CVE-2026-71488 1 Thephpleague 1 Commonmark 2026-08-07 7.5 High
league/commonmark is a PHP library for parsing and rendering CommonMark Markdown. From 0.6.0 until 2.9.0, specially crafted Markdown lines can cause the parser to have quadratic time complexity when converting, because several parsing paths repeatedly rescan growing portions of a line to translate between character positions and byte positions, and the Autolink extension can also copy and validate the remaining line at every URL-like prefix, allowing an attacker who can submit Markdown for conversion to consume disproportionate CPU time with a comparatively small request. This issue is fixed in 2.9.0.
CVE-2026-71439 1 Mermaid Project 1 Mermaid 2026-08-07 6.5 Medium
Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. From version 11.6.0 until 11.16.1, Mermaid Radar Diagrams allow arbitrary large values for the ticks parameter, which can cause high CPU usage and freeze the rendering webpage or JavaScript process for long periods of time, potentially until the process is killed from memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 11.16.1.
CVE-2024-56590 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-04 7.6 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Fix not checking skb length on hci_acldata_packet This fixes not checking if skb really contains an ACL header otherwise the code may attempt to access some uninitilized/invalid memory past the valid skb->data.
CVE-2024-35814 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: swiotlb: Fix double-allocation of slots due to broken alignment handling Commit bbb73a103fbb ("swiotlb: fix a braino in the alignment check fix"), which was a fix for commit 0eee5ae10256 ("swiotlb: fix slot alignment checks"), causes a functional regression with vsock in a virtual machine using bouncing via a restricted DMA SWIOTLB pool. When virtio allocates the virtqueues for the vsock device using dma_alloc_coherent(), the SWIOTLB search can return page-unaligned allocations if 'area->index' was left unaligned by a previous allocation from the buffer: # Final address in brackets is the SWIOTLB address returned to the caller | virtio-pci 0000:00:07.0: orig_addr 0x0 alloc_size 0x2000, iotlb_align_mask 0x800 stride 0x2: got slot 1645-1649/7168 (0x98326800) | virtio-pci 0000:00:07.0: orig_addr 0x0 alloc_size 0x2000, iotlb_align_mask 0x800 stride 0x2: got slot 1649-1653/7168 (0x98328800) | virtio-pci 0000:00:07.0: orig_addr 0x0 alloc_size 0x2000, iotlb_align_mask 0x800 stride 0x2: got slot 1653-1657/7168 (0x9832a800) This ends badly (typically buffer corruption and/or a hang) because swiotlb_alloc() is expecting a page-aligned allocation and so blindly returns a pointer to the 'struct page' corresponding to the allocation, therefore double-allocating the first half (2KiB slot) of the 4KiB page. Fix the problem by treating the allocation alignment separately to any additional alignment requirements from the device, using the maximum of the two as the stride to search the buffer slots and taking care to ensure a minimum of page-alignment for buffers larger than a page. This also resolves swiotlb allocation failures occuring due to the inclusion of ~PAGE_MASK in 'iotlb_align_mask' for large allocations and resulting in alignment requirements exceeding swiotlb_max_mapping_size().
CVE-2026-17501 2 Ggml, Ggml-org 2 Llama.cpp, Llama.cpp 2026-07-29 5.3 Medium
A flaw has been found in ggml-org llama.cpp e15efe0. This vulnerability affects the function transform of the file common/json-schema-to-grammar.cpp of the component JSON-Schema-to-GBNF Conversion. This manipulation causes uncontrolled recursion. The attack may be initiated remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.
