In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sysctl: move the "cad_pid" entry from pid_table[] to kern_reboot_table[] cad_pid is global, and kill_cad_pid() is only used in the root namespace. However, due to pid_table_root_permissions(), a non-root user can unshare pid/user namespaces and modify it from the child namespace. This makes no sense and is simply wrong. Move it to kern_reboot_table[] where it logically belongs; this ensures that only GLOBAL_ROOT_UID can read/modify this sysctl. Note that this patch doesn't preserve "#ifdef CONFIG_PROC_SYSCTL" around the "cad_pid"; CONFIG_PROC_SYSCTL selects CONFIG_SYSCTL, so it is always set when kern_reboot_table[] is compiled.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smack: fix cred UAF in smack_file_send_sigiotask() When inspecting the credentials of another task, objective credentials (->real_cred, accessed with __task_cred()) must always be used. Accessing ->cred on a non-current task is forbidden unless that task is being created or destroyed; a task is allowed to change its own ->cred pointer with no synchronization, and changing ->cred should only affect the current syscall. smack_file_send_sigiotask() was accessing both sets of credentials: First tsk->cred, then __task_cred(tsk). Fix it, always access the objective credentials here. I have tested that this bug can lead to a KASAN-reported UAF of struct cred in smack_file_send_sigiotask(), and that this fix prevents the race.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: timekeeping: Check the return value of tk_get_aux_ts64 in __do_adjtimex() If the auxiliary clock is disabled during tk_get_aux_ts64() but is enabled before tks->clock_valid is checked, then uninitialized stackdata will be used in the calculations and indirectly leaked to userspace. The same race window also exists after this change and also for the core timekeeper. But in these cases the only effect would be incorrect adjustments and this is userspace's responsibility to avoid this.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix use-after-free in oplock break notification smb2_oplock_break_noti() reads opinfo->conn without any lock and dereferences it after two allocations which may sleep. When the durable handle owning the oplock is disconnected, session_fd_check() clears opinfo->conn and drops its conn reference under ci->m_lock, and the last ksmbd_conn_put() frees the connection. A break triggered by another connection that races with the teardown can then resurrect the freed connection: ksmbd_conn_get() is a plain atomic_inc, and the queued break work later dereferences the stale conn via ksmbd_conn_write(), a use-after-free reachable by any authenticated client holding a durable batch oplock. Thread the caller's inode into the notification path instead of taking a new reference on it. Every caller of oplock_break() already holds a live ksmbd_file (or an explicit ksmbd_inode_lookup_lock() reference, in the parent lease break paths) on the inode that owns the break target's oplock list, so ci cannot be freed during the call, and its lock can be taken without dereferencing opinfo->o_fp, which a concurrent close may free. Select and pin the connection under ci->m_lock, the same lock session_fd_check() and ksmbd_reopen_durable_fd() use to update opinfo->conn, so a concurrent detach either loses the race to the clear or keeps the connection alive until the notification work releases it. Transfer the reference to the work item and release it on allocation failures.

Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection via unserialize() calls in the Workflow, Form block, and File/Set components that lack the allowed_classes restriction. The Form block and File/Set sinks were addressed in 9.5.2; the Workflow component sinks were addressed in 9.5.3. An unauthenticated attacker may trigger arbitrary PHP object instantiation if a malicious serialized payload has been placed in the database. Thanks XananasX7 and Sanjorn Keeratirungsan (dizconnect) for independently reporting the original components, and sh4d0byss for reporting the Workflow component wasn't fixed in 9.5.2. AirSane is a SANE frontend, and a scanner server that supports Apple's AirScan protocol. Versions prior to 0.4.12 have a vulnerability in the custom HTTP server implementation of AirSane that allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via memory exhaustion (OOM). In httpserver.cpp, the HttpServer::Request::content function reads the Content-Length header and directly passes this value to std::string::resize() without any upper-bound validation or safe parsing. An attacker can send an HTTP POST request with an artificially large Content-Length value. This forces the daemon to attempt allocating gigabytes of memory, resulting in a std::bad_alloc exception and immediately crashing the AirSane process. Additionally, providing non-numeric characters in the Content-Length header leads to undefined behavior (NaN to integer conversion) due to the lack of error handling during header parsing. Version 0.4.12 patches the issue.

Laci Synchroni is a decentralized mod and appearance sync server and plugin for Dalamud. Versions of the backend prior to 1.2.3 have an improper authentication vulnerability in the application's OAuth2 login flow. The application relies on client-side state by trusting the `UID` field inside the `Authentications` object of a user's local `config.json` file. By manually editing this local file on their PC prior to logging in, a user can supply an arbitrary UID. Because the server fails to validate that the authenticated OAuth2 identity matches the requested UID, an attacker can fully impersonate any target user and perform actions on their behalf. This issue has been resolved in version 1.2.3. The patch modifies `AuthorizeOauthAsync` inside the `SecretKeyAuthenticatorService` to strictly bind the lookup of the requested User ID (`requestedUid`) to the record of the successfully authenticated identity (`primaryUid`). The server will no longer load or return session tokens for a requested UID unless it matches the verified, authenticated database record. No known workarounds are available.

A logic flaw in GetSimple CMS (v3.4.0a and below) and GetSimpleCMS-CE (v3.3.22 and below) allows unauthenticated attackers to create a new administrator account. The application features an automated security control designed to delete the sensitive `admin/setup.php` file post-installation. However, this control is neutralized by a self-exclusion bug within the deletion logic, leaving the setup script accessible for unauthorized account creation even after a legitimate installation is completed. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available.

NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. The `nl.nl-portal:documenten-api` package through version 3.0.0 and the `nl.nl-portal:besluiten` package from version 1.5.0 through 3.0.0 lack per-user authorization in GraphQL resolvers, allowing an authenticated user to access other users’ document contents, decisions, audit trails, and decision attachments. Version 3.0.1 contains a patch. As a workaround, block the affected document-content and decision-related GraphQL operations at the API gateway or block their GraphQL types entirely.

NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. In versions up to and including 3.0.0, deployments using the shipped default configuration exposed two GraphQL developer features without requiring authentication: the GraphiQL playground, an interactive UI for issuing GraphQL queries; and schema introspection, which lets a caller download the full description of every query, mutation, type, and argument the API supports. Anyone who could reach the `/graphiql` endpoint could open the playground in a browser, pull the full schema, and use that to map out the API and craft calls against it. By itself this does not leak user data, but it removes the guesswork from attacking the rest of the API and significantly lowers the bar for finding and exploiting other weaknesses. Version 3.0.1 patches the issue. As a workaround, override the two settings in deployed configuration.
