CVE-2026-67422 1 Facelessuser 1 Pymdown Extensions 2026-08-07 7.5 High
pymdown-extensions is a collection of extensions for the Python Markdown library. In versions up to and including 11.0, four inline processors (caret, tilde, betterem, and magiclink) use regular expressions whose content groups can partition a run of delimiter characters in exponentially many ways, causing catastrophic backtracking. As a result, a single untrusted Markdown line under 50 bytes rendered with markdown.markdown() in each extension's default configuration drives the rendering thread into unbounded CPU usage that grows exponentially with input length, enabling an unauthenticated remote attacker who can submit Markdown to cause denial of service. The exposure is concrete for web applications that render user-supplied Markdown (comments, wikis, issue bodies, live preview), including any app using pymdownx.extra which bundles the vulnerable betterem default, as well as hosted docs/CI systems that build untrusted Markdown. The issue has been fixed in version 11.0.1.
CVE-2026-15734 1 Wgdashboard 1 Wgdashboard 2026-08-07 9.8 Critical
A Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability in WGDashboard version 4.3.2 and earlier, allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code as root.
CVE-2026-71436 1 Mermaid Project 1 Mermaid 2026-08-07 7.5 High
Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. From version 10.6.0 until 10.9.8 and 11.16.1, Mermaid XY Charts are vulnerable to an infinite loop denial of service in the setXAxisRangeData function when configuring an X-Axis with invalid parameters. Because each loop iteration appends an element to an array, this generally causes a RangeError to appear after a few seconds, but it may instead cause the page or JavaScript process to crash from memory exhaustion, depending on the environment. This issue is fixed in versions 10.9.8 and 11.16.1.
CVE-2026-71438 1 Mermaid Project 1 Mermaid 2026-08-07 4.0 Medium
Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. Prior to 10.9.8 and 11.16.1, Mermaid's configuration setters (mermaid.initialize, mermaidAPI.setConfig, and mermaidAPI.updateSiteConfig) merge caller-supplied configuration into Mermaid's internal config using the assignWithDepth deep-merge helper, which is vulnerable to prototype pollution. This is only exploitable if an application forwards untrusted data directly into one of these configuration entry points, which is outside their documented usage; diagram-supplied configuration (e.g. %%{init: {}}%% or YAML frontmatter) is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 10.9.8 and 11.16.1.
CVE-2026-42169 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-07 7.3 High
A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the APNG (Animated PNG) file loader of GIMP. This flaw occurs when the `fcTL` width exceeds the `IHDR` width, leading to pixel data being written past the end of a heap allocation. Additionally, a heap-based buffer overflow exists in the DDS plug-in due to a BPP mismatch in the `load_layer()` function. Both vulnerabilities can be triggered by opening a specially crafted image file, potentially leading to code execution.
CVE-2026-66373 1 Redis 1 Redis 2026-08-07 7.5 High
Redis before 8.8.0, in the unusual case where an authenticated attacker can execute RESTORE, allows remote code execution via a RESTORE payload where the same NACK (pending entry) is referenced by more than one consumer, because deleting both consumers via XGROUP DELCONSUMER leads to a double free. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-25243.
CVE-2026-70610 1 Electron 1 Electron 2026-08-06 5.4 Medium
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.4, objects copied across the contextBridge boundary from untrusted content could carry an attacker-influenced prototype, enabling prototype-pollution-style attacks against preload code despite context isolation being enabled. Apps are only affected if their preload code accepts object arguments from untrusted content and reads properties from them without own-property checks, while apps that only accept primitive arguments or validate object arguments are not affected. This issue is fixed in 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.4.
CVE-2026-71190 1 Openstack 1 Swift 2026-08-06 7.5 High
In OpenStack Swift through 2.38.0, the proxy server Accept header parser contains a regular expression vulnerable to catastrophic backtracking (ReDoS). The "qdtext" pattern (?:[^"]|\\.)* allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to send a crafted Accept header that causes exponential CPU consumption in the proxy worker. A payload of 32 backslash-character pairs exceeds 30 seconds of CPU time. No authentication is required. Repeated requests can exhaust all proxy worker threads, resulting in a complete denial of service.
CVE-2026-14574 1 Eclipse 1 Theia 2026-08-05 6.5 Medium
In Eclipse Theia versions 0.7.0 and up until including 1.73.1, the `PreferenceUtils.merge` function in `@theia/core` recursively merges preference values without rejecting prototype-related keys (`__proto__`, `constructor`, `prototype`). Because this function is invoked by `PreferenceServiceImpl.doResolve` for every preference resolution across scopes (default, user, workspace, folder), a crafted preference value in a workspace settings file (`.theia/settings.json` or `.vscode/settings.json`) can pollute `Object.prototype` when the user opens the workspace, potentially altering application logic across the Theia process.
CVE-2026-16266 1 Longshotlabs 1 Mongo-object 2026-08-05 4 Medium
Versions of the package mongo-object before 3.0.3 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution via the expandKey() function in util.js. An attacker can modify the JavaScript prototype chain by supplying a crafted property path containing special keys such as __proto__.
