| CVE-2025-5991 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-07-29 | 5.6 Medium |
| There is a "Use After Free" vulnerability in Qt's QHttp2ProtocolHandler in the QtNetwork module. This only affects HTTP/2 handling, HTTP handling is not affected by this at all. This happens due to a race condition between how QHttp2Stream uploads the body of a POST request and the simultaneous handling of HTTP error responses. This issue only affects Qt 6.9.0 and has been fixed for Qt 6.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5683 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-07-29 | 5.5 Medium |
| When loading a specifically crafted ICNS format image file in QImage then it will trigger a crash. This issue affects Qt from versions 6.3.0 through 6.5.9, from 6.6.0 through 6.8.4, 6.9.0. This is fixed in 6.5.10, 6.8.5 and 6.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5455 | 2 Qt, Redhat | 2 Qt, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-29 | 5.3 Medium |
| An issue was found in the private API function qDecodeDataUrl() in QtCore, which is used in QTextDocument and QNetworkReply, and, potentially, in user code. If the function was called with malformed data, for example, an URL that contained a "charset" parameter that lacked a value (such as "data:charset,"), and Qt was built with assertions enabled, then it would hit an assertion, resulting in a denial of service (abort). This impacts Qt up to 5.15.18, 6.0.0->6.5.8, 6.6.0->6.8.3 and 6.9.0. This has been fixed in 5.15.19, 6.5.9, 6.8.4 and 6.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2025-4211 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-07-29 | 7.3 High |
| Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability in QFileSystemEngine in the Qt corelib module on Windows which potentially allows Symlink Attacks and the use of Malicious Files. Issue originates from CVE-2024-38081. The vulnerability arises from the use of the GetTempPath API, which can be exploited by attackers to manipulate temporary file paths, potentially leading to unauthorized access and privilege escalation. The affected public API in the Qt Framework is QDir::tempPath() and anything that uses it, such as QStandardPaths with TempLocation, QTemporaryDir, and QTemporaryFile. This issue affects all version of Qt up to and including 5.15.18, from 6.0.0 through 6.5.8, from 6.6.0 through 6.8.1. It is fixed in Qt 5.15.19, Qt 6.5.9, Qt 6.8.2, 6.9.0 | ||||
| CVE-2025-3512 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-07-29 | 3.3 Low |
| There is a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in QTextMarkdownImporter. This requires an incorrectly formatted markdown file to be passed to QTextMarkdownImporter to trigger the overflow. This issue affects Qt from 6.8.0 to 6.8.4. Versions up to 6.6.0 are known to be unaffected, and the fix is in 6.8.4 and later. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9499 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-07-22 | N/A |
| An out-of-bounds read (buffer over-read) vulnerability exists in QTextCodec::codecForName() in Qt. When the function is called with a QByteArray that is not NUL-terminated (for example, one created with QByteArray::fromRawData()), the codec-name matching routine reads past the end of the supplied buffer. In most cases this results in an incorrect text codec being selected; in the worst case, if the over-read reaches unmapped memory, the process crashes (denial of service). The over-read is bounded by the length of the longest codec-name candidate, and the out-of-bounds bytes are only compared internally against Qt's fixed list of codec names, so no data is disclosed to an attacker. Applications that do not pass non-NUL-terminated QByteArrays to QTextCodec::codecForName() are not exposed. The affected code resides in the Qt5Compat module from Qt 6.0.0 onward, and in Qt Core (qtbase) in Qt 4.x and Qt 5.x. | ||||
| CVE-2009-2700 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| src/network/ssl/qsslcertificate.cpp in Nokia Trolltech Qt 4.x does not properly handle a '\0' character in a domain name in the Subject Alternative Name field of an X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof arbitrary SSL servers via a crafted certificate issued by a legitimate Certification Authority, a related issue to CVE-2009-2408. | ||||
| CVE-2006-4811 | 2 Qt, Redhat | 3 Qt, Enterprise Linux, Kdelibs | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Integer overflow in Qt 3.3 before 3.3.7, 4.1 before 4.1.5, and 4.2 before 4.2.1, as used in the KDE khtml library, kdelibs 3.1.3, and possibly other packages, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted pixmap image. | ||||
| CVE-2007-0242 | 2 Qt, Redhat | 2 Qt, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| The UTF-8 decoder in codecs/qutfcodec.cpp in Qt 3.3.8 and 4.2.3 does not reject long UTF-8 sequences as required by the standard, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) and directory traversal attacks via long sequences that decode to dangerous metacharacters. | ||||
| CVE-2025-23050 | 1 Qt | 1 Qt | 2026-04-15 | 3.1 Low |
| QLowEnergyController in Qt before 6.8.2 mishandles malformed Bluetooth ATT commands, leading to an out-of-bounds read (or division by zero). This is fixed in 5.15.19, 6.5.9, and 6.8.2. | ||||
| CVE-2024-39936 | 2 Qt, Redhat | 7 Qt, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2025-11-29 | 8.6 High |
| An issue was discovered in HTTP2 in Qt before 5.15.18, 6.x before 6.2.13, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.7, and 6.6.x through 6.7.x before 6.7.3. Code to make security-relevant decisions about an established connection may execute too early, because the encrypted() signal has not yet been emitted and processed.. | ||||
| CVE-2024-36048 | 2 Fedoraproject, Qt | 3 Fedora, Qt, Qt Network Authorization | 2025-11-04 | 9.8 Critical |
| QAbstractOAuth in Qt Network Authorization in Qt before 5.15.17, 6.x before 6.2.13, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.6, and 6.6.x through 6.7.x before 6.7.1 uses only the time to seed the PRNG, which may result in guessable values. | ||||
| CVE-2024-25580 | 2 Qt, Redhat | 2 Qt, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-04 | 6.2 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in gui/util/qktxhandler.cpp in Qt before 5.15.17, 6.x before 6.2.12, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.5, and 6.6.x before 6.6.2. A buffer overflow and application crash can occur via a crafted KTX image file. | ||||

| The named pipes in qtsingleapp in Qt 5.x, as used in qBittorrent and SugarSync, are configured for remote access and allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via an unspecified string. | ||||
| CVE-2015-8079 | 1 Qt | 1 Qtwebkit | 2025-04-20 | 5.3 Medium |
| qt5-qtwebkit before 5.4 records private browsing URLs to its favicon database, WebpageIcons.db. | ||||
