CVSS v3.1 |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Java SE (component: Hotspot). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 8u481 and 8u481-b50; Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition: 21.3.17. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition executes to compromise Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability does not apply to Java deployments, typically in servers, that load and run only trusted code (e.g., code installed by an administrator). CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.0 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H). |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/fred: Correct speculative safety in fred_extint()
array_index_nospec() is no use if the result gets spilled to the stack, as
it makes the believed safe-under-speculation value subject to memory
predictions.
For all practical purposes, this means array_index_nospec() must be used in
the expression that accesses the array.
As the code currently stands, it's the wrong side of irqentry_enter(), and
'index' is put into %ebp across the function call.
Remove the index variable and reposition array_index_nospec(), so it's
calculated immediately before the array access. |
| A malicious, authenticated user in Aidex, versions prior to 1.7, could list credentials of other users, create or modify existing users in the application, list credentials of users in production or development environments. In addition, it would be possible to cause bugs that would result in the exfiltration of sensitive information, such as details about the software or internal system paths. These actions could be carried out through the misuse of LLM Prompt (chatbot) technology, via the /api/<string-chat>/message endpoint, by manipulating the contents of the ‘content’ parameter. |
| MariaDB Server 10.4 through 10.5.*, 10.6 through 10.6.*, 10.7 through 10.11.*, and 11.0 through 11.0.* can sometimes crash with an empty backtrace log. This may be related to make_aggr_tables_info and optimize_stage2. |
| MariaDB Server 10.4 through 10.5.*, 10.6 through 10.6.*, 10.7 through 10.11.*, 11.0 through 11.0.*, and 11.1 through 11.4.* crashes in Item_direct_view_ref::derived_field_transformer_for_where. |
| MariaDB Server 10.10 through 10.11.* and 11.0 through 11.4.* crashes in JOIN::fix_all_splittings_in_plan. |

x86/speculation: Fill RSB on vmexit for IBRS
Prevent RSB underflow/poisoning attacks with RSB. While at it, add a
bunch of comments to attempt to document the current state of tribal
knowledge about RSB attacks and what exactly is being mitigated. |
| Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to version 3.4.4 of the `stable` branch, version 3.5.0.beta5 of the `beta` branch, and version 3.5.0.beta6-dev of the `tests-passed` branch, Codepen is present in the default `allowed_iframes` site setting, and it can potentially auto-run arbitrary JS in the iframe scope, which is unintended. This issue is patched in version 3.4.4 of the `stable` branch, version 3.5.0.beta5 of the `beta` branch, and version 3.5.0.beta6-dev of the `tests-passed` branch. As a workaround, the Codepen prefix can be removed from a site's `allowed_iframes`. |
| Dell BIOS versions contain an Insecure Automated Optimization vulnerability. A local authenticated malicious user could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious input via SMI to obtain arbitrary code execution during SMM. |
| Trend Micro Antivirus One, version 3.10.4 and below contains a vulnerability that could allow an attacker to use a specifically crafted virus to allow itself to bypass and evade a virus scan detection. |
| Dell BIOS versions contain an Unchecked Return Value vulnerability. A local authenticated administrator user could potentially exploit this vulnerability in order to change the state of the system or cause unexpected failures. |
