| The authentication endpoint accepts user-supplied input without enforcing expected validation constraints, leading to a lack of proper output encoding. This allows for the injection of malicious JavaScript payloads, enabling reflected cross-site scripting.
An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to redirect the user's browser to a malicious website, modify the user interface of the web page, retrieve information from the browser, or cause other harmful actions. However, due to the protection of session-related cookies with the httpOnly flag, session hijacking is not possible. |
| Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in FUEL CMS v1.5.2 and before within the asset upload functionality. The application fails to properly sanitize uploaded SVG files, allowing a low-privileged authenticated user to upload a crafted SVG file containing malicious code. |
| The Check & Log Email WordPress plugin before 2.0.13 does not properly handle email replacement, which could allow unauthenticated users to perform Stored XSS attacks when the email encoder setting is enabled |
| A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in WebFileSys version before 2.32.0 and fixed in v.2.32.0. User-controlled input is reflected into HTML and JavaScript contexts without proper output encoding, allowing arbitrary JavaScript execution in the victim's browser via the ftpBackup functionality, authentication input handling, search functionality, and error message rendering components |
