CVE-2024-22201 4 Debian, Eclipse, Netapp and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Jetty, Active Iq Unified Manager and 4 more 2025-02-13 7.5 High
Jetty is a Java based web server and servlet engine. An HTTP/2 SSL connection that is established and TCP congested will be leaked when it times out. An attacker can cause many connections to end up in this state, and the server may run out of file descriptors, eventually causing the server to stop accepting new connections from valid clients. The vulnerability is patched in 9.4.54, 10.0.20, 11.0.20, and 12.0.6.
CVE-2023-6337 1 Hashicorp 1 Vault 2025-02-13 7.5 High
HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise 1.12.0 and newer are vulnerable to a denial of service through memory exhaustion of the host when handling large unauthenticated and authenticated HTTP requests from a client. Vault will attempt to map the request to memory, resulting in the exhaustion of available memory on the host, which may cause Vault to crash. Fixed in Vault 1.15.4, 1.14.8, 1.13.12.
CVE-2024-32660 3 Fedoraproject, Freerdp, Redhat 3 Fedora, Freerdp, Enterprise Linux 2025-02-13 7.5 High
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.5.1, a malicious server can crash the FreeRDP client by sending invalid huge allocation size. Version 3.5.1 contains a patch for the issue. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2024-29025 1 Redhat 11 Amq Broker, Amq Streams, Apache Camel Spring Boot and 8 more 2025-02-13 5.3 Medium
Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. The `HttpPostRequestDecoder` can be tricked to accumulate data. While the decoder can store items on the disk if configured so, there are no limits to the number of fields the form can have, an attacher can send a chunked post consisting of many small fields that will be accumulated in the `bodyListHttpData` list. The decoder cumulates bytes in the `undecodedChunk` buffer until it can decode a field, this field can cumulate data without limits. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.108.Final.
CVE-2024-28863 2 Node-tar Project, Redhat 5 Node-tar, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Data Foundation and 2 more 2025-02-13 6.5 Medium
node-tar is a Tar for Node.js. node-tar prior to version 6.2.1 has no limit on the number of sub-folders created in the folder creation process. An attacker who generates a large number of sub-folders can consume memory on the system running node-tar and even crash the Node.js client within few seconds of running it using a path with too many sub-folders inside. Version 6.2.1 fixes this issue by preventing extraction in excessively deep sub-folders.
CVE-2024-28182 2 Nghttp2, Redhat 7 Nghttp2, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 4 more 2025-02-13 5.3 Medium
nghttp2 is an implementation of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol version 2 in C. The nghttp2 library prior to version 1.61.0 keeps reading the unbounded number of HTTP/2 CONTINUATION frames even after a stream is reset to keep HPACK context in sync. This causes excessive CPU usage to decode HPACK stream. nghttp2 v1.61.0 mitigates this vulnerability by limiting the number of CONTINUATION frames it accepts per stream. There is no workaround for this vulnerability.
CVE-2024-27804 1 Apple 7 Ipad Os, Ipados, Iphone Os and 4 more 2025-02-13 8.1 High
The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5, tvOS 17.5, watchOS 10.5, macOS Sonoma 14.5. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
CVE-2024-27316 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 7 Http Server, Fedora, Ontap and 4 more 2025-02-13 7.5 High
HTTP/2 incoming headers exceeding the limit are temporarily buffered in nghttp2 in order to generate an informative HTTP 413 response. If a client does not stop sending headers, this leads to memory exhaustion.
CVE-2024-23837 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf 2 Fedora, Libhtp 2025-02-13 7.5 High
LibHTP is a security-aware parser for the HTTP protocol. Crafted traffic can cause excessive processing time of HTTP headers, leading to denial of service. This issue is addressed in 0.5.46.
CVE-2024-23836 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf 2 Fedora, Suricata 2025-02-13 7.5 High
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 6.0.16 and 7.0.3, an attacker can craft traffic to cause Suricata to use far more CPU and memory for processing the traffic than needed, which can lead to extreme slow downs and denial of service. This vulnerability is patched in 6.0.16 or 7.0.3. Workarounds include disabling the affected protocol app-layer parser in the yaml and reducing the `stream.reassembly.depth` value helps reduce the severity of the issue.
CVE-2024-23835 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf 2 Fedora, Suricata 2025-02-13 7.5 High
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to version 7.0.3, excessive memory use during pgsql parsing could lead to OOM-related crashes. This vulnerability is patched in 7.0.3. As workaround, users can disable the pgsql app layer parser.
