CVSS v3.1 |
VMware vCenter Server Appliance (vCSA) 5.1 before Update 1 allows remote authenticated users to create or overwrite arbitrary files, and consequently execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service, by leveraging Virtual Appliance Management Interface (VAMI) web-interface access.
VMware vCenter Server 4.1 before Update 3 and 5.0 before Update 2, and vCSA 5.0 before Update 2, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (disk consumption) via vectors that trigger large log entries.
com.springsource.tcserver.serviceability.rmi.JmxSocketListener in VMware SpringSource tc Server Runtime 6.0.19 and 6.0.20 before 6.0.20.D, and 6.0.25.A before 6.0.25.A-SR01, does not properly enforce the requirement for an encrypted (aka s2enc) password, which allows remote attackers to obtain JMX interface access via a blank password.
VMware Tools in VMware Workstation 6.5.x before 6.5.4 build 246459; VMware Player 2.5.x before 2.5.4 build 246459; VMware ACE 2.5.x before 2.5.4 build 246459; VMware Server 2.x before 2.0.2 build 203138; VMware Fusion 2.x before 2.0.6 build 246742; VMware ESXi 3.5 and 4.0; and VMware ESX 2.5.5, 3.0.3, 3.5, and 4.0 does not properly load VMware programs, which might allow Windows guest OS users to gain privileges by placing a Trojan horse program at an unspecified location on the guest OS disk.
The virtual networking stack in VMware Workstation 7.0 before 7.0.1 build 227600, VMware Workstation 6.5.x before 6.5.4 build 246459 on Windows, VMware Player 3.0 before 3.0.1 build 227600, VMware Player 2.5.x before 2.5.4 build 246459 on Windows, VMware ACE 2.6 before 2.6.1 build 227600 and 2.5.x before 2.5.4 build 246459, VMware Server 2.x, and VMware Fusion 3.0 before 3.0.1 build 232708 and 2.x before 2.0.7 build 246742 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information from memory on the host OS by examining received network packets, related to interaction between the guest OS and the host vmware-vmx process.
VMware vCenter Chargeback Manager (aka CBM) before 2.0.1 does not properly handle XML API requests, which allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files or cause a denial of service via unspecified vectors.
VMware SpringSource Spring Security 2.x before 2.0.6 and 3.x before 3.0.4, and Acegi Security 1.0.0 through 1.0.7, as used in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 6.1 and 7.0, allows remote attackers to bypass security constraints via a path parameter.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer (nvidia.ko), where an integer overflow may lead to denial of service, data tampering, or information disclosure.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer (nvidia.ko), where an integer overflow in index validation may lead to denial of service, information disclosure, or data tampering.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer (nvidia.ko), where an out-of-bounds array access may lead to denial of service, data tampering, or information disclosure.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer (nvidia.ko), where an off-by-one error may lead to data tampering or information disclosure.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer handler, where an integer truncation can lead to an out-of-bounds read, which may lead to denial of service.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer, where an unprivileged user can cause a null-pointer dereference, which may lead to denial of service.
| In Spring Security, versions 6.1.x prior to 6.1.7 and versions 6.2.x prior to 6.2.2, an application is vulnerable to broken access control when it directly uses the AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated(Authentication) method.
Specifically, an application is vulnerable if:
* The application uses AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated(Authentication) directly and a null authentication parameter is passed to it resulting in an erroneous true return value.
An application is not vulnerable if any of the following is true:
* The application does not use AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated(Authentication) directly.
* The application does not pass null to AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated
* The application only uses isFullyAuthenticated via Method Security https://docs.spring.io/spring-security/reference/servlet/authorization/method-security.html or HTTP Request Security https://docs.spring.io/spring-security/reference/servlet/authorization/authorize-http-requests.html |
The vRealize Log Insight contains a Directory Traversal Vulnerability. An unauthenticated, malicious actor can inject files into the operating system of an impacted appliance which can result in remote code execution.
The vRealize Log Insight contains a broken access control vulnerability. An unauthenticated malicious actor can remotely inject code into sensitive files of an impacted appliance which can result in remote code execution.
Pivotal RabbitMQ, 3.7 versions prior to v3.7.20 and 3.8 version prior to v3.8.1, and RabbitMQ for PCF, 1.16.x versions prior to 1.16.7 and 1.17.x versions prior to 1.17.4, contain two endpoints, federation and shovel, which do not properly sanitize user input. A remote authenticated malicious user with administrative access could craft a cross site scripting attack via the vhost or node name fields that could grant access to virtual hosts and policy management information.
VMware vRealize Log Insight contains an Information Disclosure Vulnerability. A malicious actor can remotely collect sensitive session and application information without authentication.
vRealize Log Insight contains a deserialization vulnerability. An unauthenticated malicious actor can remotely trigger the deserialization of untrusted data which could result in a denial of service.
VMware ESXi, Workstation, and Fusion contain a use-after-free vulnerability in the XHCI USB controller. A malicious actor with local administrative privileges on a virtual machine may exploit this issue to execute code as the virtual machine's VMX process running on the host. On ESXi, the exploitation is contained within the VMX sandbox whereas, on Workstation and Fusion, this may lead to code execution on the machine where Workstation or Fusion is installed.
