CVSS v3.1 |
| In Public Knowledge Project (PKP) OJS, OMP, and OPS before 3.3.0.21 and 3.4.x before 3.4.0.8, an XXE attack by the Journal Editor Role can create a new role as super admin in the journal context, and insert a backdoor plugin, by uploading a crafted XML document as a User XML Plugin. |
| Incorrect execution-assigned permissions for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiber™ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via adjacent access. |
| Local file inclusion in Automatic Systems Maintenance SlimLane 29565_d74ecce0c1081d50546db573a499941b10799fb7 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the PassageAutoServer.php page. |
| A flaw was found in the Mirror Registry. The quay-app container shipped as part of the Mirror Registry for OpenShift has write access to the `/etc/passwd`. This flaw allows a malicious actor with access to the container to modify the passwd file and elevate their privileges to the root user within that pod. |
| A Privilege Escalation issue in the inter-process communication procedure from GOG Galaxy (Beta) 2.0.67.2 through v2.0.71.2 allows authentictaed users to change the DACL of arbitrary system directories to include Everyone full control permissions by modifying the FixDirectoryPrivileges instruction parameters sent from GalaxyClient.exe to GalaxyClientService.exe. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Radarr 5.28.0.10274. The affected element is an unknown function of the file C:\ProgramData\Radarr\bin\Radarr.Console.exe of the component Service. Such manipulation leads to incorrect default permissions. The attack can only be performed from a local environment. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. The programs can be replaced by malicious programs by any local or remote attacker. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| Insecure Permissions vulnerability in lin-CMS v.0.2.0 and before allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the login method in the UserController.java component. |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Thread Director Visualizer software before version 1.1.1 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| We identified an issue in the Amazon ECS agent where, under certain conditions, an introspection server could be accessed off-host by another instance if the instances are in the same security group or if their security groups allow incoming connections that include the port where the server is hosted. This issue does not affect instances where the option to allow off-host access to the introspection server is set to 'false'.
This issue has been addressed in ECS agent version 1.97.1. We recommend upgrading to the latest version and ensuring any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes.
If customers cannot update to the latest AMI, they can modify the Amazon EC2 security groups to restrict incoming access to the introspection server port (51678). |
| The Goodwy com.goodwy.dialer (aka Right Dialer) application through 5.1.0 for Android enables any application (with no permissions) to place phone calls without user interaction by sending a crafted intent via the com.goodwy.dialer.activities.DialerActivity component. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver on Windows allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver: from 1.0.0 through 2.0.0. |
| MacOS version of Poedit bundles a Python interpreter that inherits the Transparency, Consent, and Control (TCC) permissions
granted by the user to the main application bundle. An attacker with local user access can
invoke this interpreter with arbitrary commands or scripts, leveraging the
application's previously granted TCC permissions to access user's files in privacy-protected folders without triggering user prompts. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Poedit, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.
This issue has been fixed in 3.6.3 version of Poedit. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in MongoDB BI Connector ODBC driver allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects BI Connector ODBC driver: from 1.0.0 through 1.4.6. |
| Privilege escalation in Automatic Systems Maintenance SlimLane 29565_d74ecce0c1081d50546db573a499941b10799fb7 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the FtpConfig.php page. |
| SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access to read files from the server, which otherwise would be restricted. This attack is possible only if a Web Dispatcher or some sort of Proxy Server is in use and the file in question was previously opened or downloaded in an application based on SAP GUI for HTML Technology. This will not compromise the application's integrity or availability. |
| Infoblox BloxOne v2.4 was discovered to contain a business logic flaw due to thick client vulnerabilities. |
| Insecure Permissions vulnerability in e-trust Horacius 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the password reset function. |
| Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. In versions 8.8.1 and prior, a privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Notepad++ v8.8.1 installer that allows unprivileged users to gain SYSTEM-level privileges through insecure executable search paths. An attacker could use social engineering or clickjacking to trick users into downloading both the legitimate installer and a malicious executable to the same directory (typically Downloads folder - which is known as Vulnerable directory). Upon running the installer, the attack executes automatically with SYSTEM privileges. This issue has been fixed and will be released in version 8.8.2. |
| Insecure inherited permissions for some Intel(R) Simics(R) Package Manager software before version 1.12.0 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
