A flaw was found in codeplex-codehaus. A directory traversal attack (also known as path traversal) aims to access files and directories stored outside the intended folder. By manipulating files with "dot-dot-slash (../)" sequences and their variations or by using absolute file paths, it may be possible to access arbitrary files and directories stored on the file system, including application source code, configuration, and other critical system files.
CVE-2025-27611 1 Redhat 1 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform 2025-05-02 7.5 High
base-x is a base encoder and decoder of any given alphabet using bitcoin style leading zero compression. Versions 4.0.0, 5.0.0, and all prior to 3.0.11, are vulnerable to attackers potentially deceiving users into sending funds to an unintended address. This issue has been patched in versions 3.0.11, 4.0.1, and 5.0.1.
CVE-2020-25638 5 Debian, Hibernate, Oracle and 2 more 15 Debian Linux, Hibernate Orm, Communications Cloud Native Core Console and 12 more 2025-04-23 7.4 High
A flaw was found in hibernate-core in versions prior to and including 5.4.23.Final. A SQL injection in the implementation of the JPA Criteria API can permit unsanitized literals when a literal is used in the SQL comments of the query. This flaw could allow an attacker to access unauthorized information or possibly conduct further attacks. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity.
CVE-2022-24823 4 Netapp, Netty, Oracle and 1 more 10 Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Snapcenter and 7 more 2025-04-22 5.5 Medium
Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework. The package `io.netty:netty-codec-http` prior to version 4.1.77.Final contains an insufficient fix for CVE-2021-21290. When Netty's multipart decoders are used local information disclosure can occur via the local system temporary directory if temporary storing uploads on the disk is enabled. This only impacts applications running on Java version 6 and lower. Additionally, this vulnerability impacts code running on Unix-like systems, and very old versions of Mac OSX and Windows as they all share the system temporary directory between all users. Version 4.1.77.Final contains a patch for this vulnerability. As a workaround, specify one's own `java.io.tmpdir` when starting the JVM or use DefaultHttpDataFactory.setBaseDir(...) to set the directory to something that is only readable by the current user.
CVE-2022-36033 3 Jsoup, Netapp, Redhat 6 Jsoup, Management Services For Element Software, Management Services For Netapp Hci and 3 more 2025-04-22 6.1 Medium
jsoup is a Java HTML parser, built for HTML editing, cleaning, scraping, and cross-site scripting (XSS) safety. jsoup may incorrectly sanitize HTML including `javascript:` URL expressions, which could allow XSS attacks when a reader subsequently clicks that link. If the non-default `SafeList.preserveRelativeLinks` option is enabled, HTML including `javascript:` URLs that have been crafted with control characters will not be sanitized. If the site that this HTML is published on does not set a Content Security Policy, an XSS attack is then possible. This issue is patched in jsoup 1.15.3. Users should upgrade to this version. Additionally, as the unsanitized input may have been persisted, old content should be cleaned again using the updated version. To remediate this issue without immediately upgrading: - disable `SafeList.preserveRelativeLinks`, which will rewrite input URLs as absolute URLs - ensure an appropriate [Content Security Policy](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CSP) is defined. (This should be used regardless of upgrading, as a defence-in-depth best practice.)
CVE-2022-41881 3 Debian, Netty, Redhat 14 Debian Linux, Netty, Camel Quarkus and 11 more 2025-04-22 5.3 Medium
Netty project is an event-driven asynchronous network application framework. In versions prior to 4.1.86.Final, a StackOverflowError can be raised when parsing a malformed crafted message due to an infinite recursion. This issue is patched in version 4.1.86.Final. There is no workaround, except using a custom HaProxyMessageDecoder.
CVE-2022-45693 3 Debian, Jettison Project, Redhat 10 Debian Linux, Jettison, Camel Spring Boot and 7 more 2025-04-22 7.5 High
Jettison before v1.5.2 was discovered to contain a stack overflow via the map parameter. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted string.
