| Multiple Cisco products are affected by vulnerabilities in the Snort 3 VBA feature that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash.
These vulnerabilities are due to improper error checking when decompressing VBA data. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by sending crafted VBA data to the Snort 3 Detection Engine on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to unexpectedly restart, causing a DoS condition. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in itsourcecode Online Public Access Catalog OPAC 1.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file mysearch.php of the component POST Parameter Handler. Such manipulation of the argument search_field/search_text leads to sql injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. |
| The Kirki WordPress plugin before 6.2.3 does not properly validate the files contained in archives uploaded by users with the Editor role, and does not remove all unwanted files after extracting them, allowing such users to upload arbitrary files to a web accessible directory, leading to Stored XSS as well as RCE on some server configurations. |
| The GutenKit WordPress plugin before 2.5.0 does not sanitise uploaded SVG files on all of the upload paths it enables, allowing users with the file upload capability, such as Author, to upload a malicious SVG and perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks against any user opening it, including administrators. |
| Renovate versions from 39.218.0 before 40.33.0 contain an arbitrary command injection vulnerability in the kustomize manager where user-provided chart names are appended to helm pull commands without proper sanitization. Attackers with repository write access can craft malicious kustomization.yaml files with specially crafted chart names to execute arbitrary commands on the Renovate host machine. |
| Renovate versions from 32.135.0 before 40.33.0 contain a command injection vulnerability in the hermit manager where user-provided dependency names are appended to install and uninstall commands without proper sanitization. Attackers with repository write access can provide maliciously named hermit dependencies to execute arbitrary commands on the machine running Renovate. |
| Renovate versions >=32.124.0 and before 42.68.5 (and Mend renovate-ce/renovate-ee before 13.3.0) contain a command injection vulnerability in Gradle Wrapper artifact handling. When Renovate processes Gradle Wrapper updates, it invokes a wrapper update command via a shell (e.g. /bin/sh -c ... ./gradlew :wrapper --gradle-distribution-url <value>). If an attacker supplies a malicious gradle-wrapper.properties whose distributionUrl contains shell command substitution syntax such as $(...), the shell evaluates it before Gradle parses the URL, resulting in arbitrary command execution in the Renovate runtime. Exploitation requires the attacker to introduce the malicious file into a repository that Renovate scans; the issue occurs even when allowScripts is disabled. |
| SiYuan before v3.7.4 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the file-tree picker's hover-tooltip generation (app/src/util/pathName.ts, getLeaf()/movePathTo()) used by the 'move/link to' path-selection dialogs, where document metadata fields (bookmark, alias, memo, and an alternate name field) are concatenated into the aria-label HTML attribute without escaping. A document crafted with a double quote in any of these fields breaks out of the attribute context and injects arbitrary HTML attributes including inline event handlers (e.g., onmouseover). Because every SiYuan Electron BrowserWindow runs with nodeIntegration:true, contextIsolation:false, and no CSP, the injected handler gains require('child_process') access, escalating the XSS to arbitrary OS command execution when a victim merely hovers over the malicious document entry in the path-picker dialog. Malicious documents reach victims via sharing, sync, or import. |
| Grav Shortcode Core Plugin allows for the development shortcode plugins that utilize the common format utilized by WordPress and BBCode. Prior to 6.2.2, Grav Shortcode Core passes shortcode syntax through Security::detectXss() because it contains no literal less-than character, then ColorShortcode.php and related attribute handlers concatenate an attacker-controlled parameter into HTML without encoding. An account with admin.pages permission can close the generated attribute and add an event handler, creating stored cross-site scripting that executes for visitors or administrators who view the page. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.2. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco Secure Workload engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20231 are related to improper neutralization of special elements issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) CWE-74. |
| In FireAMP versions below 2.1.15, a user who holds a role that can edit, create, or run playbooks in Splunk SOAR could run the add listitem action in a Safe Mode playbook while that action is listed as read-only, which could allow for unauthorized changes to file lists. The vulnerability is possible because the FireAMP connector action manifest classifies the add listitem action as read-only even though the action updates file lists. For more information see Manage settings for a playbook in Splunk SOAR (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-cloud/build-playbooks/manage-playbooks-and-playbook-settings/manage-settings-for-a-playbook-in-splunk-soar-cloud) in the Splunk documentation. |
| OpenStack Ironic before 35.0.1 allows ipmitool execution in a non-default configuration that has a console interface. |
| The HL7800 cellular modem driver's +CGCONTRDP: response handler on_cmd_atcmdinfo_ipaddr() in drivers/modem/vendor_standalone/hl7800.c parses the PDP-context dynamic parameters (local address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS servers) that the cellular network assigns to the device. The response is linearized into a 256-byte stack buffer, after which each address field length is computed from comma/. delimiter positions in the network-supplied data and used directly as the length argument to strncpy() into the fixed 64-byte stack buffer temp_addr_str (and the 16-byte iface_ctx.dns_v4_string).
Because the field length is derived from attacker-controlled delimiter positions and was not bounded against the destination buffer, a single field can be far larger than 64 bytes. A malicious or impersonated cellular network (for example a rogue base station) can return a crafted +CGCONTRDP response with an overlong address field, causing strncpy() to write past temp_addr_str on the modem worker thread's stack, plus an out-of-bounds NUL write at temp_addr_str[addr_len].
No device-side privileges or user interaction are required: the device itself issues the AT+CGCONTRDP=1 query during normal network attach and parses whatever the network returns. The overflow corrupts adjacent stack memory in supervisor context, yielding at minimum a remotely triggerable crash and potentially control-flow hijacking on targets without stack protection.
The fix bounds every field length against its destination buffer (temp_addr_str and dns_v4_string) before each copy, rejecting overlong fields. |
| Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. From 8.72 until 10.23, addBoardHTMLToZip() in client/lib/exportHTML.js read a card title and body through textContent, which decoded entity-encoded markup, and then interpolated titleText and allText into content.innerHTML in the exported index.html. A board member could store an entity-encoded event-handler payload in a card title that remained inert on the live board but was reparsed and executed when a recipient clicked the card in the downloaded HTML export, allowing the script to read and transmit all board data contained in that export, including content added after the attacker's membership was removed. Version 10.23 builds the modal with DOM nodes and assigns untrusted values through textContent. This issue is fixed in version 10.23. |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 detection engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection.
This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when parsing the Multicast DNS fields of the HTTP header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection to be parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine unexpectedly restarts. |
