CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was detected in code-projects Task Management System 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /index.php of the component Login. Performing a manipulation of the argument Password results in improper authentication. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: hci_uart: clear HCI_UART_SENDING when write_work is canceled
HCI_UART_SENDING bit in tx_state means write_work is pending and blocks
queueing it again. Currently this bit is not cleared when canceling the
work in hci_uart_close(), which blocks future writes when device is
reopened later if write_work was pending.
Fix by clearing HCI_UART_SENDING when canceling the work.
Also make clearing of tx_skb safe by using disable_work_sync +
enable_work instead of just cancel_work_sync. hci_uart_flush() purges
the proto tx queue so we can cancel the pending write_work there,
instead of doing it just in hci_uart_close(). Re-enable and possibly
requeue the work after queue flush. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath9k: hif_usb: don't dereference hif_dev after re-arming firmware request
ath9k_hif_request_firmware() re-arms an asynchronous firmware load via
request_firmware_nowait(), passing hif_dev as the completion context, and
then still dereferences hif_dev:
dev_info(&hif_dev->udev->dev, "ath9k_htc: Firmware %s requested\n",
hif_dev->fw_name);
The re-armed callback ath9k_hif_usb_firmware_cb() runs on the "events"
workqueue and, when the firmware is missing, walks the retry chain into
ath9k_hif_usb_firmware_fail() -> complete_all(&hif_dev->fw_done). That
releases the wait_for_completion(&hif_dev->fw_done) in a concurrent
ath9k_hif_usb_disconnect(), which then kfree()s hif_dev. The trailing
dev_info() in the frame that re-armed the request can therefore read freed
memory (hif_dev->udev, the first field of struct hif_device_usb):
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in ath9k_hif_request_firmware

Freed by ...:
ath9k_hif_usb_disconnect -> kfree drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath9k/hif_usb.c
The fw_done barrier only makes disconnect wait for the firmware chain to
*terminate*; it does not protect the outer ath9k_hif_request_firmware()
frame that re-armed the request and keeps touching hif_dev afterwards.
Drop the post-request dev_info(): it is the only use of hif_dev after the
async request is armed, and it is purely informational (the dev_err() on the
failure path runs only when request_firmware_nowait() did not arm a callback,
so hif_dev is still alive there).
This was first reported by syzbot as a single, non-reproduced crash that was
later auto-obsoleted, and was independently rediscovered by the reFuzz fuzzer,
which produced a C reproducer (USB-gadget connect/disconnect of an ath9k_htc
device whose firmware download fails). The vulnerable code is unchanged and
still present in v7.1-rc6, where the slab-use-after-free reproduces under KASAN
once the (sub-microsecond) race window is widened. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86/mmu: Fix use-after-free on vendor module reload
mmu_destroy_caches() destroys pte_list_desc_cache and
mmu_page_header_cache, but leaves both pointers unchanged. The pointers
live in kvm.ko, and therefore survive when a vendor module is unloaded
while kvm.ko remains loaded.
If creation of pte_list_desc_cache fails during a subsequent vendor
module load, its assignment sets pte_list_desc_cache to NULL and the
error path calls mmu_destroy_caches(). mmu_page_header_cache still
points to the cache destroyed during the preceding vendor module
unload. Passing that stale pointer to kmem_cache_destroy() causes a
slab use-after-free.
Reproduce the issue on a v7.1.3 kernel with CONFIG_KASAN=y,
CONFIG_KASAN_GENERIC=y, CONFIG_KVM=m, and CONFIG_KVM_INTEL=m. A
one-shot test hook forces pte_list_desc_cache to NULL on the second
invocation of kvm_mmu_vendor_module_init():
1. Load kvm.ko and kvm-intel.ko, creating both caches.
2. Unload only kvm_intel, leaving kvm.ko loaded.
3. Reload kvm_intel and force initialization through the -ENOMEM path.
KASAN reports:

Freed by task 16820:
kmem_cache_destroy+0x117/0x1d0
kvm_mmu_vendor_module_exit+0x21/0x30 [kvm]
Clear both pointers immediately after destroying their caches so that
the stored state reflects the caches' lifetime and repeated cleanup is
safe.
With the fix applied, the same injected vendor module reload fails with
-ENOMEM as expected and produces no KASAN report. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: cfg80211: convert pmsr_free_wk to wiphy_work to fix deadlock
When a netlink socket that owns a PMSR session is closed,
cfg80211_release_pmsr() clears the request's nl_portid and queues
pmsr_free_wk to call cfg80211_pmsr_process_abort() asynchronously.
