CVSS v3.1 |
The e-School from Ventem has a Arbitrary File Upload vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to upload and execute web shell backdoors, thereby enabling arbitrary code execution on the server.
The Gutenberg Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to the users can specify the allowed file types in the 'upload' function in versions up to, and including, 2.2.9. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
The Wechat Social login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to insufficient file type validation in the 'convert_remoteimage_to_local' function in versions up to, and including, 1.3.0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
| The Versa Director SD-WAN orchestration platform provides an option to upload various types of files. The Versa Director does not correctly limit file upload permissions. The UI appears not to allow file uploads but uploads still succeed. In addition, the Versa Director discloses the full filename of uploaded temporary files, including the UUID prefix. Insecure UCPE image upload in Versa Director allows an authenticated attacker to upload a webshell.
Exploitation Status:
Versa Networks is not aware of any reported instance where this vulnerability was exploited. Proof of concept for this vulnerability has been disclosed by third party security researchers.
Workarounds or Mitigation:
There are no workarounds to disable the GUI option. Versa recommends that Director be upgraded to one of the remediated software versions. |
The Template Kit – Import plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the template upload functionality in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.14 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The MapSVG plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via SVG File uploads in all versions up to, and including, 8.6.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the SVG file.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in Bravis-Themes Bravis Addons bravis-addons allows Using Malicious Files. This issue affects Bravis Addons: from n/a through <= 1.3.0.
The AI Power: Complete AI Pack plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the 'handle_image_upload' function in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.89. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
A vulnerability was detected in eCharge Hardy Barth Salia PLCC up to 2.3.81. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /firmware.php of the component Web UI. Performing a manipulation of the argument media results in unrestricted upload. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in zozothemes Wiguard wiguard allows Upload a Web Shell to a Web Server. This issue affects Wiguard: from n/a through < 2.0.1.
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the Ueditor component of productinfoquick v1.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via uploading a crafted PNG file.
Certain models of ASUS routers have an arbitrary firmware upload vulnerability. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary system commands on the device.
** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** ** DISPUTED ** A vulnerability has been found in cyberaz0r WebRAT up to 20191222 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects the function download_file of the file Server/api.php. The manipulation of the argument name leads to unrestricted upload. The attack can be initiated remotely. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The patch is identified as 0c394a795b9c10c07085361e6fcea286ee793701. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. VDB-257782 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. NOTE: The issue, discovered in a 20-stars GitHub project (now private) by its author, had CVE requested by a third party 4 years post-resolution, referencing the fix commit (now a broken link). Due to minimal attention and usage, it should not be eligible for CVE according to the project maintainer.
An unauthenticated file upload vulnerability exists in the Fanwei E-Office <= v9.4 web management interface. The vulnerability affects the /general/index/UploadFile.php endpoint, which improperly validates uploaded files when invoked with certain parameters (uploadType=eoffice_logo or uploadType=theme). An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to upload arbitrary files without requiring authentication. Successful exploitation could enable remote code execution on the affected server, leading to complete compromise of the web application and potentially the underlying system. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-05 UTC.
A security vulnerability has been detected in Iqbolshoh php-business-website up to 10677743a8dfc281f85291a27cf63a0bce043c24. This affects an unknown part of the file /admin/about.php. The manipulation leads to unrestricted upload. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available.
An unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in ProcessMaker versions prior to 3.5.4 due to improper handling of uploaded plugin archives. An attacker with administrative privileges can upload a malicious .tar plugin file containing arbitrary PHP code. Upon installation, the plugin’s install() method is invoked, resulting in execution of attacker-supplied PHP code on the server with the privileges of the web server user. This vulnerability can be chained with CVE-2022-38577 — a privilege escalation flaw in the user profile page — to achieve full remote code execution from a low-privileged account.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in zozothemes Miion miion allows Upload a Web Shell to a Web Server. This issue affects Miion: from n/a through <= 1.2.7.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in blazethemes News Event news-event.This issue affects News Event: from n/a through <= 1.0.1.
Incorrect handling of uploaded files in the admin "Restore" function in Invoice Ninja <= 5.11.72 allows attackers with admin credentials to execute arbitrary code on the server via uploaded .php files.
An unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in BuilderEngine 3.5.0 via the integration of the elFinder 2.0 file manager and its use of the jQuery File Upload plugin. The plugin fails to properly validate or restrict file types or locations during upload operations, allowing an attacker to upload a malicious .php file and subsequently execute arbitrary PHP code on the server under the context of the web server process. While the root vulnerability lies within the jQuery File Upload component, BuilderEngine’s improper integration and lack of access controls expose this functionality to unauthenticated users, resulting in full remote code execution.
