CVSS v3.1 |
| PowSyBl (Power System Blocks) is a framework to build power system oriented software. Prior to version 6.7.2, in certain places, powsybl-core XML parsing is vulnerable to an XML external entity (XXE) attack and to a server-side request forgery (SSRF) attack. This allows an attacker to elevate their privileges to read files that they do not have permissions to, including sensitive files on the system. The vulnerable class is com.powsybl.commons.xml.XmlReader which is considered to be untrusted in use cases where untrusted users can submit their XML to the vulnerable methods. This can be a multi-tenant application that hosts many different users perhaps with different privilege levels. This issue has been patched in com.powsybl:powsybl-commons: 6.7.2. |
| The HTMLSectionSplitter class in langchain-text-splitters version 0.3.8 is vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) attacks due to unsafe XSLT parsing. This vulnerability arises because the class allows the use of arbitrary XSLT stylesheets, which are parsed using lxml.etree.parse() and lxml.etree.XSLT() without any hardening measures. In lxml versions up to 4.9.x, external entities are resolved by default, allowing attackers to read arbitrary local files or perform outbound HTTP(S) fetches. In lxml versions 5.0 and above, while entity expansion is disabled, the XSLT document() function can still read any URI unless XSLTAccessControl is applied. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to gain read-only access to any file the LangChain process can reach, including sensitive files such as SSH keys, environment files, source code, or cloud metadata. No authentication, special privileges, or user interaction are required, and the issue is exploitable in default deployments that enable custom XSLT. |
| Using Codex CLI in workspace-write mode inside a malicious context (repo, directory, etc) could lead to arbitrary file overwrite and potentially remote code execution due to symlinks being followed outside the allowed current working directory. |
| A
CWE-611: Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference vulnerability exists that could
cause manipulation of SOAP API calls and XML external entities injection resulting in unauthorized file access
when the server is accessed via the network using an application account. |
| Due to missing validation of XML input, an unauthenticated attacker could send malicious input to an endpoint which leads to XML Entity Expansion attack. This causes limited impact on availability of the application. |
| astral-tokio-tar is a tar archive reading/writing library for async Rust. In versions 0.5.3 and earlier of astral-tokio-tar, tar archives may extract outside of their intended destination directory when using the Entry::unpack_in_raw API. Additionally, the Entry::allow_external_symlinks control (which defaults to true) could be bypassed via a pair of symlinks that individually point within the destination but combine to point outside of it. These behaviors could be used individually or combined to bypass the intended security control of limiting extraction to the given directory. This in turn would allow an attacker with a malicious tar archive to perform an arbitrary file write and potentially pivot into code execution. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.4. There is no workaround other than upgrading. |
| atop through 2.11.0 allows local users to cause a denial of service (e.g., assertion failure and application exit) or possibly have unspecified other impact by running certain types of unprivileged processes while a different user runs atop. |
| Airlink's Daemon interfaces with Docker and the Panel to provide secure access for controlling instances via the Panel. In version 1.0.0, an attacker with access to the affected container can create symbolic links inside the mounted directory (/app/data). Because the container bind-mounts an arbitrary host path, these symlinks can point to sensitive locations on the host filesystem. When the application or other processes follow these symlinks, the attacker can gain unauthorized read access to host files outside the container. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.1. |
| veraPDF is an open source PDF/A validation library. Executing policy checks using custom schematron files via the CLI invokes an XSL transformation that may theoretically lead to a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability. This doesn't affect the standard validation and policy checks functionality, veraPDF's common use cases. Most veraPDF users don't insert any custom XSLT code into policy profiles, which are based on Schematron syntax rather than direct XSL transforms. For users who do, only load custom policy files from sources you trust. This issue has not yet been patched. Users are advised to be cautious of XSLT code until a patch is available. |
| In Jasper 4.2.2, the jpc_streamlist_remove function in src/libjasper/jpc/jpc_dec.c:2407 has an assertion failure vulnerability, allowing attackers to cause a denial of service attack through a specific image file. |
| Session Hijacking vulnerability in Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer. This issue affects Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer: from 10.0.0-00 before 11.0.1-00.
|
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in crmeb_java up to 1.3.4. Affected by this issue is the function webHook of the file WeChatMessageController.java. The manipulation leads to xml external entity reference. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| unstructured v.0.14.2 and before is vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) via the XMLParser. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in COMOS V10.3 (All versions < V10.3.3.5.8), COMOS V10.4.0 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.1 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.2 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.3 (All versions < V10.4.3.0.47), COMOS V10.4.4 (All versions < V10.4.4.2), COMOS V10.4.4.1 (All versions < V10.4.4.1.21). The PDMS/E3D Engineering Interface improperly handles XML External Entity (XXE) entries when communicating with an external application. This could allow an attacker to extract any file with a known location on the user's system or accessible network folders by injecting malicious data into the communication channel between the two systems. |
| Kivitendo before 3.9.2 allows XXE injection. By uploading an electronic invoice in the ZUGFeRD format, it is possible to read and exfiltrate files from the server's filesystem. |
| External XML entity injection allows arbitrary download of files. The
score without least privilege principle violation is as calculated
below. In combination with other issues it may facilitate further
compromise of the device. Remediation in Version 6.8.0, release date:
01-Mar-25. |
| This vulnerability exists in Digisol DG-GR6821AC Router due to misconfiguration of both Secure and HttpOnly flags on session cookies associated with the router web interface. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by capturing the session cookies transmitted over an unsecure HTTP connection.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information from the targeted device. |
| Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) prior to 8.0 Initial Release (rev. 141212) and Content Management System (CMS) prior to 7.2 Update-3 (rev. 141226) and prior to 7.5 Update-1 (rev. 150130) contain a vulnerability that may allow an attacker to download files under the web root of the site when the name of the file is already known via a specially-crafted URL. Affected files do not include .config, .aspx or .cs files. The issue does not allow for directory browsing. |
| `@digitalbazaar/zcap` provides JavaScript reference implementation for Authorization Capabilities. Prior to version 9.0.1, when invoking a capability with a chain depth of 2, i.e., it is delegated directly from the root capability, the `expires` property is not properly checked against the current date or other `date` param. This can allow invocations outside of the original intended time period. A zcap still cannot be invoked without being able to use the associated private key material. `@digitalbazaar/zcap` v9.0.1 fixes expiration checking. As a workaround, one may revoke a zcap at any time. |
| We found a vulnerability Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference (CWE-611) in NB-series NX-Designer. Attackers may be able to abuse this vulnerability to disclose confidential data on a computer. |