If the interface tears down concurrently, cfg80211_pmsr_wdev_down()
is called under wiphy_lock and calls cancel_work_sync(&pmsr_free_wk)
to wait for any running work. The work function acquires wiphy_lock
via guard(wiphy) before calling process_abort.
This is a deadlock: wdev_down holds wiphy_lock and blocks inside
cancel_work_sync(); pmsr_free_wk blocks trying to acquire that same
wiphy_lock. Neither thread can proceed.
The same deadlock is reachable from cfg80211_leave_locked(), which
calls cfg80211_pmsr_wdev_down() for all interface types under
wiphy_lock.
Fix this by converting pmsr_free_wk from a plain work_struct to a
wiphy_work. The wiphy_work dispatcher holds wiphy_lock when running
work items, so the explicit guard(wiphy) in the work function is no
longer needed. wiphy_work_cancel() can be called safely while holding
wiphy_lock - since wiphy_lock prevents the work from running
concurrently, wiphy_work_cancel() never blocks, eliminating the
deadlock.
Remove the cancel_work_sync() for pmsr_free_wk from the
NETDEV_GOING_DOWN handler. cfg80211_leave(), called unconditionally
just before it, already cancels any pending work under wiphy_lock
via wiphy_work_cancel() inside cfg80211_pmsr_wdev_down(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mtd: virt_concat: fix use-after-free in mtd_virt_concat_destroy_joins()
mtd_concat_destroy() frees item->concat so calling
mtd_virt_concat_put_mtd_devices(item->concat) leads to a use after free.
Fix this by moving mtd_virt_concat_put_mtd_devices() before
mtd_concat_destroy() |
| A vulnerability has been found in astralisone rive-mcp-server-core up to db1d0cc4cd52589116360428b7504fd0ca748b3e. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| The AI Copilot – Content Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.6. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create a new administrator-level user account and achieve full site takeover by saving and executing a malicious workflow containing a wp_create_user action node specifying role=administrator. This vulnerability is exploitable by unauthenticated attackers on any site where the [aiwu-form] shortcode or public chatbot is rendered on a frontend page, as the waic-nonce value is emitted into publicly accessible JavaScript (WAIC_DATA.waicNonce) on those pages, rendering the nonce check a non-functional authorization barrier. |
| Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Versions from 1.7.14 through 1.7.17 are vulnerable to a remotely triggerable denial of service. Both REST APIs are started with the Gin Engine.Run convenience method, which serves requests through Go's default HTTP server with no ReadHeaderTimeout, ReadTimeout, or MaxHeaderBytes configured. As a result, incoming connections that never complete their request headers are held open indefinitely. When a REST listener is reachable beyond localhost through the documented all-interface bind or a Docker port-publish deployment, a single unauthenticated client can open many slow-header connections and hold them open until server file descriptors are exhausted, preventing the API from accepting new connections. This renders the REST API unavailable to legitimate clients. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.18. |
| OpenYak is a local-first agent runtime for reliable tool-using models, with a desktop workspace built on top. Prior to version 1.1.3, the OpenYak desktop backend binds an HTTP API to `127.0.0.1:<random port>` (commonly 19141) without server-side Origin validation, loopback authentication, or Content-Type enforcement, and with a wildcard CORS policy. Any webpage a user visits while OpenYak is running can issue cross-origin requests to this local server — the browser acts as a proxy into loopback, bypassing OS-level network isolation. Chained, this lets a malicious page execute arbitrary shell commands on the host (RCE) via the build agent with `permission_presets.bash=true`, shut down the service, and exfiltrate chat history and account PII — with no user interaction beyond opening the page. Version 1.1.3 patches the issue. |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Versions prior to 0.1.4 of the PraisonAI Platform API have two authorization failures that together break workspace isolation. The service layer for issues and projects performs global primary-key lookups without checking workspace ownership, so any authenticated user can read, modify, and delete resources in any workspace just by swapping UUIDs in their API requests. On top of that, every member management endpoint (add, update role, remove) only requires `min_role="member"`, which lets any workspace member promote themselves to owner and kick out the original owner. A low-privilege member of one workspace can steal data from every other workspace and take over any workspace they belong to. Both issues come from the same gap: the route layer pulls `workspace_id` from the URL and verifies membership, but the service layer ignores the workspace scope for resource lookups and ignores the caller's role level for member operations. The `require_workspace_member()` dependency does its job correctly. The problem is that the service layer doesn't use the information it provides. Version 0.1.4 of the PraisonAI Platform API patch the issue. |
| JupyterHub is software that allows users to create a multi-user server for Jupyter notebooks. Prior to 5.5.0, invalid input to form-based login authenticators can place an unbounded attacker-controlled username in failed-login logs, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to consume logging and storage resources. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0. |
