CVSS v3.1 |
Format string vulnerability in the osLogMsg function in server/os/aulog.c in Network Audio System (NAS) 1.9.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in unspecified vectors, related to syslog.
Format string vulnerability in vmrun in VMware VIX API 1.6.x, VMware Workstation 6.5.x before 6.5.4 build 246459, VMware Player 2.5.x before 2.5.4 build 246459, and VMware Server 2.x on Linux, and VMware Fusion 2.x before 2.0.7 build 246742, allows local users to gain privileges via format string specifiers in process metadata.
Format string vulnerability in ECTrace.dll in the iMailGateway service in the Internet Mail Gateway in OneBridge Server and DMZ Proxy in Sybase OneBridge Mobile Data Suite 5.5 and 5.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in unspecified string fields, related to authentication logging.
Multiple format string vulnerabilities in the phar extension in PHP 5.3 before 5.3.2 allow context-dependent attackers to obtain sensitive information (memory contents) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted phar:// URI that is not properly handled by the (1) phar_stream_flush, (2) phar_wrapper_unlink, (3) phar_parse_url, or (4) phar_wrapper_open_url functions in ext/phar/stream.c; and the (5) phar_wrapper_open_dir function in ext/phar/dirstream.c, which triggers errors in the php_stream_wrapper_log_error function.
libpurple/protocols/yahoo/libymsg.c in Pidgin before 2.10.8 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a Yahoo! P2P message with a crafted length field, which triggers a buffer over-read.
Format string vulnerability in the client in Tftpd32 before 4.50 allows remote servers to cause a denial of service (crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in the Remote File field.
Buffer overflow in libtelnet/encrypt.c in telnetd in FreeBSD 7.3 through 9.0, MIT Kerberos Version 5 Applications (aka krb5-appl) 1.0.2 and earlier, Heimdal 1.5.1 and earlier, GNU inetutils, and possibly other products allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long encryption key, as exploited in the wild in December 2011.
Multiple format string vulnerabilities in Network Authorization in Apple Mac OS X 10.6 before 10.6.4 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via format string specifiers in a (1) afp, (2) cifs, or (3) smb URL.
Multiple format string vulnerabilities in Condor 7.2.0 through 7.6.4, and possibly certain 7.7.x versions, as used in Red Hat MRG Grid and possibly other products, allow local users to cause a denial of service (condor_schedd daemon and failure to launch jobs) and possibly execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in (1) the reason for a hold for a job that uses an XML user log, (2) the filename of a file to be transferred, and possibly other unspecified vectors.
Format string vulnerability in VMware OVF Tool 2.1 on Windows, as used in VMware Workstation 8.x before 8.0.5, VMware Player 4.x before 4.0.5, and other products, allows user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted OVF file.
Format string vulnerability in authcfg.cgi in Accoria Web Server (aka Rock Web Server) 1.4.7 allows remote attackers to have an unspecified impact via format string specifiers in the path (aka Password File) parameter.
Format string vulnerability in the sudo_debug function in Sudo 1.8.0 through 1.8.3p1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code via format string sequences in the program name for sudo.
Format string vulnerability in the debug-logging feature in Application Firewall in Apple Mac OS X before 10.7.2 allows local users to gain privileges via a crafted name of an executable file.
Format string vulnerability in the dkim_exim_verify_finish function in src/dkim.c in Exim before 4.76 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via format string specifiers in data used in DKIM logging, as demonstrated by an identity field containing a % (percent) character.
Multiple format string vulnerabilities in phar_object.c in the phar extension in PHP 5.3.5 and earlier allow context-dependent attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory, cause a denial of service (memory corruption), or possibly execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in an argument to a class method, leading to an incorrect zend_throw_exception_ex call.
Redis is an in-memory database that persists on disk. In Redit 7.0 prior to 7.0.12, extracting key names from a command and a list of arguments may, in some cases, trigger a heap overflow and result in reading random heap memory, heap corruption and potentially remote code execution. Several scenarios that may lead to authenticated users executing a specially crafted `COMMAND GETKEYS` or `COMMAND GETKEYSANDFLAGS`and authenticated users who were set with ACL rules that match key names, executing a specially crafted command that refers to a variadic list of key names. The vulnerability is patched in Redis 7.0.12.
| An Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS SRX 5000 Series devices using SPC2 line cards while ALGs are enabled allows an attacker sending specific crafted packets to cause a transit traffic Denial of Service (DoS).
Continued receipt and processing of these specific packets will sustain the Denial of Service condition.
This issue affects:
Juniper Networks Junos OS SRX 5000 Series with SPC2 with ALGs enabled.

In jpeg, there is a possible use after free due to a logic error. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS07225840; Issue ID: ALPS07225840.
In mtk-aie, there is a possible use after free due to a logic error. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS07225857; Issue ID: ALPS07225857.
