CVSS v3.1 |
InnovaStudio WYSIWYG Editor 5.4 contains an unrestricted file upload vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass file extension restrictions through filename manipulation. Attackers can upload malicious ASP shells by using null byte techniques and alternate file extensions to circumvent upload controls in the asset manager.
The AP Background plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing authorization and insufficient file validation within the advParallaxBackAdminSaveSlider() handler in versions 3.8.1 to 3.8.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
LiveBOS, an object-oriented business architecture middleware suite developed by Apex Software Co., Ltd., contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in its UploadFile.do;.js.jsp endpoint. This flaw affects the LiveBOS Server component and allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload crafted files outside the intended directory structure via path traversal in the filename parameter. Successful exploitation may lead to remote code execution on the server, enabling full system compromise. The vulnerability is presumed to affect builds released prior to August 2024 and is said to be remediated in newer versions of the product, though the exact affected range remains undefined. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-08-23 UTC.
The WordPress Mega Menu plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Creation in versions up to, and including, 2.0.6 via the compiler_save AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary PHP files that can be used to execute malicious code.
The YayExtra – WooCommerce Extra Product Options plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the handle_upload_file function in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.7. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
The "NagVis" component within Checkmk is vulnerable to remote code execution. An authenticated attacker with administrative level privileges is able to upload a malicious PHP file and modify specific settings to execute the contents of the file as PHP.
CHANGING Mobile One Time Password's uploading function in a hidden page does not filter file type properly. Remote attackers with administrator privilege can exploit this vulnerability to upload and run malicious file to execute system commands.
KUNO CMS is a fully deployable full-stack blog application. Versions 1.3.13 and below contain validation flaws in its file upload functionality that can be exploited for stored XSS. The upload endpoint only validates file types based on Content-Type headers, lacks file content analysis and extension whitelist restrictions, allowing attackers to upload SVG files containing malicious scripts (disguised as images). When users access the uploaded resource pages, arbitrary JavaScript executes in their browsers. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.14.
Flatnux 2021-03.25 contains an authenticated file upload vulnerability that allows administrative users to upload arbitrary PHP files through the file manager. Attackers with admin credentials can upload malicious PHP scripts to the web root directory, enabling remote code execution on the server.
An unauthenticated unrestricted file upload vulnerability allows an attacker to upload malicious binaries and scripts to the server.
Document Management System developed by Excellent Infotek has an Arbitrary File Upload vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to upload and execute web shell backdoors, thereby enabling arbitrary code execution on the server.
The Ready_ application's Profile section allows users to upload files of any type and extension without restriction. If the server is misconfigured, as it was by default when installed at the turn of 2021 and 2022, it can result in Remote Code Execution. Refer to the Required Configuration for Exposure section for more information.
A security vulnerability has been detected in Jiusi OA up to 20251102. This affects an unknown function of the file /OfficeServer?isAjaxDownloadTemplate=false of the component OfficeServer Interface. Such manipulation of the argument FileData leads to unrestricted upload. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used.
A vulnerability was identified in SiempreCMS up to 1.3.6. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /docs/admin/file_upload.php. Such manipulation leads to unrestricted upload. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used.
The WP3D Model Import Viewer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the handle_import_file() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.7. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the component \Roaming\Omega of OmegaT v6.0.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via uploading a crafted .conf file.
| An arbitrary file upload vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to improper validation of user input in SOAP admin services. A malicious actor with administrative privileges can upload an arbitrary file to a user-controlled location on the server.
By leveraging this vulnerability, an attacker could upload a specially crafted payload, potentially achieving remote code execution (RCE) on the server. Exploitation requires valid admin credentials, limiting its impact to authorized but potentially malicious users. |
This vulnerability allows a high-privileged authenticated PAM user to achieve remote command execution on the affected PAM system by uploading a specially crafted upgrade file.
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in YPay 1.2.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a ZIP archive to themePutFile in app/common/util/Upload.php (called from app/admin/controller/ypay/Home.php). The file extension of an uncompressed file is not checked.
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability was reported in the Lenovo Scanner Pro client during an internal security assessment that could allow remote code execution or unauthorized control of the affected system.
