CVE-2026-12522 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-08-20 8.8 High
The HL7800 cellular modem driver's +CGCONTRDP: response handler on_cmd_atcmdinfo_ipaddr() in drivers/modem/vendor_standalone/hl7800.c parses the PDP-context dynamic parameters (local address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS servers) that the cellular network assigns to the device. The response is linearized into a 256-byte stack buffer, after which each address field length is computed from comma/. delimiter positions in the network-supplied data and used directly as the length argument to strncpy() into the fixed 64-byte stack buffer temp_addr_str (and the 16-byte iface_ctx.dns_v4_string). Because the field length is derived from attacker-controlled delimiter positions and was not bounded against the destination buffer, a single field can be far larger than 64 bytes. A malicious or impersonated cellular network (for example a rogue base station) can return a crafted +CGCONTRDP response with an overlong address field, causing strncpy() to write past temp_addr_str on the modem worker thread's stack, plus an out-of-bounds NUL write at temp_addr_str[addr_len]. No device-side privileges or user interaction are required: the device itself issues the AT+CGCONTRDP=1 query during normal network attach and parses whatever the network returns. The overflow corrupts adjacent stack memory in supervisor context, yielding at minimum a remotely triggerable crash and potentially control-flow hijacking on targets without stack protection. The fix bounds every field length against its destination buffer (temp_addr_str and dns_v4_string) before each copy, rejecting overlong fields.
CVE-2026-68900 1 Wekan 1 Wekan 2026-08-19 7.6 High
Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. From 8.72 until 10.23, addBoardHTMLToZip() in client/lib/exportHTML.js read a card title and body through textContent, which decoded entity-encoded markup, and then interpolated titleText and allText into content.innerHTML in the exported index.html. A board member could store an entity-encoded event-handler payload in a card title that remained inert on the live board but was reparsed and executed when a recipient clicked the card in the downloaded HTML export, allowing the script to read and transmit all board data contained in that export, including content added after the attacker's membership was removed. Version 10.23 builds the modal with DOM nodes and assigns untrusted values through textContent. This issue is fixed in version 10.23.
CVE-2026-20067 1 Cisco 5 Cisco Utd Snort Ips Engine Software, Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense and 2 more 2026-08-19 5.8 Medium
Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 detection engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection.  This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when parsing the Multicast DNS fields of the HTTP header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection to be parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine unexpectedly restarts.

CVE-2026-59087 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-19 7.8 High
A flaw was found in the GIMP image manipulation program, specifically within its Seattle Filmworks file loader. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted Seattle Filmworks file. This could lead to a heap overflow, allowing the attacker to write several kilobytes of controlled data beyond the intended memory buffer. Such an overflow can result in memory corruption, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a denial of service.
CVE-2026-59091 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-19 7.3 High
A flaw was found in GIMP's file format plugins, including those for PSD and PAA files. A remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted image file. This could lead to unexpected application behavior or other potential security impacts without requiring further user interaction.
CVE-2026-55877 1 Symfony 1 Ux 2026-08-19 6.1 Medium
Symfony UX is a JavaScript ecosystem for Symfony. From 2.17.0 before 2.36.1 and from 3.0.0 before 3.2.0, the ux_icon() Twig function is marked is_safe=['html'] and Icon::toHtml() inlines SVG source verbatim, allowing unsanitized local SVG files or Iconify on-demand JSON body responses containing nested script elements, on* event handlers, or dangerous URL schemes to execute cross-site scripting. This issue is fixed in versions 2.36.1 and 3.2.0.
CVE-2026-12228 2 Lollms, Parisneo 2 Lollms, Parisneo/lollms 2026-08-19 5.4 Medium
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the `POST /api/prompts/share` endpoint of parisneo/lollms (latest version). The endpoint stores attacker-controlled `prompt_content` into `DBDirectMessage.content` without server-side sanitization. When a victim opens the direct message (DM) thread, the message is rendered by the DM UI through `MessageContentRenderer`, which uses `v-html` to insert rendered HTML into the DOM. The frontend sanitizer, which is regex-based, fails to comprehensively sanitize attacker-controlled HTML, allowing malicious payloads to execute in the victim's browser context. This vulnerability enables any authenticated user to send a malicious prompt-share message to another user's inbox, leading to arbitrary JavaScript execution, authenticated actions as the victim, exposure of same-origin application data, and potential account takeover.
CVE-2026-2445 1 Wso2 6 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server and 3 more 2026-08-19 6.1 Medium
The affected product accepts user-supplied input within a URL parameter without enforcing expected sanitization or encoding before rendering it within the response. This condition allows for the injection of malicious JavaScript payloads. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to cause the user's browser to redirect to a malicious website, modify the user interface of the webpage, or retrieve sensitive information from the browser. However, the impact is mitigated for session hijacking as all session-related sensitive cookies are protected by the httpOnly flag.
CVE-2020-25576 1 Rust-random 1 Rand 2026-08-19 9.8 Critical
An issue was discovered in the rand_core crate before 0.4.2 for Rust. Casting of byte slices to integer slices mishandles alignment constraints.
CVE-2026-54347 1 Froxlor 1 Froxlor 2026-08-19 8.7 High
Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to 2.3.8, DNS TXT record content accepted by lib/Froxlor/Api/Commands/DomainZones.php can contain HTML special characters, lib/Froxlor/UI/Callbacks/Text.php returns the content from Text::wordwrap without HTML escaping, and templates/Froxlor/table/table.html.twig renders the callback result with the raw filter. An authenticated customer with DNS editor access can store JavaScript-bearing content in a TXT record. When an administrator views the affected domain's DNS configuration, the payload executes automatically in the administrator's browser session, which can expose session data or perform privileged panel actions. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.8.
CVE-2026-52877 1 Truelockmc 1 Streambert 2026-08-19 8.3 High
Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-external IPC handler in src/ipc/downloads.js passes a renderer-supplied url directly to Electron's shell.openExternal without validating its protocol. A compromised renderer can submit file: URIs or operating-system-specific custom schemes, causing the host to open local files, access remote resources through registered handlers, or launch scripts and applications supported by those handlers. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.
CVE-2026-52876 1 Truelockmc 1 Streambert 2026-08-19 8.8 High
Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-path-at-time IPC handler in src/ipc/player.js accepts a renderer-controlled filePath without validating its type or location. If the mpv or VLC launch attempts are skipped or fail, the handler passes filePath to Electron's shell.openPath. A compromised renderer can provide the path of a local executable, script, shortcut, or other file with an executing default handler, causing the operating system to launch it with the privileges of the StreamBERT process and enabling escape from the renderer sandbox. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.
CVE-2026-16617 2026-08-19 8.8 High
The Simple File List WordPress plugin through 6.3.11 does not properly sanitise and escape a file's description before outputting it on the public file list, allowing unauthenticated users (when front-end file management is enabled) to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks that execute in the browser of any visitor viewing the list.
CVE-2025-71395 1 Surrealdb 1 Surrealdb 2026-08-19 6.5 Medium
SurrealDB versions before 2.2.2 contain a memory exhaustion vulnerability in the string::replace function that fails to restrict resulting string length when using regex patterns. An authenticated attacker can craft a malicious query to exhaust server memory through unbounded string allocations, causing denial of service.
