CVSS v3.1 |
| CYRISMA Sensor before 444 for Windows has an Insecure Folder and File Permissions vulnerability. A low-privileged user can abuse these issues to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM by replacing DataSpotliteAgent.exe or any other binaries called by the Cyrisma_Agent service when it starts |
| The Nix, Lix, and Guix package managers default to using temporary build directories in a world-readable and world-writable location. This allows standard users to deceive the package manager into using directories with pre-existing content, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data manipulation. This affects Nix before 2.24.15, 2.26.4, 2.28.4, and 2.29.1; Lix before 2.91.2, 2.92.2, and 2.93.1; and Guix before 1.4.0-38.0e79d5b. |
| The application Faronics WINSelect (Standard + Enterprise) saves its configuration in an encrypted file on the file system which "Everyone" has read and write access to, path to file:
C:\ProgramData\WINSelect\WINSelect.wsd
The path for the affected WINSelect Enterprise configuration file is:
C:\ProgramData\Faronics\StorageSpace\WS\WINSelect.wsd |
| Dumb Drop is a file upload application. Users with permission to upload to the service are able to exploit a path traversal vulnerability to overwrite arbitrary system files. As the container runs as root by default, there is no limit to what can be overwritten. With this, it's possible to inject malicious payloads into files ran on schedule or upon certain service actions. As the service is not required to run with authentication enabled, this may permit wholly unprivileged users root access. Otherwise, anybody with a PIN. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver on Windows allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver: from 1.0.0 through 2.0.0. |
| In RSA NetWitness (NW) Platform before 12.5.1, even when an administrator revokes the access of a specific user with an active session, an internal threat actor could impersonate the revoked user and gain unauthorized access to sensitive data. |
| An issue in Owncloud android apk v.4.3.1 allows a physically proximate attacker to escalate privileges via the PassCodeViewModel class, specifically in the checkPassCodeIsValid method |
| Insecure inherited permissions for some Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Application before version 20.0.1021 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable local code execution. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| By default, dedicated folders of ZONECENTRAL for Windows up to 2024.3 or up to Q.2021.2 (ANSSI qualification submission) can be accessed by other users to misuse technical files and make them perform tasks with higher privileges. Configuration of ZONECENTRAL has to be modified to prevent this vulnerability. |
| The Toshiba printers provide several ways to upload files using the web interface without authentication. An attacker can overwrite any insecure files. And the Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. The programs can be replaced by malicious programs by any local or remote attacker. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | guix-daemon in GNU Guix before 5ab3c4c allows privilege escalation because build outputs are accessible by local users before file metadata concerns (e.g., for setuid and setgid programs) are properly addressed. The vulnerability can be remediated within the product via certain pull, reconfigure, and restart actions. Both 5ab3c4c and 5582241 are needed to resolve the vulnerability. |
| The configuration of Cursor on macOS, specifically the "RunAsNode" fuse enabled, allows a local attacker with unprivileged access to execute arbitrary code that inherits Cursor TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions.
Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Cursor, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.
This issue was detected in 15.4.1 version of Cursor. Project maintainers decided not to fix this issue, because a scenario including a local attacker falls outside their defined threat model. |
| A vulnerability was found in TRENDnet TEW-822DRE FW103B02. It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the component vsftpd. The manipulation leads to least privilege violation. Attacking locally is a requirement. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Radarr 5.28.0.10274. The affected element is an unknown function of the file C:\ProgramData\Radarr\bin\Radarr.Console.exe of the component Service. Such manipulation leads to incorrect default permissions. The attack can only be performed from a local environment. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Incorrect default permissions issue in PC Time Tracer prior to 5.2. If exploited, arbitrary code may be executed with SYSTEM privilege on Windows system where the product is running by a local authenticated attacker. |
| Incorrect default permissions on the AMD Ryzen(TM) AI installation folder could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. |
| MacPaw The Unarchiver before 4.3.6 contains vulnerability related to missing quarantine attributes for extracted items. |
| Least Privilege Violation (CWE-272) Vulnerability exists in the communication function between the NJ/NX-series Machine Automation Controllers and the Sysmac Studio Software. An attacker may use this vulnerability to perform unauthorized access and to execute unauthorized code remotely to the controller products. |
| extcap/nrf_sniffer_ble.py, extcap/nrf_sniffer_ble.sh, extcap/SnifferAPI/*.py in Nordic Semiconductor nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE 3.0.0, 3.1.0, 4.0.0, 4.1.0, and 4.1.1 have set incorrect file permission, which allows attackers to do code execution via modified bash and python scripts. |
| Buildroot before 0b2967e lacks the sticky bit for the /dev/shm directory. A fix was released in 2024.02.2. |