CVE-2026-47619 2 Linux, Nvidia 2 Linux Kernel, Dynamo 2026-08-05 6.6 Medium
NVIDIA Dynamo for Linux examples and recipes contain a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a system failure. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, data tampering, denial of service, and information disclosure.
CVE-2026-48323 3 Adobe, Linux, Microsoft 4 Campaign, Campaign Classic, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2026-08-05 10 Critical
Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC) is affected by an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed.
CVE-2026-16504 1 Vps.org 1 Zulip Template 2026-08-04 9.8 Critical
Deployment of the VPS.org one-click Zulip template deploys a hardcoded application signing key, a default database password ("zulip"), and DISABLE_HTTPS=True.
CVE-2026-69198 1 Beaugunderson 1 Ip-address 2026-08-04 5.3 Medium
ip-address is a library for parsing and manipulating IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in JavaScript. From 10.1.1 until 10.2.2, every special-use classification method is built on isInSubnet, which short-circuits to false whenever the address's own subnet mask is shorter than the reference range's mask. That mask comes verbatim from the CIDR suffix on the parsed input, so appending a suffix such as /0 suppresses classification entirely: isLoopback(), isPrivate(), isLinkLocal(), isCGNAT(), isMulticast(), isUnspecified(), isBroadcast(), isULA(), and getType() all report an internal address as unremarkable, while correctForm() and address still return the real internal target. An application that builds a network trust-boundary decision on these checks, for example a filter intended to block Server-Side Request Forgery, or SSRF, may therefore treat an internal target as external and allow the request. The underlying bit comparison is correct, and mask(n) already returns the first n bits of the full parsed address independently of subnetMask; the defect is solely that the containment guard sits in the classification path. This issue is fixed in version 10.2.2.
CVE-2026-69192 2 Beaugunderson, Redhat 2 Ip-address, Hummingbird 2026-08-04 8.6 High
ip-address is a library for parsing and manipulating IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in JavaScript. Prior to 10.3.1, Address4 accepts an octet written with a leading zero and decodes it as decimal, while the WHATWG URL host parser, inet_aton, and getaddrinfo all decode a leading zero as octal. The library and the network stack therefore disagree about which host a string names. new Address4('012.0.0.1') reports correctForm() of 12.0.0.1 and isPrivate() of false, but fetch('http://012.0.0.1/') connects to 10.0.0.1. An application that builds a network trust-boundary decision on these checks, for example a filter intended to block Server-Side Request Forgery, or SSRF, will classify an internal target as external and allow the request. The defect is in the parse gate rather than in any one classifier, so every consumer of Address4 inherits it: isPrivate(), isLoopback(), isLinkLocal(), isCGNAT(), isInSubnet(), isHostInSubnet(), and correctForm() are all computed from the mis-decoded octets. This issue is fixed in version 10.3.1.
CVE-2026-17802 1 Google 2 Android, Chrome 2026-08-04 4.3 Medium
Side-channel information leakage in GPU in Google Chrome on Android prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2024-58099 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-08-04 8.6 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vmxnet3: Fix packet corruption in vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_frame Andrew and Nikolay reported connectivity issues with Cilium's service load-balancing in case of vmxnet3. If a BPF program for native XDP adds an encapsulation header such as IPIP and transmits the packet out the same interface, then in case of vmxnet3 a corrupted packet is being sent and subsequently dropped on the path. vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_frame() which is called e.g. via vmxnet3_run_xdp() through vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_back() calculates an incorrect DMA address: page = virt_to_page(xdpf->data); tbi->dma_addr = page_pool_get_dma_addr(page) + VMXNET3_XDP_HEADROOM; dma_sync_single_for_device(&adapter->pdev->dev, tbi->dma_addr, buf_size, DMA_TO_DEVICE); The above assumes a fixed offset (VMXNET3_XDP_HEADROOM), but the XDP BPF program could have moved xdp->data. While the passed buf_size is correct (xdpf->len), the dma_addr needs to have a dynamic offset which can be calculated as xdpf->data - (void *)xdpf, that is, xdp->data - xdp->data_hard_start.
CVE-2024-57843 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-04 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio-net: fix overflow inside virtnet_rq_alloc When the frag just got a page, then may lead to regression on VM. Specially if the sysctl net.core.high_order_alloc_disable value is 1, then the frag always get a page when do refill. Which could see reliable crashes or scp failure (scp a file 100M in size to VM). The issue is that the virtnet_rq_dma takes up 16 bytes at the beginning of a new frag. When the frag size is larger than PAGE_SIZE, everything is fine. However, if the frag is only one page and the total size of the buffer and virtnet_rq_dma is larger than one page, an overflow may occur. The commit f9dac92ba908 ("virtio_ring: enable premapped mode whatever use_dma_api") introduced this problem. And we reverted some commits to fix this in last linux version. Now we try to enable it and fix this bug directly. Here, when the frag size is not enough, we reduce the buffer len to fix this problem.
CVE-2024-50246 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: Add rough attr alloc_size check
CVE-2024-50090 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/oa: Fix overflow in oa batch buffer By default xe_bb_create_job() appends a MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END to batch buffer, this is not a problem if batch buffer is only used once but oa reuses the batch buffer for the same metric and at each call it appends a MI_BATCH_BUFFER_END, printing the warning below and then overflowing.
