CVSS v3.1 |
UsersController::edit in Cerebrate before 1.30 allows an authenticated non-privileged user to escalate their privileges (e.g., obtain a higher role such as admin) via the user-edit endpoint by supplying or modifying role_id or organisation_id fields in the edit request.
The Syliud PayPal Plugin is the Sylius Core Team’s plugin for the PayPal Commerce Platform. Prior to 1.6.2, 1.7.2, and 2.0.2, a discovered vulnerability allows users to modify their shopping cart after completing the PayPal Checkout process and payment authorization. If a user initiates a PayPal transaction from a product page or the cart page and then returns to the order summary page, they can still manipulate the cart contents before finalizing the order. As a result, the order amount in Sylius may be higher than the amount actually captured by PayPal, leading to a scenario where merchants deliver products or services without full payment. The issue is fixed in versions: 1.6.2, 1.7.2, 2.0.2 and above.
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in GNU cflow up to 1.8. Affected by this vulnerability is the function yylex of the file c.c of the component Lexer. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
PAM-PKCS#11 is a Linux-PAM login module that allows a X.509 certificate based user login. In versions 0.6.12 and prior, the pam_pkcs11 module segfaults when a user presses ctrl-c/ctrl-d when they are asked for a PIN. When a user enters no PIN at all, `pam_get_pwd` will never initialize the password buffer pointer and as such `cleanse` will try to dereference an uninitialized pointer. On my system this pointer happens to have the value 3 most of the time when running sudo and as such it will segfault. The most likely impact to a system affected by this issue is an availability impact due to a daemon that uses PAM crashing. As of time of publication, a patch for the issue is unavailable.
A NULL Pointer Dereference discovered in DumpTS v0.1.0-nightly allows attackers to cause a denial of service via the function DumpOneStream() at /src/DumpStream.cpp.
libosdp is an implementation of IEC 60839-11-5 OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) and provides a C library with support for C++, Rust and Python3. At ospd_common.c, on the osdp_reply_name function, any reply id between REPLY_ACK and REPLY_XRD is valid, but names array do not declare all of the range. On a case of an undefined reply id within the range, name will be null (name = names[reply_id - REPLY_ACK];). Null name will casue a crash on next line: if (name[0] == '\0') as null[0] is invalid. As this logic is not limited to a secure connection, attacker may trigger this vulnerability without any prior knowledge. This issue is fixed in 2.4.0.
In Alinto SOPE SOGo 2.0.2 through 5.12.2, sope-core/NGExtensions/NGHashMap.m allows a NULL pointer dereference and SOGo crash via a request in which a parameter in the query string is a duplicate of a parameter in the POST body.
A vulnerability has been identified in JT2Go (All versions < V2312.0004), Parasolid V35.1 (All versions < V35.1.254), Parasolid V36.0 (All versions < V36.0.207), Parasolid V36.1 (All versions < V36.1.147), Teamcenter Visualization V14.2 (All versions < V14.2.0.12), Teamcenter Visualization V14.3 (All versions < V14.3.0.9), Teamcenter Visualization V2312 (All versions < V2312.0004). The affected applications contain a null pointer dereference vulnerability while parsing specially crafted X_T files. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to crash the application causing denial of service condition.
Null pointer exception vulnerabilities were reported in the fingerprint sensor service that could allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service.
CWE-476 NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the evalExpr() function of GoAhead Web Server (version <= 6.0.0) when compiled with the ME_GOAHEAD_JAVASCRIPT flag. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker with the privileges to modify JavaScript template (JST) files to trigger a crash and cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by providing malicious templates.
A flaw has been found in omec-project UPF up to 2.1.3-dev. This affects the function handleSessionEstablishmentRequest of the file /pfcpiface/pfcpiface/messages_session.go of the component PFCP Session Establishment Request Handler. This manipulation causes null pointer dereference. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
The YugabyteDB tablet server contains a flaw in its YCQL query handling that can trigger a null pointer dereference when processing certain malformed inputs. An authenticated attacker could exploit this issue to crash the YCQL tablet server, resulting in a denial of service.
taurusxin ncmdump v1.3.2 was discovered to contain a segmentation violation via the NeteaseCrypt::FixMetadata() function at /src/ncmcrypt.cpp. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted .ncm file.
| The memory allocation function ACPI_ALLOCATE_ZEROED does not guarantee a
successful allocation, but the subsequent code directly dereferences the
pointer that receives it, which may lead to null pointer dereference.
To fix this issue, a null pointer check should be added. If it is null,
return exception code AE_NO_MEMORY. |
FFmpeg git master before commit c08d30 was discovered to contain a memory leak in the avformat_free_context function in libavutil/mem.c.
SendQuick Entera devices before 11HF5 are vulnerable to CAPTCHA bypass by removing the Captcha parameter.
Cairo through 1.18.4, as used in Poppler through 25.08.0, has an "unscaled->face == NULL" assertion failure for _cairo_ft_unscaled_font_fini in cairo-ft-font.c.
The Addressing GLPI plugin enables you to create IP reports for visualize IP addresses used and free on a given network.. Starting with 3.0.0 and before 3.0.3, a poor security check allows an unauthenticated attacker to determine whether data exists (by name) in GLPI.
CodeLit CourseLit before 0.57.5 allows Parameter Tampering via a payment plan associated with the wrong entity.
Netskope was notified about a potential gap in its agent (NS Client) on Windows systems. If this gap is successfully exploited, a local, authenticated user with Administrator privileges can improperly load the driver as a generic kernel service. This triggers the flaw, causing a system crash (Blue-Screen-of-Death) and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected machine.