CVE-2026-65624 2 Ninenines, Redhat 2 Cowboy, Hummingbird 2026-07-28 7.5 High
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ninenines cowboy allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust connection process memory over HTTP/1.1. The HTTP/1.1 handler in cowboy_http enforces the max_headers limit by counting the number of distinct header names in a map (maps:size(Headers)). When a request contains multiple header lines with the same name, the values are concatenated into a single ever-growing binary stored under that one map key (", " for regular headers, "; " for cookies), so the map size stays at one and the max_headers cap (default 100) is never reached. Because no accumulator bounds the total number of header lines or the total byte size of the header block (only per-line max_header_name_length and max_header_value_length apply), an unauthenticated client can send an arbitrary number of header lines with the same name and grow the connection process's binary memory to arbitrary size within the request window. The impact per connection is bounded by request_timeout (default 5 seconds, not reset by header data), and by max_heap_size when set (the offending connection process is killed once its heap grows past the limit). When max_heap_size is left at the default (unset), sustained abuse can drive the Erlang VM into out-of-memory conditions. This issue affects cowboy from 2.0.0-pre.4 before 2.18.0.
CVE-2026-48035 1 Kerberosmansour 1 Hulumi 2026-07-27 N/A
Hulumi is an open-source toolkit that ships secure-by-default cloud and platform infrastructure components for Pulumi. Prior to version 1.4.0, consumers using AccountFoundation could ship an AWS account whose CloudTrail / Config audit logs were deletable by any S3-delete-capable principal — while believing the startup-hardened tier guaranteed tamper-resistance. Sandbox-tier deployments had no audit immutability at all (defects 1 and 3 compounded). This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0.
CVE-2026-57962 1 Mozilla 1 Thunderbird 2026-07-21 5.3 Medium
A malicious LDAP server, which a Thunderbird user is configured to query for address-book autocomplete, can stash arbitrarily large amounts of attacker-supplied data into the Thunderbird LDAP client until it crashes due to memory exhaustion. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 152.0.1 and Thunderbird 140.12.1.
CVE-2026-59885 1 Pyasn1 1 Pyasn1 2026-07-17 7.5 High
pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.4, the BER, CER, and DER decoders process OBJECT IDENTIFIER and RELATIVE-OID values in quadratic time relative to the number of arcs, so a small crafted payload containing an OID with many arcs consumes excessive CPU per decode() call and can deny service to applications that decode untrusted ASN.1 data. The corresponding encoders have the same quadratic behavior when an application re-encodes previously decoded attacker-supplied values. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.4.
CVE-2026-59084 1 Apache 2 Apache Tomcat, Tomcat 2026-07-14 9.1 Critical
Insufficient Technical Documentation vulnerability in Apache Tomcat since the requirements to securely configure the EncryptInterceptor were not clearly documented. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.23, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.56, from 9.0.13 through 9.0.119, from 8.5.38 through 8.5.100, from 7.0.100 through 7.0.109. Other versions that have reached end of support may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.24, 10.1.57 or 9.0.120 which fix the issue.
CVE-2026-59937 2 Py-pdf, Pypdf Project 2 Pypdf, Pypdf 2026-07-10 7.5 High
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.14.0, an attacker can craft a PDF with repeated malformed cross-reference streams that cause pypdf to spend long runtimes recovering broken cross-reference table entries. This issue is fixed in version 6.14.0.
CVE-2026-54060 2 Python, Python-pillow 2 Pillow, Pillow 2026-07-07 7.5 High
Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 12.3.0, PIL/FontFile.py FontFile.compile() assembled per-glyph images into a combined bitmap with Image.new("1", (xsize, ysize)) without calling Image._decompression_bomb_check(), allowing a font to trigger excessive allocation during conversion or saving. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0.
CVE-2026-14650 1 Connorskees 1 Grass 2026-07-06 3.3 Low
A flaw has been found in connorskees grass up to 0.13.4. The affected element is the function grass_compiler::raw_to_parse_error of the component UTF-8 Character Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to denial of service. The attack is restricted to local execution. The exploit has been published and may be used. In Issue #117 with similar structure the project maintainer explains: "DoS vulnerabilities are generally fine in Sass compilers -- they are trivially possible with recursive functions, infinite loops, nested mixins, etc. The description here is wrong. Compile time is not expected to be linear relative to the input, and the @extend algorithm is definitionally exponential."
