NexTor IP Changer is a command-line tool that leverages the Tor network to periodically rotate a user's IP address. Versions prior to 2.0.0 execute privileged system commands using `sudo` and `shell=True` directly inside application logic. In environments where passwordless sudo (`NOPASSWD`) is enabled, privileged commands may execute silently without explicit user confirmation. Version 2.0.0 fixes the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: mm: Unconditionally sfence.vma for spurious fault Svvptc does not guarantee that it's safe to just return here. Since we have already cleared our bit, if, theoretically, the bounded timeframe for the accessed page to become valid still hasn't happened after sret, we could fault again and actually crash. Hopefully, these spurious faults should be rare enough that this is an acceptable slowdown.

User authentication with username and password credentials is ineffective in OpenText (Micro Focus) Visual COBOL, COBOL Server, Enterprise Developer, and Enterprise Server (including product variants such as Enterprise Test Server), versions 7.0 patch updates 19 and 20, 8.0 patch updates 8 and 9, and 9.0 patch update 1, when LDAP-based authentication is used with certain configurations. When the vulnerability is active, authentication succeeds with any valid username, regardless of whether the password is correct; it may also succeed with an invalid username (and any password). This allows an attacker with access to the product to impersonate any user. Mitigations: The issue is corrected in the upcoming patch update for each affected product. Product overlays and workaround instructions are available through OpenText Support. The vulnerable configurations are believed to be uncommon. Administrators can test for the vulnerability in their installations by attempting to sign on to a Visual COBOL or Enterprise Server component such as ESCWA using a valid username and incorrect password.

On situations like ftruncate, udf_extend_file() can now detect errors and bail out early without resorting to checking for particular offsets and assuming internal behavior of these functions.

This patch enables checks in case of the macro failure and ensures unmapping of previously mapped buffers with dma_unmap_sg(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Fix NFSv3 SETATTR/CREATE's handling of large file sizes iattr::ia_size is a loff_t, so these NFSv3 procedures must be careful to deal with incoming client size values that are larger than s64_max without corrupting the value. Silently capping the value results in storing a different value than the client passed in which is unexpected behavior, so remove the min_t() check in decode_sattr3(). Note that RFC 1813 permits only the WRITE procedure to return NFS3ERR_FBIG. We believe that NFSv3 reference implementations also return NFS3ERR_FBIG when ia_size is too large.

Telenia Software TVox 26.5.3 and prior 26.x versions, and 24.9.21 and prior 24.x versions, contain a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows attackers with access to the apache account to execute arbitrary commands as root by exploiting an insecure sudoers configuration in /etc/sudoers.d/telenia. The configuration grants the apache user NOPASSWD execution of /bin/nice, which can be leveraged to invoke arbitrary commands, enabling full root-level command execution without supplying a password.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: use opener credentials for ADS I/O Alternate data streams are stored as xattrs. Unlike regular file I/O, their read and write paths therefore call VFS xattr helpers which recheck inode permissions and LSM policy using the current task credentials. Run ADS I/O with the credentials captured when the SMB handle was opened.

A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to log in to an affected device using a low-privileged account to access sensitive data within the impacted systems. This vulnerability is due to the presence of static user credentials for a low-privileged account. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using the account to log in to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to log in to the affected system and access sensitive data as the low-privileged user.  Note: If the FMC management interface does not have public internet access, the attack surface that is associated with this vulnerability is reduced.   Cisco has assigned this security advisory a Security Impact Rating (SIR) of High rather than Medium as the score indicates. The reason is that this vulnerability can be used with other Cisco Secure FMC Software vulnerabilities to elevate privileges.
