CVE Vendors Products Updated CVSS v3.1
CVE-2004-0889 11 Debian, Easy Software Products, Gentoo and 8 more 16 Debian Linux, Cups, Linux and 13 more 2026-04-16 N/A
Multiple integer overflows in xpdf 3.0, and other packages that use xpdf code such as CUPS, allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code, a different set of vulnerabilities than those identified by CVE-2004-0888.
CVE-2004-0918 6 Gentoo, Openpkg, Redhat and 3 more 7 Linux, Openpkg, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2026-04-16 N/A
The asn_parse_header function (asn1.c) in the SNMP module for Squid Web Proxy Cache before 2.4.STABLE7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (server restart) via certain SNMP packets with negative length fields that trigger a memory allocation error.
CVE-2004-1071 5 Linux, Redhat, Suse and 2 more 8 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2026-04-16 N/A
The binfmt_elf loader (binfmt_elf.c) in Linux kernel 2.4.x up to 2.4.27, and 2.6.x up to 2.6.8, does not properly handle a failed call to the mmap function, which causes an incorrect mapped image and may allow local users to execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2004-0986 4 Debian, Linux, Redhat and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Fedora Core and 1 more 2026-04-16 N/A
Iptables before 1.2.11, under certain conditions, does not properly load the required modules at system startup, which causes the firewall rules to fail to load and protect the system from remote attackers.
CVE-2004-1067 3 Carnegie Mellon University, Redhat, Ubuntu 3 Cyrus Imap Server, Fedora Core, Ubuntu Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
Off-by-one error in the mysasl_canon_user function in Cyrus IMAP Server 2.2.9 and earlier leads to a buffer overflow, which may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via the username.
CVE-2004-0234 8 Clearswift, F-secure, Rarlab and 5 more 15 Mailsweeper, F-secure Anti-virus, F-secure For Firewalls and 12 more 2026-04-16 N/A
Multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the get_header function in header.c for LHA 1.14, as used in products such as Barracuda Spam Firewall, allow remote attackers or local users to execute arbitrary code via long directory or file names in an LHA archive, which triggers the overflow when testing or extracting the archive.
CVE-2004-0827 9 Conectiva, Enlightenment, Imagemagick and 6 more 14 Linux, Imlib, Imlib2 and 11 more 2026-04-16 N/A
Multiple buffer overflows in the ImageMagick graphics library 5.x before 5.4.4, and 6.x before 6.0.6.2, allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via malformed (1) AVI, (2) BMP, or (3) DIB files.
CVE-2005-3630 1 Redhat 1 Fedora Core 2026-04-16 N/A
Fedora Directory Server before 10 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information, such as the password from adm.conf via an IFRAME element, probably involving an Apache httpd.conf configuration that orders "allow" directives before "deny" directives.
CVE-2004-0949 5 Linux, Redhat, Suse and 2 more 8 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2026-04-16 N/A
The smb_recv_trans2 function call in the samba filesystem (smbfs) in Linux kernel 2.4 and 2.6 does not properly handle the re-assembly of fragmented packets correctly, which could allow remote samba servers to (1) read arbitrary kernel information or (2) raise a counter value to an arbitrary number by sending the first part of the fragmented packet multiple times.
CVE-2004-0974 3 Mandrakesoft, Netatalk, Redhat 4 Mandrake Linux, Mandrake Linux Corporate Server, Open Source Apple File Share Protocol Suite and 1 more 2026-04-16 N/A
The netatalk package in Trustix Secure Linux 1.5 through 2.1, and possibly other operating systems, allows local users to overwrite files via a symlink attack on temporary files.
CVE-2022-3675 1 Redhat 1 Fedora Coreos 2025-05-02 2.6 Low
Fedora CoreOS supports setting a GRUB bootloader password using a Butane config. When this feature is enabled, GRUB requires a password to access the GRUB command-line, modify kernel command-line arguments, or boot non-default OSTree deployments. Recent Fedora CoreOS releases have a misconfiguration which allows booting non-default OSTree deployments without entering a password. This allows someone with access to the GRUB menu to boot into an older version of Fedora CoreOS, reverting any security fixes that have recently been applied to the machine. A password is still required to modify kernel command-line arguments and to access the GRUB command line.
