CVE-2021-47498 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm rq: don't queue request to blk-mq during DM suspend DM uses blk-mq's quiesce/unquiesce to stop/start device mapper queue. But blk-mq's unquiesce may come from outside events, such as elevator switch, updating nr_requests or others, and request may come during suspend, so simply ask for blk-mq to requeue it. Fixes one kernel panic issue when running updating nr_requests and dm-mpath suspend/resume stress test.
CVE-2016-6301 1 Busybox 1 Busybox 2025-12-04 7.5 High
The recv_and_process_client_pkt function in networking/ntpd.c in busybox allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU and bandwidth consumption) via a forged NTP packet, which triggers a communication loop.

CVE-2024-42290 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/imx-irqsteer: Handle runtime power management correctly The power domain is automatically activated from clk_prepare(). However, on certain platforms like i.MX8QM and i.MX8QXP, the power-on handling invokes sleeping functions, which triggers the 'scheduling while atomic' bug in the context switch path during device probing: BUG: scheduling while atomic: kworker/u13:1/48/0x00000002 Call trace: __schedule_bug+0x54/0x6c __schedule+0x7f0/0xa94 schedule+0x5c/0xc4 schedule_preempt_disabled+0x24/0x40 __mutex_lock.constprop.0+0x2c0/0x540 __mutex_lock_slowpath+0x14/0x20 mutex_lock+0x48/0x54 clk_prepare_lock+0x44/0xa0 clk_prepare+0x20/0x44 imx_irqsteer_resume+0x28/0xe0 pm_generic_runtime_resume+0x2c/0x44 __genpd_runtime_resume+0x30/0x80 genpd_runtime_resume+0xc8/0x2c0 __rpm_callback+0x48/0x1d8 rpm_callback+0x6c/0x78 rpm_resume+0x490/0x6b4 __pm_runtime_resume+0x50/0x94 irq_chip_pm_get+0x2c/0xa0 __irq_do_set_handler+0x178/0x24c irq_set_chained_handler_and_data+0x60/0xa4 mxc_gpio_probe+0x160/0x4b0 Cure this by implementing the irq_bus_lock/sync_unlock() interrupt chip callbacks and handle power management in them as they are invoked from non-atomic context. CVE-2024-56723 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mfd: intel_soc_pmic_bxtwc: Use IRQ domain for PMIC devices While design wise the idea of converting the driver to use the hierarchy of the IRQ chips is correct, the implementation has (inherited) flaws. This was unveiled when platform_get_irq() had started WARN() on IRQ 0 that is supposed to be a Linux IRQ number (also known as vIRQ). Rework the driver to respect IRQ domain when creating each MFD device separately, as the domain is not the same for all of them.

Looking at the backtrace, the illegal instruction is encountered in this same function. However, patch_text_nosync, after patching the instructions, calls flush_icache_range. But looking at what happens in this function: flush_icache_range -> flush_icache_all -> sbi_remote_fence_i -> __sbi_rfence_v02 -> riscv_cpuid_to_hartid_mask The icache and dcache of the current cpu are never synchronized between the patching of riscv_cpuid_to_hartid_mask and calling this same function. So fix this by flushing the current cpu's icache before asking for the other cpus to do the same.

CVE-2024-20407 1 Cisco 2 Firepower Threat Defense, Firepower Threat Defense Software 2025-08-05 5.8 Medium
A vulnerability in the interaction between the TCP Intercept feature and the Snort 3 detection engine on Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass configured policies on an affected system. Devices that are configured with Snort 2 are not affected by this vulnerability. This vulnerability is due to a logic error when handling embryonic (half-open) TCP connections. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted traffic pattern through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow unintended traffic to enter the network protected by the affected device.
CVE-2017-6779 1 Cisco 13 Emergency Responder, Finesse, Hosted Collaboration Mediation Fulfillment and 10 more 2025-07-31 N/A
Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in local file management for certain system log files of Cisco collaboration products that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause high disk utilization, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability occurs because a certain system log file does not have a maximum size restriction. Therefore, the file is allowed to consume the majority of available disk space on the appliance. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted remote connection requests to the appliance. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to increase the size of a system log file so that it consumes most of the disk space. The lack of available disk space could lead to a DoS condition in which the application functions could operate abnormally, making the appliance unstable. This vulnerability affects the following Cisco Voice Operating System (VOS)-based products: Emergency Responder, Finesse, Hosted Collaboration Mediation Fulfillment, MediaSense, Prime License Manager, SocialMiner, Unified Communications Manager (UCM), Unified Communications Manager IM and Presence Service (IM&P - earlier releases were known as Cisco Unified Presence), Unified Communication Manager Session Management Edition (SME), Unified Contact Center Express (UCCx), Unified Intelligence Center (UIC), Unity Connection, Virtualized Voice Browser. This vulnerability also affects Prime Collaboration Assurance and Prime Collaboration Provisioning.
