CVSS v3.1 |
| A Prototype pollution vulnerability in Kibana leads to arbitrary code execution via crafted HTTP requests to machine learning and reporting endpoints. |
| Prototype Pollution in Kibana can lead to code injection via unrestricted file upload combined with path traversal. |
| superjson is a program to allow JavaScript expressions to be serialized to a superset of JSON. In versions prior to 1.8.1 superjson allows input to run arbitrary code on any server using superjson input without prior authentication or knowledge. The only requirement is that the server implements at least one endpoint which uses superjson during request processing. This has been patched in superjson 1.8.1. Users are advised to update. There are no known workarounds for this issue. |
| Binding to an unrestricted ip address in GitHub allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| The value function in jsonpath 1.1.1 lib/index.js is vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. |
| js-yaml is a JavaScript YAML parser and dumper. In js-yaml before 4.1.1 and 3.14.2, it's possible for an attacker to modify the prototype of the result of a parsed yaml document via prototype pollution (`__proto__`). All users who parse untrusted yaml documents may be impacted. The problem is patched in js-yaml 4.1.1 and 3.14.2. Users can protect against this kind of attack on the server by using `node --disable-proto=delete` or `deno` (in Deno, pollution protection is on by default). |
| npm package `expr-eval` is vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. An attacker with access to express eval interface can use JavaScript prototype-based inheritance model to achieve arbitrary code execution. The npm expr-eval-fork package resolves this issue. |
| In Plotly plotly.js before 2.25.2, plot API calls have a risk of __proto__ being polluted in expandObjectPaths or nestedProperty. |
| Elysia is a Typescript framework for request validation, type inference, OpenAPI documentation and client-server communication. Versions 1.4.0 through 1.4.16 contain a prototype pollution vulnerability in `mergeDeep` after merging results of two standard schema validations with the same key. Due to the ordering of merging, there must be an any type that is set as a standalone guard, to allow for the `__proto__ prop` to be merged. When combined with GHSA-8vch-m3f4-q8jf this allows for a full RCE by an attacker. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.17. To workaround, remove the `__proto__ key` from body. |
|
Dell BSAFE SSL-J version 7.0 and all versions prior to 6.5, and Dell BSAFE Crypto-J versions prior to 6.2.6.1 contain an unmaintained third-party component vulnerability. An unauthenticated remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to the compromise of the impacted system. This is a Critical vulnerability and Dell recommends customers to upgrade at the earliest opportunity.

| JSONata is a JSON query and transformation language. Starting in version 1.4.0 and prior to version 1.8.7 and 2.0.4, a malicious expression can use the transform operator to override properties on the `Object` constructor and prototype. This may lead to denial of service, remote code execution or other unexpected behavior in applications that evaluate user-provided JSONata expressions. This issue has been fixed in JSONata versions 1.8.7 and 2.0.4. Applications that evaluate user-provided expressions should update ASAP to prevent exploitation. As a workaround, one may apply the patch manually. |
| xml2js version 0.4.23 allows an external attacker to edit or add new properties to an object. This is possible because the application does not properly validate incoming JSON keys, thus allowing the __proto__ property to be edited. |
| deep-object-diff version 1.1.0 allows an external attacker to edit or add new properties to an object. This is possible because the application does not properly validate incoming JSON keys, thus allowing the '__proto__' property to be edited. |
| deep-parse-json version 1.0.2 allows an external attacker to edit or add new properties to an object. This is possible because the application does not correctly validate the incoming JSON keys, thus allowing the '__proto__' property to be edited. |
| fastest-json-copy version 1.0.1 allows an external attacker to edit or add new properties to an object. This is possible because the application does not correctly validate the incoming JSON keys, thus allowing the '__proto__' property to be edited. |
| The code that processes control channel messages sent to `named` calls certain functions recursively during packet parsing. Recursion depth is only limited by the maximum accepted packet size; depending on the environment, this may cause the packet-parsing code to run out of available stack memory, causing `named` to terminate unexpectedly. Since each incoming control channel message is fully parsed before its contents are authenticated, exploiting this flaw does not require the attacker to hold a valid RNDC key; only network access to the control channel's configured TCP port is necessary.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.2.0 through 9.16.43, 9.18.0 through 9.18.18, 9.19.0 through 9.19.16, 9.9.3-S1 through 9.16.43-S1, and 9.18.0-S1 through 9.18.18-S1. |
| In AngularJS before 1.7.9 the function `merge()` could be tricked into adding or modifying properties of `Object.prototype` using a `__proto__` payload. |
| CUPS is a standards-based, open-source printing system, and `cups-browsed` contains network printing functionality including, but not limited to, auto-discovering print services and shared printers. `cups-browsed` binds to `INADDR_ANY:631`, causing it to trust any packet from any source, and can cause the `Get-Printer-Attributes` IPP request to an attacker controlled URL. When combined with other vulnerabilities, such as CVE-2024-47076, CVE-2024-47175, and CVE-2024-47177, an attacker can execute arbitrary commands remotely on the target machine without authentication when a malicious printer is printed to. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
riscv: rewrite __kernel_map_pages() to fix sleeping in invalid context
__kernel_map_pages() is a debug function which clears the valid bit in page
table entry for deallocated pages to detect illegal memory accesses to
freed pages.
This function set/clear the valid bit using __set_memory(). __set_memory()
acquires init_mm's semaphore, and this operation may sleep. This is
problematic, because __kernel_map_pages() can be called in atomic context,
and thus is illegal to sleep. An example warning that this causes:
BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/rwsem.c:1578

Rewrite this function with apply_to_existing_page_range(). It is fine to
not have any locking, because __kernel_map_pages() works with pages being
allocated/deallocated and those pages are not changed by anyone else in the
meantime. |
| Improperly Controlled Modification of Object Prototype Attributes ('Prototype Pollution') in jquery-bbq 1.2.1 allows a malicious user to inject properties into Object.prototype. |
