CVE-2023-6693 | 3 Fedoraproject, Qemu, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Qemu, Advanced Virtualization and 1 more | 2025-08-04 | 4.9 Medium |
A stack based buffer overflow was found in the virtio-net device of QEMU. This issue occurs when flushing TX in the virtio_net_flush_tx function if guest features VIRTIO_NET_F_HASH_REPORT, VIRTIO_F_VERSION_1 and VIRTIO_NET_F_MRG_RXBUF are enabled. This could allow a malicious user to overwrite local variables allocated on the stack. Specifically, the `out_sg` variable could be used to read a part of process memory and send it to the wire, causing an information leak.
CVE-2023-47038 | 3 Fedoraproject, Perl, Redhat | 5 Fedora, Perl, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-08-03 | 7 High |
A vulnerability was found in perl 5.30.0 through 5.38.0. This issue occurs when a crafted regular expression is compiled by perl, which can allow an attacker controlled byte buffer overflow in a heap allocated buffer.
CVE-2023-38559 | 4 Artifex, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Ghostscript, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more | 2025-08-03 | 5.5 Medium |
A buffer overflow flaw was found in base/gdevdevn.c:1973 in devn_pcx_write_rle() in ghostscript. This issue may allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service via outputting a crafted PDF file for a DEVN device with gs.
CVE-2023-5455 | 3 Fedoraproject, Freeipa, Redhat | 25 Fedora, Freeipa, Codeready Linux Builder and 22 more | 2025-08-03 | 6.5 Medium |
A Cross-site request forgery vulnerability exists in ipa/session/login_password in all supported versions of IPA. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the user into submitting a request that could perform actions as the user, resulting in a loss of confidentiality and system integrity. During community penetration testing it was found that for certain HTTP end-points FreeIPA does not ensure CSRF protection. Due to implementation details one cannot use this flaw for reflection of a cookie representing already logged-in user. An attacker would always have to go through a new authentication attempt.
CVE-2024-3056 | 3 Fedoraproject, Podman Project, Redhat | 5 Fedora, Podman, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-08-03 | 7.7 High |
A flaw was found in Podman. This issue may allow an attacker to create a specially crafted container that, when configured to share the same IPC with at least one other container, can create a large number of IPC resources in /dev/shm. The malicious container will continue to exhaust resources until it is out-of-memory (OOM) killed. While the malicious container's cgroup will be removed, the IPC resources it created are not. Those resources are tied to the IPC namespace that will not be removed until all containers using it are stopped, and one non-malicious container is holding the namespace open. The malicious container is restarted, either automatically or by attacker control, repeating the process and increasing the amount of memory consumed. With a container configured to restart always, such as `podman run --restart=always`, this can result in a memory-based denial of service of the system.
CVE-2024-1062 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 16 Fedora, 389 Directory Server, Directory Server and 13 more | 2025-08-03 | 5.5 Medium |
A heap overflow flaw was found in 389-ds-base. This issue leads to a denial of service when writing a value larger than 256 chars in log_entry_attr.
CVE-2023-6681 | 3 Fedoraproject, Latchset, Redhat | 7 Fedora, Jwcrypto, Ansible Automation Platform and 4 more | 2025-08-03 | 5.3 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in JWCrypto. This flaw allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) attack and possible password brute-force and dictionary attacks to be more resource-intensive. This issue can result in a large amount of computational consumption, causing a denial of service attack.
CVE-2024-1488 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 23 Unbound, Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder Eus and 20 more | 2025-08-01 | 8 High |
A vulnerability was found in Unbound due to incorrect default permissions, allowing any process outside the unbound group to modify the unbound runtime configuration. If a process can connect over localhost to port 8953, it can alter the configuration of unbound.service. This flaw allows an unprivileged attacker to manipulate a running instance, potentially altering forwarders, allowing them to track all queries forwarded by the local resolver, and, in some cases, disrupting resolving altogether.
