CVSS v3.1 |
| Hyperledger Fabric is an enterprise-grade permissioned distributed ledger framework for developing solutions and applications. From versions 1.0.0 to 2.2.26, Channel.java implements readObject() and exposes deSerializeChannel() which call ObjectInputStream.readObject() on untrusted byte arrays without configuring an ObjectInputFilter. This is a classic Java deserialization RCE pattern. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. |
| Issue summary: OpenSSL CMP password based protection verification only
checks whether the protectionAlg parameter was not NULL and not its
ASN.1 type, before treating it as a PBMParameter. A crafted message can
contain a parameter of a different type, which is then dereferenced as an
invalid pointer.
Impact summary: A remote, unauthenticated attacker can crash an application
acting as a CMP server that accepts PBM-protected messages, or a CMP client
talking to a malicious or intercepted CMP server, resulting in a Denial of
Service.
CWE: CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference
Description: When verifying the password-based MAC protection of a CMP
message, OpenSSL library reads the protectionAlg algorithm parameter with
X509_ALGOR_get0(), which returns both the parameter type and its value
pointer. The value is then cast to an ASN1_STRING and treated as the
expected PBMParameter after only checking that pointer is not NULL. The
parameter type returned by X509_ALGOR_get0() was never consulted.
This happens during protection verification, before any MAC is computed, so
no knowledge of the PBM shared secret is required; the only precondition is
that PBM verification is reachable. On the server side this is reached from
OSSL_CMP_SRV_process_request() for any application that stands up a CMP
server accepting PBM-protected messages, and on the client side from CMP
response validation against a malicious or on-path (MITM) server. The
reliable consequence is a denial of service; there is no memory disclosure,
no controlled memory write, and no path to code execution. CMP is a
specialized feature that an application must explicitly enable.
FIPS impact: no
As the CMP code lives outside the FIPS module boundary, no FIPS modules
are affected by this CVE. |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonai 4.6.58, MCP HTTP Stream _validate_origin uses request_origin.startswith(allowed), allowing the attacker-controlled localhost.attacker.com HTTP origin to satisfy the localhost allowlist. A webpage can send Content-Type: text/plain requests without preflight and invoke tools/call without an API key, including file writes that persist agent instructions. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.58. |
| Missing minimum size validation in secure context allocation in FreeRTOS-Kernel before 11.3.1 might allow local users to corrupt secure-world heap metadata via an out-of-bounds write with an undersized stack size parameter. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 11.3.1 or later. |
| Missing queue-set type validation in xQueueAddToSet() in the FreeRTOS-Kernel before 11.3.1 might allow an unprivileged task on MPU-enabled ports with configUSE_QUEUE_SETS=1 to read privileged kernel memory. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 11.3.1 or later. |

| In Splunk Enterprise Security versions below 8.6.1, a user who holds a Splunk Enterprise Security role that contains the mc_investigation_read capability could inject Search Processing Language (SPL) through Analyst Queue search filters, allowing for access to all relevant data and system integrity available to the scheduled searches that run for that user. The vulnerability is possible because the Analyst Queue search filter handling does not validate filter field names before the fields are included in SPL searches. For more information see Users and roles for Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/install/8.4/installation/users-and-roles-for-splunk-enterprise-security), Manage analyst workflows using the analyst queue in Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/administer/8.4/mission-control/manage-analyst-workflows-using-the-analyst-queue-in-splunk-enterprise-security), and Overview of Mission Control in Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/user-guide/8.5/mission-control/overview-of-mission-control-in-splunk-enterprise-security) in the Splunk documentation. |
| In Splunk Enterprise Security versions below 8.6.1, a user who holds the ess_analyst Splunk Enterprise Security role could change User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) search macros that scheduled searches run with administrator permissions, allowing for access to all relevant data and system integrity through those searches. The vulnerability is possible because the UEBA app metadata grants analyst roles write access to search macros that should be writable only by administrator roles. For more information see Users and roles for Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/install/8.4/installation/users-and-roles-for-splunk-enterprise-security) and Roles and knowledge objects in UEBA for Splunk Enterprise Security (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise-security-8/administer/8.5/user-and-entity-behavior-analytics/roles-and-knowledge-objects-in-ueba-for-splunk-enterprise-security) in the Splunk documentation. |
| jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `of` option of the `.position()` util from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `of` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `of` option from untrusted sources. |
| jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `altField` option of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `altField` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `altField` option from untrusted sources. |
| When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, or a derived formats, an Apache Ant build can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that leads to an out of memory error, even for small inputs. This can be used to disrupt builds using Apache Ant. Commonly used derived formats from ZIP archives are for instance JAR files and many office files. Apache Ant prior to 1.9.16 and 1.10.11 were affected. |
| Remote code execution is possible with Apache Tomcat before 6.0.48, 7.x before 7.0.73, 8.x before 8.0.39, 8.5.x before 8.5.7, and 9.x before 9.0.0.M12 if JmxRemoteLifecycleListener is used and an attacker can reach JMX ports. The issue exists because this listener wasn't updated for consistency with the CVE-2016-3427 Oracle patch that affected credential types. |
