CVE-2026-6643 1 Asustor 2 Adm, Data Master 2026-04-22 9.9 Critical
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the VPN Clients on the ADM. The issue stems from the use of unbounded sscanf() and passing user-controlled data directly to printf(). Due to the lack of PIE and Stack Canary protections, an authenticated remote attacker can exploit these to execute arbitrary code as the web server user. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RR42 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.2.REO1.
CVE-2013-2597 1 Codeaurora 1 Android-msm 2026-04-22 8.4 High
Stack-based buffer overflow in the acdb_ioctl function in audio_acdb.c in the acdb audio driver for the Linux kernel 2.6.x and 3.x, as used in Qualcomm Innovation Center (QuIC) Android contributions for MSM devices and other products, allows attackers to gain privileges via an application that leverages /dev/msm_acdb access and provides a large size value in an ioctl argument.
CVE-2009-0927 2 Adobe, Redhat 2 Acrobat Reader, Rhel Extras 2026-04-22 8.8 High
Stack-based buffer overflow in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat 9 before 9.1, 8 before 8.1.3 , and 7 before 7.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted argument to the getIcon method of a Collab object, a different vulnerability than CVE-2009-0658.
CVE-2025-9820 1 Redhat 7 Ceph Storage, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2026-04-22 4 Medium
A flaw was found in the GnuTLS library, specifically in the gnutls_pkcs11_token_init() function that handles PKCS#11 token initialization. When a token label longer than expected is processed, the function writes past the end of a fixed-size stack buffer. This programming error can cause the application using GnuTLS to crash or, in certain conditions, be exploited for code execution. As a result, systems or applications relying on GnuTLS may be vulnerable to a denial of service or local privilege escalation attacks.
CVE-2014-9163 5 Adobe, Apple, Linux and 2 more 5 Flash Player, Mac Os X, Linux Kernel and 2 more 2026-04-21 7.8 High
Stack-based buffer overflow in Adobe Flash Player before 13.0.0.259 and 14.x and 15.x before 15.0.0.246 on Windows and OS X and before 11.2.202.425 on Linux allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors, as exploited in the wild in December 2014.
CVE-2010-2883 4 Adobe, Apple, Microsoft and 1 more 5 Acrobat, Acrobat Reader, Macos and 2 more 2026-04-21 7.3 High
Stack-based buffer overflow in CoolType.dll in Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.x before 9.4, and 8.x before 8.2.5 on Windows and Mac OS X, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via a PDF document with a long field in a Smart INdependent Glyphlets (SING) table in a TTF font, as exploited in the wild in September 2010. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.

Stack-based buffer overflow in the CComVariant::ReadFromStream function in the Active Template Library (ATL), as used in the MPEG2TuneRequest ActiveX control in msvidctl.dll in DirectShow, in Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2 and SP3, Server 2003 SP2, Vista Gold, SP1, and SP2, and Server 2008 Gold and SP2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted web page, as exploited in the wild in July 2009, aka "Microsoft Video ActiveX Control Vulnerability."
CVE-2026-40489 1 Editorconfig 1 Editorconfig 2026-04-20 N/A
editorconfig-core-c is an EditorConfig core library for use by plugins supporting EditorConfig parsing. Versions up to and including 0.12.10 have a stack-based buffer overflow in ec_glob() that allows an attacker to crash any application using libeditorconfig by providing a specially crafted directory structure and .editorconfig file. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-0341. The pcre_str buffer was protected in 0.12.6 but the adjacent l_pattern[8194] stack buffer received no equivalent protection. On Ubuntu 24.04, FORTIFY_SOURCE converts the overflow to SIGABRT (DoS). Version 0.12.11 contains an updated fix.
CVE-2026-40170 1 Ngtcp2 1 Ngtcp2 2026-04-20 7.5 High
ngtcp2 is a C implementation of the IETF QUIC protocol. In versions prior to 1.22.1, ngtcp2_qlog_parameters_set_transport_params() serializes peer transport parameters into a fixed 1024-byte stack buffer without bounds checking. When qlog is enabled, a remote peer can send sufficiently large transport parameters during the QUIC handshake to cause writes beyond the buffer boundary, resulting in a stack buffer overflow. This affects deployments that enable the qlog callback and process untrusted peer transport parameters. This issue has been fixed in version 1.22.1. If developers are unable to immediately upgrade, they can disable the qlog on client.
CVE-2025-6021 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 30 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 27 more 2026-04-20 7.5 High
A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input.
CVE-2025-6170 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 6 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Jboss Core Services and 3 more 2026-04-20 2.5 Low
A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections.
CVE-2026-34555 2 Color, Internationalcolorconsortium 2 Iccdev, Iccdev 2026-04-20 6.2 Medium
iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools for working with ICC color management profiles. Prior to version 2.3.1.6, there is a stack-buffer-overflow (SBO) in CIccTagFixedNum<>::GetValues() and a related bug chain. The primary crash is an AddressSanitizer-reported WRITE of size 4 that overflows a 4-byte stack variable (rv) via the call chain CIccTagFixedNum::GetValues() -> CIccTagStruct::GetElemNumberValue(). This issue has been patched in version 2.3.1.6.
CVE-2026-34542 2 Color, Internationalcolorconsortium 2 Iccdev, Iccdev 2026-04-20 6.2 Medium
iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools for working with ICC color management profiles. Prior to version 2.3.1.6, a crafted ICC profile can trigger a stack-buffer-overflow (SBO) in CIccCalculatorFunc::Apply() when processed via iccApplyNamedCmm. Under AddressSanitizer, the failure is reported as a 4-byte write stack-buffer-overflow in IccProfLib/IccMpeCalc.cpp:3873, reachable through the MPE calculator / curve set initialization path. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.1.6.
CVE-2026-4747 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-04-20 8.8 High
Each RPCSEC_GSS data packet is validated by a routine which checks a signature in the packet. This routine copies a portion of the packet into a stack buffer, but fails to ensure that the buffer is sufficiently large, and a malicious client can trigger a stack overflow. Notably, this does not require the client to authenticate itself first. As kgssapi.ko's RPCSEC_GSS implementation is vulnerable, remote code execution in the kernel is possible by an authenticated user that is able to send packets to the kernel's NFS server while kgssapi.ko is loaded into the kernel. In userspace, applications which have librpcgss_sec loaded and run an RPC server are vulnerable to remote code execution from any client able to send it packets. We are not aware of any such applications in the FreeBSD base system.
