CVE-2025-6425 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2025-07-06 | 4.3 Medium |
An attacker who enumerated resources from the WebCompat extension could have obtained a persistent UUID that identified the browser, and persisted between containers and normal/private browsing mode, but not profiles. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 140, Firefox ESR < 115.25, Firefox ESR < 128.12, Thunderbird < 140, and Thunderbird < 128.12.
CVE-2024-8443 | 2 Opensc Project, Redhat | 2 Opensc, Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-05 | 2.9 Low |
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the libopensc OpenPGP driver. A crafted USB device or smart card with malicious responses to the APDUs during the card enrollment process using the `pkcs15-init` tool may lead to out-of-bound rights, possibly resulting in arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2024-49395 | 3 Mutt, Neomutt, Redhat | 3 Mutt, Neomutt, Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-05 | 5.3 Medium |
In mutt and neomutt, PGP encryption does not use the --hidden-recipient mode which may leak the Bcc email header field by inferring from the recipients info.
CVE-2024-5742 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 2 Nano, Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-05 | 6.7 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in GNU Nano that allows a possible privilege escalation through an insecure temporary file. If Nano is killed while editing, a file it saves to an emergency file with the permissions of the running user provides a window of opportunity for attackers to escalate privileges through a malicious symlink.
CVE-2020-25720 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Storage | 2025-07-05 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability was found in Samba where a delegated administrator with permission to create objects in Active Directory can write to all attributes of the newly created object, including security-sensitive attributes, even after the object's creation. This issue occurs because the administrator owns the object due to the lack of an Access Control List (ACL) at the time of creation and later being recognized as the 'creator owner.' The retained significant rights of the delegated administrator may not be well understood, potentially leading to unintended privilege escalation or security risks.
CVE-2025-1057 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-05 | 4.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in Keylime, a remote attestation solution, where strict type checking introduced in version 7.12.0 prevents the registrar from reading database entries created by previous versions, for example, 7.11.0. Specifically, older versions store agent registration data as bytes, whereas the updated registrar expects str. This issue leads to an exception when processing agent registration requests, causing the agent to fail.
CVE-2025-0678 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-07-05 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in grub2. When reading data from a squash4 filesystem, grub's squash4 fs module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem geometry to determine the internal buffer size, however, it improperly checks for integer overflows. A maliciously crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculations to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result, the direct_read() will perform a heap based out-of-bounds write during data reading. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and may result in arbitrary code execution, by-passing secure boot protections.
CVE-2024-9902 | 1 Redhat | 5 Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer, Ansible Automation Platform Inside and 2 more | 2025-07-05 | 6.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in Ansible. The ansible-core `user` module can allow an unprivileged user to silently create or replace the contents of any file on any system path and take ownership of it when a privileged user executes the `user` module against the unprivileged user's home directory. If the unprivileged user has traversal permissions on the directory containing the exploited target file, they retain full control over the contents of the file as its owner.
CVE-2024-8775 | 1 Redhat | 6 Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer, Ansible Automation Platform Inside and 3 more | 2025-07-05 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in Ansible, where sensitive information stored in Ansible Vault files can be exposed in plaintext during the execution of a playbook. This occurs when using tasks such as include_vars to load vaulted variables without setting the no_log: true parameter, resulting in sensitive data being printed in the playbook output or logs. This can lead to the unintentional disclosure of secrets like passwords or API keys, compromising security and potentially allowing unauthorized access or actions.
CVE-2024-5148 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-05 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in the gnome-remote-desktop package. The gnome-remote-desktop system daemon performs inadequate validation of session agents using D-Bus methods related to transitioning a client connection from the login screen to the user session. As a result, the system RDP TLS certificate and key can be exposed to unauthorized users. This flaw allows a malicious user on the system to take control of the RDP client connection during the login screen-to-user session transition.
CVE-2024-31082 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-05 | 7.3 High |
A heap-based buffer over-read vulnerability was found in the X.org server's ProcAppleDRICreatePixmap() function. This issue occurs when byte-swapped length values are used in replies, potentially leading to memory leakage and segmentation faults, particularly when triggered by a client with a different endianness. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to cause the X server to read heap memory values and then transmit them back to the client until encountering an unmapped page, resulting in a crash. Despite the attacker's inability to control the specific memory copied into the replies, the small length values typically stored in a 32-bit integer can result in significant attempted out-of-bounds reads.
CVE-2024-3019 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2025-07-05 | 8.8 High |
A flaw was found in PCP. The default pmproxy configuration exposes the Redis server backend to the local network, allowing remote command execution with the privileges of the Redis user. This issue can only be exploited when pmproxy is running. By default, pmproxy is not running and needs to be started manually. The pmproxy service is usually started from the 'Metrics settings' page of the Cockpit web interface. This flaw affects PCP versions 4.3.4 and newer.
CVE-2024-9050 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2025-07-05 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in the libreswan client plugin for NetworkManager (NetkworkManager-libreswan), where it fails to properly sanitize the VPN configuration from the local unprivileged user. In this configuration, composed by a key-value format, the plugin fails to escape special characters, leading the application to interpret values as keys. One of the most critical parameters that could be abused by a malicious user is the `leftupdown`key. This key takes an executable command as a value and is used to specify what executes as a callback in NetworkManager-libreswan to retrieve configuration settings back to NetworkManager. As NetworkManager uses Polkit to allow an unprivileged user to control the system's network configuration, a malicious actor could achieve local privilege escalation and potential code execution as root in the targeted machine by creating a malicious configuration.
CVE-2022-31631 | 3 Php, Redhat, Sqlite | 3 Php, Enterprise Linux, Sqlite | 2025-07-02 | 9.1 Critical |
In PHP versions 8.0.* before 8.0.27, 8.1.* before 8.1.15, 8.2.* before 8.2.2 when using PDO::quote() function to quote user-supplied data for SQLite, supplying an overly long string may cause the driver to incorrectly quote the data, which may further lead to SQL injection vulnerabilities.
CVE-2025-1861 | 3 Netapp, Php, Redhat | 3 Ontap, Php, Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-02 | 9.8 Critical |
In PHP from 8.1.* before 8.1.32, from 8.2.* before 8.2.28, from 8.3.* before 8.3.19, from 8.4.* before 8.4.5, when parsing HTTP redirect in the response to an HTTP request, there is currently limit on the location value size caused by limited size of the location buffer to 1024. However as per RFC9110, the limit is recommended to be 8000. This may lead to incorrect URL truncation and redirecting to a wrong location.
CVE-2025-1736 | 3 Netapp, Php, Redhat | 3 Ontap, Php, Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-02 | 7.3 High |
In PHP from 8.1.* before 8.1.32, from 8.2.* before 8.2.28, from 8.3.* before 8.3.19, from 8.4.* before 8.4.5, when user-supplied headers are sent, the insufficient validation of the end-of-line characters may prevent certain headers from being sent or lead to certain headers be misinterpreted.
CVE-2025-1734 | 3 Netapp, Php, Redhat | 3 Ontap, Php, Enterprise Linux | 2025-07-02 | 5.3 Medium |
In PHP from 8.1.* before 8.1.32, from 8.2.* before 8.2.28, from 8.3.* before 8.3.19, from 8.4.* before 8.4.5, when receiving headers from HTTP server, the headers missing a colon (:) are treated as valid headers even though they are not. This may confuse applications into accepting invalid headers. |
