CVE-2026-76928 1 Wireshark 1 Wireshark 2026-08-31 7.5 High
X.509IF protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.7 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service
CVE-2026-80677 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-31 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: driver core: use READ_ONCE() for dev->driver in dev_has_sync_state() dev_has_sync_state() reads dev->driver twice without holding device_lock() -- once for the NULL check and once to dereference ->sync_state. Some callers only hold device_links_write_lock, which doesn't prevent a concurrent unbind from clearing dev->driver via device_unbind_cleanup(). Fix it by reading dev->driver exactly once with READ_ONCE(), pairing with the WRITE_ONCE() in device_set_driver().
CVE-2026-14380 2 Hmbrand, Perl 2 Dbi, Dbi 2026-08-31 8.8 High
DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl are vulnerable to code injection via caller-influenced Profile. When a string is assigned to a DBI handle's Profile attribute, DBI splits it into path, package and arguments, and interpolates the package part in a string eval with no validation of the package name. Any caller-influenced value that reaches the Profile attribute is therefore arbitrary Perl code execution, including calls to run system commands. The Profile attribute can be set from three different sources that can carry untrusted data: the DBI_PROFILE environment variable, a direct attribute assignment, and a DSN driver-attribute clause dbi:Driver(Profile=>SPEC):db. An attacker controlling any of those inputs runs arbitrary Perl in the host process. The strongest remote position is a network-exposed DBI::Gofer / DBI::ProxyServer whose per-request DSN reaches the Profile attribute, letting a client execute code on the broker host.
CVE-2026-14324 2 Pipewire, Redhat 2 Pipewire, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-31 6.5 Medium
RAOP module accepts unbounded Content-Length values and does not check the pw_array_add() return.
CVE-2026-80614 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: emac: Fix NULL pointer dereference in emac_probe Move devm_request_irq() after devm_platform_ioremap_resource() so that dev->emacp is mapped before the interrupt handler can fire. An early interrupt hitting emac_irq() would dereference the NULL dev->emacp and crash. Also remove redundant error message. devm_platform_ioremap_resource() already returns an error message with dev_err_probe().
CVE-2026-80684 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 9.3 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: pci: Fix NULL dereference on AIBV allocation failure The airq_iv_create() can return NULL on failure, but the return value was never checked. If it fails, zdev->aibv will be NULL and fail when dereferenced in kvm_zpci_set_airq(). Add a NULL check and free the previously allocated AISB bit and zdev->aisb on failure.
CVE-2026-80646 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: guard against possible NULL deref in __in6_dev_stats_get() dev_get_by_index_rcu() could return NULL if the original physical device is unregistered. Found by Sashiko.
CVE-2026-80631 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: lzo: reject compressed segment that overflows the compressed input lzo_decompress_bio() validates each on-disk segment length seg_len only against the workspace cbuf size, not against the compressed input size (compressed_len, the total folio bytes of the bio). A crafted extent can carry a segment whose seg_len passes the cbuf check but runs past the end of the bio, so copy_compressed_segment() walks off the last folio: get_current_folio() then returns the NULL folio from bio_next_folio(), and with CONFIG_BTRFS_ASSERT disabled (default) folio_size(NULL) faults. BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in lzo_decompress_bio (fs/btrfs/lzo.c:383) Read of size 8 at addr 0000000000000000 by task kworker/u8:1/29 Workqueue: btrfs-endio simple_end_io_work kasan_report (mm/kasan/report.c:590) lzo_decompress_bio (fs/btrfs/lzo.c:383) end_bbio_compressed_read (fs/btrfs/compression.c:1065) btrfs_bio_end_io (fs/btrfs/bio.c:135) btrfs_check_read_bio (fs/btrfs/bio.c:180 fs/btrfs/bio.c:285) simple_end_io_work process_one_work worker_thread Reject any segment whose payload would extend beyond compressed_len before copying it, treating it as corruption like the other on-disk validation failures in this function.
