CVSS v3.1 |
The wpDataTables – WordPress Data Table, Dynamic Tables & Table Charts Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 6.5.0.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the prepareCellOutput() method of the LinkWDTColumn, ImageWDTColumn, and EmailWDTColumn classes. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, given that they can trick an Administrator into importing data from an attacker-controlled source and the affected column types (Link, Image, or Email) are configured.
The Simple Random Posts Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'container_right_width' attribute of the 'simple_random_posts' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 0.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Quran Live Multilanguage plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'cheikh' and 'lang' shortcode attributes in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes. The quran_live_render() function of quran-live.php receives shortcode attributes and passes them directly through shortcode_atts() and extract() without any sanitization. These values are then passed to Render_Quran_Live::render_verse_quran_live() where they are echoed directly into inline <script> blocks using PHP short tags (<?=$cheikh;?> and <?=$lang;?>) at lines 191, 216, 217, 245, and 246 of Class_QuranLive.php. Since the output occurs inside a JavaScript context within <script> tags, an attacker can break out of the JavaScript string and inject arbitrary script code. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Posts map plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'name' shortcode attribute in all versions up to, and including, 0.1.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The OneSignal – Web Push Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in versions up to, and including, 3.8.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete OneSignal metadata for arbitrary posts.
The Page Builder Gutenberg Blocks – CoBlocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via external iCal feed data in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.16 due to insufficient output escaping of event titles, descriptions, and locations fetched from external iCal feeds in the Events block rendering function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The BetterDocs plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'betterdocs_feedback_form' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.8. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied shortcode attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The OPEN-BRAIN plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'API Key' settings field in all versions up to, and including, 0.5.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The plugin uses sanitize_text_field() which strips HTML tags but does not encode double quotes or other HTML-special characters needed for safe attribute context output. The API key value is saved via update_option() and later output into an HTML input element's value attribute without esc_attr() escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access, to inject arbitrary web scripts via attribute breakout payloads (e.g., double quotes followed by event handlers) that execute whenever a user accesses the plugin settings page.
The TP Restore Categories And Taxonomies plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1. The delete_term() function, which handles the 'tpmcattt_delete_term' AJAX action, does not perform any capability check (e.g., current_user_can()) to verify the user has sufficient permissions. While it does verify a nonce via check_ajax_referer(), this nonce is generated for all authenticated users via the admin_enqueue_scripts hook and exposed on any wp-admin page (including profile.php, which subscribers can access). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to permanently delete taxonomy term records from the plugin's trash/backup tables by sending a crafted AJAX request with a valid nonce and an arbitrary term_id.
All plugins by Essentialplugin for WordPress are vulnerable to an injected backdoor in various versions. This is due to the plugin being sold to a malicious threat actor that embedded a backdoor in all of the plugin's they acquired. This makes it possible for the threat actor to maintain a persistent backdoor and inject spam into the affected sites.
The Easy Social Photos Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wrapper_class' shortcode attribute of the 'my-instagram-feed' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. Specifically, the plugin uses sanitize_text_field() instead of esc_attr() when outputting the 'wrapper_class' attribute inside a double-quoted HTML class attribute. Since sanitize_text_field() does not encode double quotes, an attacker can break out of the class attribute and inject arbitrary HTML event handlers. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Form Maker by 10Web plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'ip_search', 'startdate', 'enddate', 'username_search', and 'useremail_search' parameters in all versions up to, and including, 1.15.40. This is due to the `WDW_FM_Library::validate_data()` method calling `stripslashes()` on user input (removing WordPress's `wp_magic_quotes()` protection) and the `FMModelSubmissions_fm::get_labels_parameters()` function directly concatenating user-supplied values into SQL queries without using `$wpdb->prepare()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Additionally, the Submissions controller skips nonce verification for the `display` task, which means this vulnerability can be triggered via CSRF by tricking an administrator into clicking a crafted link.
The Livemesh Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 9.0. This is due to insufficient sanitization of the template name parameter in the `lae_get_template_part()` function, which uses an inadequate `str_replace()` approach that can be bypassed using recursive directory traversal patterns. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the attacker to include and execute local files via the widget's template parameter granted they can trick an administrator into performing an action or install Elementor.
The Call To Action Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.3. This is due to missing nonce validation in the cbox_options_page() function which handles saving, creating, and deleting plugin settings. The form rendered on the settings page does not include a wp_nonce_field(), and the save handler does not call wp_verify_nonce() or check_admin_referer() before processing settings updates via $wpdb->update(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify plugin settings such as call-to-action box title, content, link URL, image URL, colors, and other configuration options via a forged request, granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The MxChat – AI Chatbot for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.5 via upload filenames. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract session values that can subsequently be used to access conversation data.
The Stumble! for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the `$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']` variable in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The Frontend Admin by DynamiApps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.28.29. This is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied role values in the 'validate_value', 'pre_update_value', and 'get_fields_display' functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register as administrators and gain complete control of the site, granted they can access a user registration form containing a Role field.
The BIALTY - Bulk Image Alt Text (Alt tag, Alt Attribute) with Yoast SEO + WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'bialty_cs_alt' post meta in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever an administrator accesses the post editor.
The Entry Views plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'entry-views' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Lesson Plan Book plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the `$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']` variable in all versions up to, and including, 1.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