CVE-2023-5157 | 3 Fedoraproject, Mariadb, Redhat | 17 Fedora, Mariadb, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2025-08-01 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability was found in MariaDB. An OpenVAS port scan on ports 3306 and 4567 allows a malicious remote client to cause a denial of service.
CVE-2023-4004 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 10 more | 2025-08-01 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter in the way a user triggers the nft_pipapo_remove function with the element, without a NFT_SET_EXT_KEY_END. This issue could allow a local user to crash the system or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2023-31122 | 4 Apache, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 5 Http Server, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2025-08-01 | 7.5 High |
Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability in mod_macro of Apache HTTP Server. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.57.
CVE-2024-2398 | 6 Apple, Curl, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 27 Macos, Curl, Fedora and 24 more | 2025-07-30 | 8.6 High |
When an application tells libcurl it wants to allow HTTP/2 server push, and the amount of received headers for the push surpasses the maximum allowed limit (1000), libcurl aborts the server push. When aborting, libcurl inadvertently does not free all the previously allocated headers and instead leaks the memory. Further, this error condition fails silently and is therefore not easily detected by an application.
CVE-2024-2004 | 5 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 16 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 13 more | 2025-07-30 | 3.5 Low |
When a protocol selection parameter option disables all protocols without adding any then the default set of protocols would remain in the allowed set due to an error in the logic for removing protocols. The below command would perform a request to curl.se with a plaintext protocol which has been explicitly disabled. curl --proto -all,-http http://curl.se The flaw is only present if the set of selected protocols disables the entire set of available protocols, in itself a command with no practical use and therefore unlikely to be encountered in real situations. The curl security team has thus assessed this to be low severity bug.
CVE-2022-0847 | 7 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 4 more | 42 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 39 more | 2025-07-30 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copy_page_to_iter_pipe and push_pipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-3075 | 2 Fedoraproject, Google | 2 Fedora, Chrome | 2025-07-30 | 9.6 Critical |
Insufficient data validation in Mojo in Google Chrome prior to 105.0.5195.102 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2020-16009 | 7 Cefsharp, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 9 Cefsharp, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more | 2025-07-30 | 8.8 High |
Inappropriate implementation in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 86.0.4240.183 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2024-1151 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2025-07-30 | 5.5 Medium |
A vulnerability was reported in the Open vSwitch sub-component in the Linux Kernel. The flaw occurs when a recursive operation of code push recursively calls into the code block. The OVS module does not validate the stack depth, pushing too many frames and causing a stack overflow. As a result, this can lead to a crash or other related issues.
CVE-2012-1823 | 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 20 Mac Os X, Debian Linux, Fedora and 17 more | 2025-07-30 | 9.8 Critical |
sapi/cgi/cgi_main.c in PHP before 5.3.12 and 5.4.x before 5.4.2, when configured as a CGI script (aka php-cgi), does not properly handle query strings that lack an = (equals sign) character, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by placing command-line options in the query string, related to lack of skipping a certain php_getopt for the 'd' case.
CVE-2014-0160 | 13 Broadcom, Canonical, Debian and 10 more | 37 Symantec Messaging Gateway, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 34 more | 2025-07-30 | 7.5 High |
The (1) TLS and (2) DTLS implementations in OpenSSL 1.0.1 before 1.0.1g do not properly handle Heartbeat Extension packets, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory via crafted packets that trigger a buffer over-read, as demonstrated by reading private keys, related to d1_both.c and t1_lib.c, aka the Heartbleed bug.
CVE-2016-5195 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 24 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 21 more | 2025-07-30 | 7 High |
Race condition in mm/gup.c in the Linux kernel 2.x through 4.x before 4.8.3 allows local users to gain privileges by leveraging incorrect handling of a copy-on-write (COW) feature to write to a read-only memory mapping, as exploited in the wild in October 2016, aka "Dirty COW." |
