CVSS v3.1 |
| Memory leak in the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) implementation in Cisco IOS 12.2 through 12.4, when VoIP is configured, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption and voice-service outage) via unspecified valid SIP messages. |
| Clam AntiVirus ClamAV before 0.90 does not close open file descriptors under certain conditions, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (file descriptor consumption and failed scans) via CAB archives with a cabinet header record length of zero, which causes a function to return without closing a file descriptor. |
| Memory leak in the appletalk subsystem in the Linux kernel 2.4.x through 2.4.37.6 and 2.6.x through 2.6.31, when the appletalk and ipddp modules are loaded but the ipddp"N" device is not found, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via IP-DDP datagrams. |
| The icmp_send function in net/ipv4/icmp.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.25, when configured as a router with a REJECT route, does not properly manage the Protocol Independent Destination Cache (aka DST) in some situations involving transmission of an ICMP Host Unreachable message, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (connectivity outage) by sending a large series of packets to many destination IP addresses within this REJECT route, related to an "rt_cache leak." |
| The IAX2 channel driver (chan_iax2) in Asterisk Open 1.2.x before 1.2.23, 1.4.x before 1.4.9, and Asterisk Appliance Developer Kit before 0.6.0, when configured to allow unauthenticated calls, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource exhaustion) via a flood of calls that do not complete a 3-way handshake, which causes an ast_channel to be allocated but not released. |
| Multiple memory leaks in the IP module in the kernel in Sun Solaris 8 through 10, and OpenSolaris before snv_109, allow local users to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via vectors related to (1) M_DATA, (2) M_PROTO, (3) M_PCPROTO, and (4) M_SIG STREAMS messages. |
| IBM Rational Build Forge 7.0.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a port scan, which spawns multiple bfagent server processes that attempt to read data from closed sockets. |
| libgphoto2 is a camera access and control library. Versions up to and including 2.5.33 have a memory leak in `ptp_unpack_Sony_DPD()` in `camlibs/ptp2/ptp-pack.c` (lines 884–885). When processing a secondary enumeration list (introduced in 2024+ Sony cameras), the function overwrites dpd->FORM.Enum.SupportedValue with a new calloc() without freeing the previous allocation from line 857. The original array and any string values it contains are leaked on every property descriptor parse. Commit 404ff02c75f3cb280196fc260a63c4d26cf1a8f6 fixes the issue. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: Fix refcount leak for cifs_sb_tlink
Fix three refcount inconsistency issues related to `cifs_sb_tlink`.
Comments for `cifs_sb_tlink` state that `cifs_put_tlink()` needs to be
called after successful calls to `cifs_sb_tlink()`. Three calls fail to
update refcount accordingly, leading to possible resource leaks. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/bridge: synopsys: dw-dp: fix error paths of dw_dp_bind
Fix several issues in dw_dp_bind() error handling:
1. Missing return after drm_bridge_attach() failure - the function
continued execution instead of returning an error.
2. Resource leak: drm_dp_aux_register() is not a devm function, so
drm_dp_aux_unregister() must be called on all error paths after
aux registration succeeds. This affects errors from:
- drm_bridge_attach()
- phy_init()
- devm_add_action_or_reset()
- platform_get_irq()
- devm_request_threaded_irq()
3. Bug fix: platform_get_irq() returns the IRQ number or a negative
error code, but the error path was returning ERR_PTR(ret) instead
of ERR_PTR(dp->irq).
Use a goto label for cleanup to ensure consistent error handling. |
| NiceGUI is a Python-based UI framework. From versions v2.10.0 to 3.4.1, an unauthenticated attacker can exhaust Redis connections by repeatedly opening and closing browser tabs on any NiceGUI application using Redis-backed storage. Connections are never released, leading to service degradation when Redis hits its connection limit. NiceGUI continues accepting new connections - errors are logged but the app stays up with broken storage functionality. This issue has been patched in version 3.5.0. |

When __memcg_slab_post_alloc_hook() fails, there are two different
free paths depending on whether size == 1 or size != 1. In the
kmem_cache_free_bulk() path, we do call alloc_tagging_slab_free_hook().
However, in memcg_alloc_abort_single() we don't, the above warning will be
triggered on the next allocation.
Therefore, add alloc_tagging_slab_free_hook() to the
memcg_alloc_abort_single() path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: phy: intel-xway: fix OF node refcount leakage

| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to version 7.1.2-15, a memory leak in the ASHLAR image writer allows an attacker to exhaust process memory by providing a crafted image that results in small objects that are allocated but never freed. Version 7.1.2-15 contains a patch. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, memory leak exists in `coders/msl.c`. In the `WriteMSLImage` function of the `msl.c` file, resources are allocated. But the function returns early without releasing these allocated resources. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, in `ReadSTEGANOImage()` (`coders/stegano.c`), the `watermark` Image object is not freed on three early-return paths, resulting in a definite memory leak (~13.5KB+ per invocation) that can be exploited for denial of service. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to version 7.1.2-15, a memory leak exists in `coders/ashlar.c`. The `WriteASHLARImage` allocates a structure. However, when an exception is thrown, the allocated memory is not properly released, resulting in a potential memory leak. Version 7.1.2-15 contains a patch. |
| Multer is a node.js middleware for handling `multipart/form-data`. A vulnerability in Multer prior to version 2.1.0 allows an attacker to trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by dropping connection during file upload, potentially causing resource exhaustion. Users should upgrade to version 2.1.0 to receive a patch. No known workarounds are available. |