CVE-2026-45822 1 Samverschueren 1 Decode-uri-component 2026-07-01 7.5 High
decode-uri-component through 0.4.1 is vulnerable to denial of service. The decode() function splits input on '%' producing N tokens and calls decodeComponents(), exhibiting super-linear parsing time: 200 '%ab' tokens takes approximately 0.7s, 700 tokens approximately 6s, and 1400 tokens approximately 33s. An attacker can cause significant CPU consumption and event-loop blocking via crafted input.
CVE-2025-32907 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s, Rhel Eus 2026-06-30 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in libsoup. The implementation of HTTP range requests is vulnerable to a resource consumption attack. This flaw allows a malicious client to request the same range many times in a single HTTP request, causing the server to use large amounts of memory. This does not allow for a full denial of service.
CVE-2026-13311 2 Ljharb, Shell-quote Project 2 Shell-quote, Shell-quote 2026-06-25 7.5 High
shell-quote prior to 1.8.5 finalizes parsed tokens in parse() using Array.prototype.concat as a reduce accumulator, which reallocates and copies the entire growing array on every iteration. As a result parse() runs in O(n^2) time relative to the number of input tokens. An attacker who can supply an attacker-controlled string to any code path that calls parse() (no shell metacharacters are required; plain space-separated words suffice) can block the single-threaded Node.js event loop for an extended period with a small input, resulting in a denial of service. There is no code execution or data disclosure; impact is to availability only. Fixed in 1.8.5.
CVE-2026-50193 1 Fasterxml 1 Jackson-databind 2026-06-24 7.5 High
jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, a potential Denial-of-Service exists when attacker sends deeply nested JSON if (and only if) the service reads deeply nested (1000s of levels) JSON as JsonNode (ObjectMapper.readTree()) and writes out same (or modifided) node using JsonNode.toString(). This can consume significant amount of resources with concurrent relatively small requests (1000 nested arrays is 2kB). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.14.0.
CVE-2026-46152 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-09 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: drop stray 'static' from fast-RX rx_result ieee80211_invoke_fast_rx() is documented as safe for parallel RX, but its per-invocation rx_result is declared static. Concurrent callers then share one instance and can overwrite each other's result between ieee80211_rx_mesh_data() and the switch on res. That can make a packet that was queued or consumed by ieee80211_rx_mesh_data() fall through into ieee80211_rx_8023(), or make a packet that should continue return as queued. Make res an automatic variable so each invocation keeps its own result.
CVE-2026-44390 1 Nlnetlabs 1 Unbound 2026-05-20 5.3 Medium
NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.25.0 has a vulnerability when handling replies with very large RRsets that Unbound needs to perform name compression for. Malicious upstream responses with very large RRsets with records that don't share a suffix above the root can cause Unbound to spend a considerable time applying name compression to downstream replies. This can lead to degraded performance and eventually denial of service in well orchestrated attacks. An adversary can exploit the vulnerability by querying Unbound for the specially crafted contents of a malicious zone with very large RRsets. Before Unbound replies to the query it will try to apply name compression which was an unbounded operation that could lock the CPU until the whole packet was complete. A compression limit was introduced in 1.21.1 for this but it didn't account for the case where records would not share any suffix above the root. That causes Unbound to go in a different code path because of the compression tree lookup failure and eventually not increment the compression counter for those operations. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix that increments the compression counter regardless of the compression tree lookup. This is a complement fix to CVE-2024-8508.
CVE-2024-26891 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Don't issue ATS Invalidation request when device is disconnected For those endpoint devices connect to system via hotplug capable ports, users could request a hot reset to the device by flapping device's link through setting the slot's link control register, as pciehp_ist() DLLSC interrupt sequence response, pciehp will unload the device driver and then power it off. thus cause an IOMMU device-TLB invalidation (Intel VT-d spec, or ATS Invalidation in PCIe spec r6.1) request for non-existence target device to be sent and deadly loop to retry that request after ITE fault triggered in interrupt context.