CVE-2026-80691 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: iblock: Fix wrong PR ops NULL check for PREEMPT/RELEASE In the iblock_execute_pr_out() function, PRO_PREEMPT, PRO_PREEMPT_AND_ABORT, and PRO_RELEASE all perform callback capability checks through ops->pr_clear. The error check allows unimplemented hooks to pass through the gate, resulting dereferencing a NULL function pointer. Check whether the hooks that need to be called are supported.
CVE-2026-80678 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: imx: Fix slave registration race and error handling In i2c_imx_reg_slave(), the slave pointer was assigned before pm_runtime_resume_and_get(). If pm_runtime_resume_and_get() failed, the error path returned without clearing i2c_imx->slave, leaving it non-NULL and causing all subsequent registration attempts to fail with -EBUSY. Additionally, because this driver uses a shared IRQ, the interrupt handler i2c_imx_isr() can execute concurrently and, after acquiring slave_lock, dereference i2c_imx->slave. The previous fix attempt added a lockless i2c_imx->slave = NULL on the error path, but that could race with the ISR under the lock and still cause a NULL pointer dereference. Fix both issues by deferring the assignment of i2c_imx->slave and i2c_imx->last_slave_event to after a successful resume, and by performing the assignment inside the slave_lock critical section. This guarantees that the slave pointer is never left stale on the error path and is always valid when observed by the interrupt handler.
CVE-2026-80664 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 7.3 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: xt_nat: reject unsupported target families xt_nat SNAT and DNAT target handlers assume IP-family conntrack state is present and can dereference a NULL pointer when instantiated from an unsupported family through nft_compat. A bridge-family compat rule can therefore trigger a NULL-dereference in nf_nat_setup_info(). Reject non-IP families in xt_nat_checkentry() so unsupported targets cannot be installed. Keep NFPROTO_INET allowed for valid inet NAT compat users and leave the runtime fast path unchanged. [ The crash was fixed via 9dbba7e694ec ("netfilter: nft_compat: ebtables emulation must reject non-bridge targets"), so this patch is no longer critical. Nevertheless, NAT is only relevant for ipv4/ipv6, so this extra family check is a good idea in any case. ]
CVE-2026-54614 1 Cakephp 1 Debug Kit 2026-08-29 4.3 Medium
DebugKit provides a debugging toolbar for CakePHP applications. Prior to 4.10.3 and 5.2.4, the DebugKit MailPreview feature in src/Controller/MailPreviewController.php accepts a route-controlled previewName value in findPreview and passes the resolved class from App::className() to constructor execution without rejecting namespace separators or verifying that the class extends DebugKit\Mailer\MailPreview. An attacker able to access DebugKit while debug mode is enabled and the request hostname is local or allowlisted can select an unintended application class through the mail-preview preview route, resulting in arbitrary constructor execution and limited disclosure of application information. This issue is fixed in versions 4.10.3 and 5.2.4.
CVE-2026-55559 1 Yamcs 1 Yamcs 2026-08-28 9.8 Critical
Yamcs is a mission control framework. Prior to 5.12.8 and 5.13.2, Yamcs inserts templateArgs from POST /api/instances and PATCH /api/instances/{instance} into YAML through VarStatement.append in yamcs-core/src/main/java/org/yamcs/templating/VarStatement.java without YAML-context escaping. The rendered configuration is parsed by YamcsServer.createInstance and loaded by YamcsServerInstance, allowing an attacker to inject a services entry for org.yamcs.ProcessRunner. Deployments without security.yaml expose the operation through the guest superuser, while secured deployments require SystemPrivilege.CreateInstances. Successful exploitation executes commands as the Yamcs service account. This issue is fixed in versions 5.12.8 and 5.13.2.
CVE-2026-26449 2026-08-28 7.5 High
In Stomper 5e2741e when a client sends a SEND frame missing the destination header field, the server triggers a null pointer dereference (or access to invalid memory) while processing the frame, causing the process to crash.
