CVSS v3.1 |
| A maliciously crafted RFA file, when parsed through Autodesk Revit, can force a Type Confusion vulnerability. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, cause data corruption, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. |
| Type Confusion in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 142.0.7444.175 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Permission control vulnerability in the memory management module.
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect confidentiality. |
| Permission control vulnerability in the distributed component.
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect service confidentiality. |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker may cause the visualisation server of the CODESYS Control runtime system to access a resource with a pointer of wrong type, potentially leading to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |
| SuiteCRM versions prior to 7.12.6 contain a type confusion vulnerability within the processing of the ‘module’ parameter within the ‘deleteAttachment’ functionality. Successful exploitation allows remote unauthenticated attackers to alter database objects including changing the email address of the administrator. |
| Incorrect handling of __proto__ mutations may lead to type confusion in IonMonkey JIT code and can be leveraged for arbitrary memory read and write. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 66.0.1, Firefox ESR < 60.6.1, and Thunderbird < 60.6.1. |
| A vulnerability in register allocation in JavaScript can lead to type confusion, allowing for an arbitrary read and write. This leads to remote code execution inside the sandboxed content process when triggered. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.2.2 and Firefox < 62.0.3. |
| The type inference system allows the compilation of functions that can cause type confusions between arbitrary objects when compiled through the IonMonkey just-in-time (JIT) compiler and when the constructor function is entered through on-stack replacement (OSR). This allows for possible arbitrary reading and writing of objects during an exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.6, Firefox ESR < 60.6, and Firefox < 66. |
| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Windows Defender Firewall Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |

| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Windows Defender Firewall Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Graphics Kernel allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| A flaw was found in the exsltFuncResultComp() function of libxslt, which handles EXSLT <func:result> elements during stylesheet parsing. Due to improper type handling, the function may treat an XML document node as a regular XML element node, resulting in a type confusion. This can cause unexpected memory reads and potential crashes. While difficult to exploit, the flaw could lead to application instability or denial of service. |
| Type Confusion in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 129.0.6668.100 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| A Type Confusion vulnerability was found in Samba's mdssvc RPC service for Spotlight. When parsing Spotlight mdssvc RPC packets, one encoded data structure is a key-value style dictionary where the keys are character strings, and the values can be any of the supported types in the mdssvc protocol. Due to a lack of type checking in callers of the dalloc_value_for_key() function, which returns the object associated with a key, a caller may trigger a crash in talloc_get_size() when talloc detects that the passed-in pointer is not a valid talloc pointer. With an RPC worker process shared among multiple client connections, a malicious client or attacker can trigger a process crash in a shared RPC mdssvc worker process, affecting all other clients this worker serves. |

| Type Confusion in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 142.0.7444.59 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
