CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Fix null pointer deref in dcn20_resource.c
Fixes a hang thats triggered when MPV is run on a DCN401 dGPU:
mpv --hwdec=vaapi --vo=gpu --hwdec-codecs=all
and then enabling fullscreen playback (double click on the video)
The following calltrace will be seen:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: ethtool: fix the error condition in ethtool_get_phy_stats_ethtool()
Clang static checker (scan-build) warning:
net/ethtool/ioctl.c:line 2233, column 2
Called function pointer is null (null dereference).
Return '-EOPNOTSUPP' when 'ops->get_ethtool_phy_stats' is NULL to fix
this typo error. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iomap: allocate s_dio_done_wq for async reads as well
Since commit 222f2c7c6d14 ("iomap: always run error completions in user
context"), read error completions are deferred to s_dio_done_wq. This
means the workqueue also needs to be allocated for async reads. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfrm: state: initialize state_ptrs earlier in xfrm_state_find
In case of preemption, xfrm_state_look_at will find a different
pcpu_id and look up states for that other CPU. If we matched a state
for CPU2 in the state_cache while the lookup started on CPU1, we will
jump to "found", but the "best" state that we got will be ignored and
we will enter the "acquire" block. This block uses state_ptrs, which
isn't initialized at this point.
Let's initialize state_ptrs just after taking rcu_read_lock. This will
also prevent a possible misuse in the future, if someone adjusts this
function. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: stmmac: protect updates of 64-bit statistics counters
As explained by a comment in <linux/u64_stats_sync.h>, write side of struct
u64_stats_sync must ensure mutual exclusion, or one seqcount update could
be lost on 32-bit platforms, thus blocking readers forever. Such lockups
have been observed in real world after stmmac_xmit() on one CPU raced with
stmmac_napi_poll_tx() on another CPU.
To fix the issue without introducing a new lock, split the statics into
three parts:
1. fields updated only under the tx queue lock,
2. fields updated only during NAPI poll,
3. fields updated only from interrupt context,
Updates to fields in the first two groups are already serialized through
other locks. It is sufficient to split the existing struct u64_stats_sync
so that each group has its own.
Note that tx_set_ic_bit is updated from both contexts. Split this counter
so that each context gets its own, and calculate their sum to get the total
value in stmmac_get_ethtool_stats().
For the third group, multiple interrupts may be processed by different CPUs
at the same time, but interrupts on the same CPU will not nest. Move fields
from this group to a newly created per-cpu struct stmmac_pcpu_stats. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: drop redundant sched job cleanup when cs is aborted
Once command submission failed due to userptr invalidation in
amdgpu_cs_submit, legacy code will perform cleanup of scheduler
job. However, it's not needed at all, as former commit has integrated
job cleanup stuff into amdgpu_job_free. Otherwise, because of double
free, a NULL pointer dereference will occur in such scenario.

| This CVE ID was assigned in error to a vulnerability that was both introduced and fixed before the code landed in the Stable channel of Chrome, and has been withdrawn. |
| net-snmp is a SNMP application library, tools and daemon. Prior to versions 5.9.5 and 5.10.pre2, a specially crafted packet to an net-snmp snmptrapd daemon can cause a buffer overflow and the daemon to crash. This issue has been patched in versions 5.9.5 and 5.10.pre2. |
| CryptoLib provides a software-only solution using the CCSDS Space Data Link Security Protocol - Extended Procedures (SDLS-EP) to secure communications between a spacecraft running the core Flight System (cFS) and a ground station. Prior to 1.4.2, there is a missing bounds check in Crypto_Key_update() (crypto_key_mgmt.c) which allows a remote attacker to trigger a stack-based buffer overflow by supplying a TLV packet with a spoofed length field. The function calculates the number of keys from an attacker-controlled field (pdu_len), which may exceed the static array size (kblk[98]), leading to an out-of-bounds write and potential memory corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.2. |
| The Simple Ajax Chat WordPress plugin before 20240412 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup) |
| The YaDisk Files WordPress plugin through 1.2.5 does not validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in a page/post where the shortcode is embed, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_reject: don't leak dst refcount for loopback packets
recent patches to add a WARN() when replacing skb dst entry found an
old bug:

This is because blamed commit forgot about loopback packets.
Such packets already have a dst_entry attached, even at PRE_ROUTING stage.
Instead of checking hook just check if the skb already has a route
attached to it. |

| An integer underflow vulnerability exists in the `nextstate()` function in `gpsd/packet.c` of gpsd versions prior to commit `ffa1d6f40bca0b035fc7f5e563160ebb67199da7`. When parsing a NAVCOM packet, the payload length is calculated using `lexer->length = (size_t)c - 4` without checking if the input byte `c` is less than 4. This results in an unsigned integer underflow, setting `lexer->length` to a very large value (near `SIZE_MAX`). The parser then enters a loop attempting to consume this massive number of bytes, causing 100% CPU utilization and a Denial of Service (DoS) condition. |

| Tosibox Key Service 3.3.0 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local non-privileged users to potentially execute code with elevated system privileges. Attackers can exploit the service startup process by inserting malicious code in the system root path, enabling unauthorized code execution during application startup or system reboot. |