CVE-2026-79784 1 Gemelo-ai 1 Vocos 2026-08-28 8.8 High
Vocos instantiates a class named by a configuration file without restricting which class may be named. instantiate_class in vocos/pretrained.py takes the class_path value from the configuration, splits it into a module and an attribute, imports the module with __import__, resolves the attribute with getattr, and calls the result as args_class(*args, **kwargs) where kwargs is the config's own init_args mapping. No allowlist constrains the dotted path, so a configuration may name any importable callable and supply the arguments it is called with. Vocos.from_hparams reaches this for each of the feature_extractor, backbone and head entries, and Vocos.from_pretrained reaches it with a remote file: it downloads config.yaml from a caller-named Hugging Face repository and passes it straight to from_hparams. Loading a model from a repository the user does not control therefore executes code of the repository owner's choosing in the loading process. The neighbouring torch.load of the downloaded weights is a separate matter and is constrained on PyTorch releases that default weights_only to true, which leaves this path as the reachable one.
CVE-2026-80621 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: dwc: Avoid dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_deinit() NULL dereference when no RAS DES capability dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_init() returns success when the controller has no RAS DES capability, leaving pci->debugfs->rasdes_info unset. The common debugfs teardown path still calls dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_deinit(), which dereferences rasdes_info unconditionally. Return early when no RAS DES state was allocated. In that case no RAS DES mutex was initialized, so there is nothing to destroy. [mani: reworded subject]
CVE-2026-80679 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/dasd: Fix potential NULL pointer dereference dasd_release_space() checks the implementation of the is_ese() discipline function before calling it to determine if a given device is an ESE DASD. The current usage of the logical AND operator will lead to a NULL pointer dereference as the function is called even if the function pointer is NULL. Fix this by using the logical OR operator.
CVE-2026-80704 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: use proper context for logging The same as the rest of the code, get_ss_info_from_atombios() uses calc_pll_cs->ctx->logger for logging. But calc_pll_cs->ctx is initialized only later in calc_pll_max_vco_construct(). Therefore, any output using DC_LOG_SYNC() leads to a NULL pointer deference in get_ss_info_from_atombios(). According to Sashiko, the very same problem exists in dce112_get_pix_clk_dividers() and dcn3_get_pix_clk_dividers() too. To avoid accessing the NULL context, use clk_src->base.ctx->logger everywhere. That context in base is initialized earlier in dce110_clk_src_construct() and dce112_clk_src_construct(). Before get_ss_info_from_atombios() or Sashiko's get_pix_clk_dividers functions above are actually called. This is done by redefining DC_LOGGER to CTX->logger. Before: dce110_clk_src_construct() did: -> sets clk_src->base.ctx = ctx; -> ss_info_from_atombios_create() -> get_ss_info_from_atombios() <- uses calc_pll_cs->ctx # BOOM -> calc_pll_max_vco_construct() <- sets calc_pll_cs->ctx After: dce110_clk_src_construct() does: -> sets clk_src->base.ctx = ctx; -> ss_info_from_atombios_create() -> get_ss_info_from_atombios() <- uses clk_src->base.ctx (cherry picked from commit 6f16fcbb0c46a87e3d9685407e906573d60104b0)
CVE-2026-74740 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_api: fix TOCTOU NULL deref on a->goto_chain tcf_action_exec() handles TC_ACT_GOTO_CHAIN by first checking rcu_access_pointer(a->goto_chain) and then calling tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(), which does a second, independent rcu_dereference_bh(a->goto_chain) read and immediately dereferences chain->filter_chain. A concurrent tcf_action_set_ctrlact() (e.g. the gact replace path) can clear a->goto_chain between the two reads, so the second read returns NULL and tcf_action_goto_chain_exec() dereferences NULL. Fix the race by doing a single rcu_dereference_bh() read of a->goto_chain in tcf_action_exec(), checking it once for NULL, and passing the resulting chain pointer into tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(). This turns the split check/use into a single check/use on one value.
CVE-2026-80636 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: revert ct extension genid infrastructure This infrastructure is not used anymore after moving ct timeout and helper to use datapath refcount to track object use. Revert commit c56716c69ce1 ("netfilter: extensions: introduce extension genid count") this patch disables all ct extensions (leading to NULL) for unconfirmed conntracks, when this is only targeted at ct helper and ct timeout. There is also codebase that dereferences the ct extension without checking for NULL which could lead to crash.
