CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Shanghai Bairui Information Technology SunloginClient 15.8.3.19819. This affects an unknown part in the library process.dll of the file sunlogin_guard.exe. The manipulation leads to uncontrolled search path. Local access is required to approach this attack. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was found in OpenSight Software FlashFXP 5.4.0.3970. It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown function in the library libcrypto-1_1.dll of the file FlashFXP.exe. The manipulation leads to uncontrolled search path. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| NREL BEopt 2.8.0.0 contains a DLL hijacking vulnerability that allows attackers to load arbitrary libraries by tricking users into opening application files from remote shares. Attackers can exploit insecure library loading of sdl2.dll and libegl.dll by placing malicious libraries on WebDAV or SMB shares to execute unauthorized code. |
| Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) DSA software before version 25.2.15.9 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Uncontrolled search path element for some Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant Tool software before version 24.6.49.8 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Uncontrolled search path for some Clock Jitter Tool software before version 6.0.1 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| PSEvents.exe in multiple Panda Security products runs hourly with SYSTEM privileges and loads DLL files from a user-writable directory without proper validation. An attacker with low-privileged access who can write DLL files to the monitored directory can achieve arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privileges. Affected products include Panda Global Protection 2016, Panda Antivirus Pro 2016, Panda Small Business Protection, and Panda Internet Security 2016 (all versions up to 16.1.2). |
| Uncontrolled search path for the Intel(R) Thread Director Visualizer software before version 1.0.1 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| ClipShare is a lightweight and cross-platform tool for clipboard sharing. Prior to 3.8.5, ClipShare Server for Windows uses the default Windows DLL search order and loads system libraries like CRYPTBASE.dll and WindowsCodecs.dll from its own directory before the system path. A local, non-privileged user who can write to the folder containing clip_share.exe can place malicious DLLs there, leading to arbitrary code execution in the context of the server, and, if launched by an Administrator (or another elevated user), it results in a reliable local privilege escalation. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.8.5. |
| Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) High Level Synthesis Compiler software for Intel(R) Quartus(R) Prime Pro Edition Software before version 24.1 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric MC Works64 all versions, Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS32 versions 9.7 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, and Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions GENESIS32 versions 9.7 and prior allows a local attacker to execute a malicious code by storing a specially crafted DLL in a specific folder when GENESIS64, ICONICS Suite, Hyper Historian, GENESIS32, and MC Works64 are installed with the Pager agent in the alarm multi-agent notification feature. |
| DLL hijacking vulnerabilities, caused by an uncontrolled search path in Flash Programming Utility installer can lead to privilege escalation and arbitrary code execution when running the impacted installer. |
| In Zabbix Agent and Agent 2 on Windows, the OpenSSL configuration file is loaded from a path writable by low-privileged users, allowing malicious modification and potential local privilege escalation by injecting a DLL. |
| NetMod VPN Client 5.3.1 is vulnerable to DLL injection, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code by placing a malicious DLL in a directory where the application loads dependencies. This vulnerability arises due to the improper validation of dynamically loaded libraries. |
| Installer of
Panasonic
AutoDownloader
version 1.2.8
contains an issue with the DLL search path, which may lead to loading
a crafted DLL file in the same directory. |
| KeePassXC OpenSSL Configuration Uncontrolled Search Path Element Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of KeePassXC. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the configuration of OpenSSL. The product loads configuration from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of KeePassXC when run by a target user on the system. Was ZDI-CAN-29156. |
| A Dynamic-link Library Injection vulnerability in GatewayGeo MapServer for Windows version 5 allows attackers to escalate privileges via a crafted executable. |
| Local privilege escalation due to DLL hijacking vulnerability. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (Windows) before build 40901, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 39378, Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Windows) before build 39938, Acronis True Image OEM (Windows) before build 42575. |
| FileZilla Client 3.63.1 contains a DLL hijacking vulnerability that allows attackers to execute malicious code by placing a crafted TextShaping.dll in the application directory. Attackers can generate a reverse shell payload using msfvenom and replace the missing DLL to achieve remote code execution when the application launches. |
| Uncontrolled search path elements in Anthropic Claude for Windows installer (Claude Setup.exe) versions prior to 1.1.3363 allow local privilege escalation via DLL search-order hijacking. The installer loads DLLs (e.g., profapi.dll) from its own directory after UAC elevation, enabling arbitrary code execution if a malicious DLL is planted alongside the installer. |
