CVSS v3.1 |
| File::Find::Rule through 0.34 for Perl is vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Execution when `grep()` encounters a crafted filename.
A file handle is opened with the 2 argument form of `open()` allowing an attacker controlled filename to provide the MODE parameter to `open()`, turning the filename into a command to be executed.
Example:
$ mkdir /tmp/poc; echo > "/tmp/poc/|id"
$ perl -MFile::Find::Rule \
-E 'File::Find::Rule->grep("foo")->in("/tmp/poc")'
uid=1000(user) gid=1000(user) groups=1000(user),100(users) |
| Openfiler v2.x contains a command injection vulnerability in the system.html page. The device parameter is used to instantiate a NetworkCard object, whose constructor in network.inc calls exec() with unsanitized input. An authenticated attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary commands as the openfiler user. Due to misconfigured sudoers, the openfiler user can escalate privileges to root via sudo /bin/bash without a password. |
| A command injection is possible through the user interface, allowing arbitrary command execution as
the root user. oMG2000 running MGOS 3.15.1 or earlier is affected.
MG90 running MGOS 4.2.1 or earlier is affected. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command ('OS Command Injection') issue exists in +F FS010M versions prior to V2.0.0_1101. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary OS command may be executed by a remote authenticated attacker with an administrative privilege. |
| Authenticated Remote Code Execution in Altalink, Versalink & WorkCentre Products. |
| An issue in the component ATSZIO64.sys of ASUSTeK Computer Inc ASUS ATSZIO Driver v0.2.1.7 allows attackers to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code via sending crafted IOCTL requests. |
| An issue in the component AsusBSItf.sys of ASUSTeK Computer Inc ASUS BIOS Flash Driver v3.2.12.0 allows attackers to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code via sending crafted IOCTL requests. |
| Server information leak for the CDA Server process memory can occur when an error is generated in response to a specially crafted message. See Honeywell Security Notification for recommendations on upgrading and versioning. |
| Rizin is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. `rizin.c` still had an old snippet of code which suffered a command injection due the usage of `rz_core_cmdf` to invoke the command `m` which was removed in v0.1.x. A malicious binary defining `bclass` (part of RzBinInfo) is executed if `rclass` (part of RzBinInfo) is set to `fs`; the vulnerability can be exploited by any bin format where `bclass` and `rclass` are user defined. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.7.4. |
| exec.CommandContext in Chaosblade 0.3 through 1.7.3, when server mode is used, allows OS command execution via the cmd parameter without authentication. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in Newtec/iDirect NTC2218, NTC2250, NTC2299 on Linux, PowerPC, ARM allows Local Code Inclusion.This issue affects NTC2218, NTC2250, NTC2299: from 1.0.1.1 through 2.2.6.19.
The `commit_multicast` page used to configure multicasts in the modem's web administration interface uses improperly parses incoming data from the request before passing it to an `eval` statement in a bash script. This allows attackers to inject arbitrary shell commands. |
| A vulnerability was found in Fujian Kelixun 1.0. It has been classified as critical. This affects an unknown part of the file /app/fax/fax_view.php of the component Filename Handler. The manipulation of the argument fax_file leads to os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The ns_backup extension through 13.0.2 for TYPO3 allows command injection. |
| Erlang/OTP is a set of libraries for the Erlang programming language. Prior to versions OTP-27.3.1, 26.2.5.10, and 25.3.2.19, a maliciously formed KEX init message can result with high memory usage. Implementation does not verify RFC specified limits on algorithm names (64 characters) provided in KEX init message. Big KEX init packet may lead to inefficient processing of the error data. As a result, large amount of memory will be allocated for processing malicious data. Versions OTP-27.3.1, OTP-26.2.5.10, and OTP-25.3.2.19 fix the issue. Some workarounds are available. One may set option `parallel_login` to `false` and/or reduce the `max_sessions` option. |
| A command injection vulnerability in Dahua EIMS versions prior to 2240008 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary system commands via the capture_handle.action interface. The flaw stems from improper input validation in the captureCommand parameter, which is processed without sanitization or authentication. By sending crafted HTTP requests, attackers can inject OS-level commands that are executed on the server, leading to full system compromise. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-04-06 UTC. |
| The authenticated firmware update capability of the firmware for Mennekes Smart / Premium Chargingpoints can be abused for command execution because OS command are improperly neutralized when certain fields are passed to the underlying OS. |
| Out-of-bounds write for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access. |
| The iSherlock developed by HGiga has an OS Command Injection vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to inject arbitrary OS commands and execute them on the server. |
| An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the affected device's web interface can execute any system command via the "msg_events.php" script as the www-data user. The HTTP GET parameter "data" is not properly sanitized. |
| An insufficient bounds check in PMFW (Power Management Firmware) may allow an attacker to utilize a malicious VF (virtualization function) to send a malformed message, potentially resulting in a denial of service. |
