CVSS v3.1 |
In Moodle 2.x and 3.x, text injection can occur in email headers, potentially leading to outbound spam.
api.php in MediaWiki before 1.27.4, 1.28.x before 1.28.3, and 1.29.x before 1.29.2 has a Reflected File Download vulnerability.
An issue was discovered on Mimosa Client Radios before 2.2.3 and Mimosa Backhaul Radios before 2.2.3. In the device's web interface, after logging in, there is a page that allows you to ping other hosts from the device and view the results. The user is allowed to specify which host to ping, but this variable is not sanitized server-side, which allows an attacker to pass a specially crafted string to execute shell commands as the root user.
In Wireshark 2.2.0 to 2.2.5 and 2.0.0 to 2.0.11, the IMAP dissector could crash, triggered by packet injection or a malformed capture file. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-imap.c by calculating a line's end correctly.
The Sametime WebPlayer 8.5.2 and 9.0 is vulnerable to a script injection where a malicious site can inject their own script by exploiting a vulnerability in the way that the WebPlayer works. IBM X-Force ID: 113993.
system/libraries/Email.php in CodeIgniter before 3.1.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging control over the email->from field to insert sendmail command-line arguments.
An improper access control vulnerability in synodsmnotify in Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) before 6.1.4-15217 and before 6.0.3-8754-6 allows local users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the -fn option.
In Apache Synapse, by default no authentication is required for Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI). So Apache Synapse 3.0.1 or all previous releases (3.0.0, 2.1.0, 2.0.0, 1.2, 1.1.2, 1.1.1) allows remote code execution attacks that can be performed by injecting specially crafted serialized objects. And the presence of Apache Commons Collections 3.2.1 (commons-collections-3.2.1.jar) or previous versions in Synapse distribution makes this exploitable. To mitigate the issue, we need to limit RMI access to trusted users only. Further upgrading to 3.0.1 version will eliminate the risk of having said Commons Collection version. In Synapse 3.0.1, Commons Collection has been updated to 3.2.2 version.
Biscom Secure File Transfer is vulnerable to AngularJS expression injection in the Display Name field. An authenticated user can populate this field with a valid AngularJS expression, wrapped in double curly-braces ({{ }}). This expression will be evaluated by any other authenticated user who views the attacker's display name. Affected versions are 5.0.0000 through 5.1.1026. The Issue is fixed in 5.1.1028.
jarsigner in OpenJDK and Oracle Java SE before 7u51 allows remote attackers to bypass a code-signing protection mechanism and inject unsigned bytecode into a signed JAR file by leveraging improper file validation.
Magento CE and EE before 2.0.6 allows remote attackers to conduct PHP objection injection attacks and execute arbitrary PHP code via crafted serialized shopping cart data.
An exploitable HTTP Header Injection vulnerability exists in the Web Application functionality of the Moxa AWK-3131A Wireless Access Point running firmware 1.1. A specially crafted HTTP request can inject a payload in the bkpath parameter which will be copied in to Location header of the HTTP response.
Huawei SmartCare V200R003C10 has a CSV injection vulnerability. An remote authenticated attacker could inject malicious CSV expression to the affected device.
An issue was discovered on Mimosa Client Radios before 2.2.4 and Mimosa Backhaul Radios before 2.2.4. On the backend of the device's web interface, there are some diagnostic tests available that are not displayed on the webpage; these are only accessible by crafting a POST request with a program like cURL. There is one test accessible via cURL that does not properly sanitize user input, allowing an attacker to execute shell commands as the root user.
The einj_error_inject function in drivers/acpi/apei/einj.c in the Linux kernel allows local users to simulate hardware errors and consequently cause a denial of service by leveraging failure to disable APEI error injection through EINJ when securelevel is set.
delphi_gui/WWWBrowserRunnerDM.pas in PasDoc 0.14 does not validate strings before launching the program specified by the BROWSER environment variable, which might allow remote attackers to conduct argument-injection attacks via a crafted URL. NOTE: a software maintainer has indicated that the code referencing the BROWSER environment variable is never used
AnyDesk before 3.6.1 on Windows has a DLL injection vulnerability.
The Helpdesk Pro plugin before 1.4.0 for Joomla! allows remote attackers to write to arbitrary .ini files via a crafted language.save task.
Lib/webbrowser.py in Python through 3.6.3 does not validate strings before launching the program specified by the BROWSER environment variable, which might allow remote attackers to conduct argument-injection attacks via a crafted URL. NOTE: a software maintainer indicates that exploitation is impossible because the code relies on subprocess.Popen and the default shell=False setting
| The lazy_initialize function in lib/resolv.rb in Ruby through 2.4.3 uses Kernel#open, which might allow Command Injection attacks, as demonstrated by a Resolv::Hosts::new argument beginning with a '|' character, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-17405. NOTE: situations with untrusted input may be highly unlikely. |
