and calls ip_route_input() on fl4_dec.daddr,
the original packet's source address.
ip_route_input() only returns an error for truly invalid packets. For
unreachable addresses it will succeed and return an input route whose
dst.output is set to ip_rt_bug(). The existing check only rejects
RTN_LOCAL routes, so the RTN_UNREACHABLE route types can still be returned
and later used for output, syzkaller triggering a WARN_ON_ONCE()
in ip_rt_bug() as bellow:
------------[ cut here ]------------
WARNING: net/ipv4/route.c:1273 at ip_rt_bug+0x14/0x20

Reject input route that is RTN_UNREACHABLE to fix it. The net warning
is only printed for RTN_LOCAL, as RTN_UNREACHABLE is not the result of
a race condition. |
| Navigating to a certain URL on the switch’s web server causes the switch to reboot. This can be automated using a tool like curl to create DoS conditions where the switch constantly reboots. |

| A reachable assertion in the illumos bhyve instruction emulator allows a guest to panic the host. When emulating a REP-prefixed MOVS or STOS instruction that accesses guest MMIO, vie_emulate_movs() and vie_emulate_stos() in usr/src/uts/intel/io/vmm/vmm_instruction_emul.c do not clear the VIES_REPEAT status flag on the final iteration. For MMIO regions emulated in the kernel (the local APIC, I/O APIC and HPET), the stale flag causes a VERIFY assertion in vie_advance_pc() to fail, and the host panics. A privileged user within a guest VM can issue a REP MOVS or REP STOS instruction against the local APIC page to cause a denial of service of the host and every other guest running on it. The flaw has existed since 2020 (illumos-gate commit e0c0d44e), and affects any illumos distribution prior to illumos-gate commit 696ecf8d. |
| Open5GS through 2.8.0 contains a reachable assertion vulnerability in mme_gn_handle_sgsn_context_request() that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to crash the MME via malformed SGSN Address IEs. Attackers sending GTPv1-C traffic from a configured SGSN address with a known UE IMSI or P-TMSI can supply an invalid address length to terminate open5gs-mmed, denying service to all subscribers. |
| The max_age authentication-freshness check in OidcClientCodeRequestFilter was inoperative due to a milliseconds/seconds unit mismatch and an inverted comparison polarity. Any relying party using setMaxAgeOffset to enforce re-authentication would silently accept sessions of any age, bypassing step-up authentication policies. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. |
| An XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability in the WiFi-server Spectralight application allows any authenticated user to send malicious requests, leading to arbitrary local file disclosure and partial denial of service. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by techdocs arbitrary file read via mkdocs snippets. Unsafe path resolution in TechDocs source tree handling allows an authenticated user who can register documentation sources to include content from outside the intended documentation boundary. Depending on deployment, this may expose files readable by the build process. This issue is fixed in version 1.15.4. |
| Claude Code validated that a target file path resided within the project working directory at permission-check time, but re-resolved the path at write time without repeating that validation. This time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) gap allowed an attacker who could write to the workspace to atomically replace a project file with a symlink, causing Claude Code to follow the symlink and write its output to an arbitrary file outside the project sandbox. Exploitation required the ability to win a race condition against the write operation and write access to the shared workspace, enabling a lower-privileged attacker to redirect benign edits to sensitive files (e.g., shell configuration) in a higher-privileged session.
Users on standard Claude Code auto-update have received this fix already. Users performing manual updates are advised to update to the latest version.

| @fastify/jwt is a JSON Web Token plugin for the Fastify web framework. In versions before 10.2.3, a time span passed to expiresIn, notBefore, or maxAge that the plugin's parser cannot read, such as a compound span, a month unit, an ISO 8601 duration, a decimal comma, or a value with surrounding whitespace, is silently dropped instead of refused. On the signing path this produces a token with no expiration claim that never expires, and on the verification path a configured maxAge stops being enforced, so a token that should be rejected for age is accepted. The issue is fixed in @fastify/jwt 10.2.3, and users should upgrade to 10.2.3 or later. As a workaround, pass these options as a number of seconds, or verify that any time-span string parses to a finite value before relying on it. |
| fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. Prior to 6.3.4, the fast-jwt createVerifier cache can continue accepting a previously valid, signed JWT after its exp time when caching is enabled and the token has exp but no iat. In src/verifier.js, cacheSet derives the exp cache deadline only when iat is present, so the cache falls back to cacheTTL, and a later cache hit returns the saved payload before verifyToken rechecks expiration. An attacker who can replay the same cached bearer token can extend access until the cache entry expires, but cannot forge a token through this issue. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.4. |
| fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. Prior to 6.3.0, fast-jwt createVerifier accepts Infinity for clockTolerance because its option validation checks type and negativity but not finiteness. In validateClaimDateValue, infinite positive and negative modifiers make exp and nbf comparisons always pass, allowing expired or not-yet-active tokens to be accepted. The verifier cache also derives infinite bounds, so entries created under this configuration can remain valid until eviction. Exploitation requires an application administrator or equivalent configuration path to set clockTolerance to Infinity. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.0. |
| XML External Entity vulnerability in libexpat 2.2.0 and earlier (Expat XML Parser Library) allows attackers to put the parser in an infinite loop using a malformed external entity definition from an external DTD. |
| Multiple XML external entity (XXE) vulnerabilities in the (1) Dom4JDriver, (2) DomDriver, (3) JDomDriver, (4) JDom2Driver, (5) SjsxpDriver, (6) StandardStaxDriver, and (7) WstxDriver drivers in XStream before 1.4.9 allow remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a crafted XML document. |
| A flaw was found in FasterXML Jackson Databind, where it did not have entity expansion secured properly. This flaw allows vulnerability to XML external entity (XXE) attacks. The highest threat from this vulnerability is data integrity. |
| named in ISC BIND 9.x before 9.9.7-P2 and 9.10.x before 9.10.2-P3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (REQUIRE assertion failure and daemon exit) via TKEY queries. |
| The WSO2 Identity Server fails to enforce a default expiry time for SMS One-Time Passwords (OTPs) used in multi-factor authentication (MFA). This allows unused OTPs to remain valid indefinitely, presenting an opportunity for malicious actors to conduct brute force attacks by repeatedly guessing the OTP.
The absence of automatic expiration for OTPs grants attackers an unlimited timeframe to attempt guessing the correct code. A successful brute force attack can lead to an MFA bypass, resulting in the unauthorized takeover of a user's account and compromising the security and privacy of both the individual and the system. |
| Due to improper restrictions on XML entities multiple vulnerabilities exist in the command line interface of ArubaOS. A successful exploit could allow an authenticated attacker to retrieve files from the local system or cause the application to consume system resources, resulting in a denial of service condition.
