| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Jacob N. Breetvelt WP Photo Album Plus wp-photo-album-plus allows Stored XSS.This issue affects WP Photo Album Plus: from n/a through 9.3.05.003. |
| Vikunja 2.2.0 before 2.7.1 contains an HTML injection vulnerability in CreateConversationalHeader in pkg/notifications/mail.go that interpolates display names and task and project titles raw into email anchors. Authenticated users can craft titles or display names that close the anchor and inject phishing links into task-comment and task-mention notification emails sent to project members. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in Apache ZooKeeper. The server serializes its data tree to a snapshot by recursing one stack frame per znode level, with no depth bound. A client permitted to create znodes (the default root ACL is open) can build a chain of nested znodes deep enough that taking a snapshot exhausts the JVM stack and kills the snapshot thread; sizes stay within jute.maxbuffer, so existing limits do not prevent it. This is a denial of service that becomes persistent: on restart the server rebuilds the deep tree from its transaction log and fails again while taking the startup snapshot, so it does not return to service, and recovery can entail data loss. The same log affects a leader and its followers, so it can spread across an ensemble.
This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper 3.8.0 through 3.8.7 and 3.9.0 through 3.9.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to 3.8.8 or 3.9.7, which fix the issue. As a workaround, use ACLs and authentication to restrict znode creation rather than relying on the default open root ACL. |
| Wasmtime 46.0.0 before 46.0.3 and 47.0.0 before 47.0.4 contains an uncontrolled resource allocation vulnerability in its WASIp3 implementation that buffers guest-specified-length writes on the host without limit. Malicious guests can offer large buffers to WASIp3 file or HTTP write streams, causing the host to copy and buffer all bytes, bounded only by guest linear memory, exhausting host memory. |
| A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, tvOS 27.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination. |
| A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. A malicious app may be able to read or write to protected files. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2. Processing a maliciously crafted video file may lead to unexpected app termination. |
| An exposed IOCTL with insufficient access control in ASUS System Control Interface allows a local, low-privileged user to read and write arbitrary physical memory through crafted device control requests, ultimately resulting in a complete compromise of the affected system.
Refer to the ' Security Update for ASUS System Control Interface ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in the multiRead request handler of Apache ZooKeeper allows a remote attacker to crash the server (denial of service) with a single small request.
The multiRead handler places no limit on the number of bundled read operations or on the cumulative size of the response it builds in memory. Because each operation's result is fully materialized and retained before serialization, a request that is small on the wire — within the jute.maxbuffer limit — but that references a large znode many times can force the server to allocate far more heap than the request size implies, exhausting the JVM heap and terminating the server with an OutOfMemoryError. Neither jute.maxbuffer nor largeRequestMaxBytes prevents this, as both bound only the inbound request, not the response.
This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper from 3.7.0 through 3.9.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.7, which enforces configurable limits on the multiRead operation count and cumulative response size. |
| Improper handling of exceptional conditions in the quota subsystem of Apache ZooKeeper allows an attacker able to write under the /zookeeper/quota subtree — unauthenticated on default deployments, where that subtree is world-writable — to crash the server's critical request-processing thread and render the on-disk data directory permanently unbootable.
This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper up to and including 3.9.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.8.8 or 3.9.7, which fixes the issue. |
| An uncontrolled memory access in the PDF import code of Apache OpenOffice versions through 4.1.16 allows a crafted PDF to cause an out-of-bounds memory write, causing program crash or memory corruption.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue. |
| On HP Poly EagleEye Cube USB 1.3.1-001267 devices, one of the API functions available on a management service accessible via USB allows command injection. This allows attackers (without administrator-level access) to execute arbitrary commands on the device as root. This is due to insufficient input validation that allows an attacker to control part of the CSR certificate generation process. This provides full root access that permits full control over device operations, unauthorized access to data, and the ability to place a persistent backdoor on the device (which could operate via the Ethernet port). |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a heap buffer overflow in transport_default_read_pdu when handling partial Early User Authorization reads during PROTOCOL_HYBRID_EX CredSSP. A malicious RDP server can split the four-byte EUA result into short reads that advance the stream pointer beyond the 16 KiB allocation, causing an out-of-bounds write and client denial of service. |
| SharpEmu is an experimental PlayStation 5 emulator for Windows and Linux. In version 0.0.3-release.3 and earlier, the repository-provided debugger frontend tooling is vulnerable while running. This tooling is not included in the release archives. The frontend exposes an HTTP API on 127.0.0.1:8765 without authentication or CSRF token. Its do_POST handler in tools/SharpEmu.DebuggerFrontend/debugger_frontend.py does not validate the Origin, Referer, Sec-Fetch-Site, or Host headers. The _read_json_body() function also accepts JSON sent with browser-simple content types instead of requiring application/json . A malicious page that can reach the loopback listener can send cross-origin requests to /api/launch , /api/command , and /api/connect . Chromium may require Local Network Access permission for pages served from public origins. Local-origin pages and other delivery paths are not consistently subject to this restriction. The /api/launch endpoint accepts an attacker-selected emulatorPath if it points to an existing file on the victim’s host. On POSIX systems, that file must also be executable. The endpoint additionally requires an existing ebootPath . The /api/command endpoint exposes debugger operations, including write-memory , set-register , and continue . The /api/connect endpoint can initiate outbound TCP connections. These operations can let an attacker execute an existing binary with the victim’s privileges, control the attached emulated process, or reach network services accessible from the host. DNS rebinding can additionally let the attacker read API responses interactively. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.3-release.3-patch.1 |