CVE-2022-46364 2 Apache, Redhat 10 Cxf, Camel Spring Boot, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 7 more 2025-04-22 9.8 Critical
A SSRF vulnerability in parsing the href attribute of XOP:Include in MTOM requests in versions of Apache CXF before 3.5.5 and 3.4.10 allows an attacker to perform SSRF style attacks on webservices that take at least one parameter of any type.
CVE-2022-46363 2 Apache, Redhat 9 Cxf, Camel K, Camel Spring Boot and 6 more 2025-04-22 7.5 High
A vulnerability in Apache CXF before versions 3.5.5 and 3.4.10 allows an attacker to perform a remote directory listing or code exfiltration. The vulnerability only applies when the CXFServlet is configured with both the static-resources-list and redirect-query-check attributes. These attributes are not supposed to be used together, and so the vulnerability can only arise if the CXF service is misconfigured.
CVE-2022-40149 3 Debian, Jettison Project, Redhat 11 Debian Linux, Jettison, Amq Streams and 8 more 2025-04-21 6.5 Medium
Those using Jettison to parse untrusted XML or JSON data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by stackoverflow. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-40150 3 Debian, Jettison Project, Redhat 11 Debian Linux, Jettison, Amq Streams and 8 more 2025-04-21 6.5 Medium
Those using Jettison to parse untrusted XML or JSON data may be vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks (DOS). If the parser is running on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to crash by Out of memory. This effect may support a denial of service attack.
CVE-2022-41853 3 Debian, Hsqldb, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Hypersql Database, Camel Spring Boot and 5 more 2025-04-21 8 High
Those using java.sql.Statement or java.sql.PreparedStatement in hsqldb (HyperSQL DataBase) to process untrusted input may be vulnerable to a remote code execution attack. By default it is allowed to call any static method of any Java class in the classpath resulting in code execution. The issue can be prevented by updating to 2.7.1 or by setting the system property "hsqldb.method_class_names" to classes which are allowed to be called. For example, System.setProperty("hsqldb.method_class_names", "abc") or Java argument -Dhsqldb.method_class_names="abc" can be used. From version 2.7.1 all classes by default are not accessible except those in java.lang.Math and need to be manually enabled.
CVE-2017-7561 1 Redhat 1 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform 2025-04-20 N/A
Red Hat JBoss EAP version 3.0.7 through before 4.0.0.Beta1 is vulnerable to a server-side cache poisoning or CORS requests in the JAX-RS component resulting in a moderate impact.
CVE-2016-8610 7 Debian, Fujitsu, Netapp and 4 more 55 Debian Linux, M10-1, M10-1 Firmware and 52 more 2025-04-20 7.5 High
A denial of service flaw was found in OpenSSL 0.9.8, 1.0.1, 1.0.2 through 1.0.2h, and 1.1.0 in the way the TLS/SSL protocol defined processing of ALERT packets during a connection handshake. A remote attacker could use this flaw to make a TLS/SSL server consume an excessive amount of CPU and fail to accept connections from other clients.
CVE-2017-9788 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more 18 Http Server, Mac Os X, Debian Linux and 15 more 2025-04-20 N/A
In Apache httpd before 2.2.34 and 2.4.x before 2.4.27, the value placeholder in [Proxy-]Authorization headers of type 'Digest' was not initialized or reset before or between successive key=value assignments by mod_auth_digest. Providing an initial key with no '=' assignment could reflect the stale value of uninitialized pool memory used by the prior request, leading to leakage of potentially confidential information, and a segfault in other cases resulting in denial of service.
CVE-2016-3690 1 Redhat 1 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform 2025-04-20 N/A
The PooledInvokerServlet in JBoss EAP 4.x and 5.x allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted serialized payload.
CVE-2017-5645 4 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 86 Log4j, Oncommand Api Services, Oncommand Insight and 83 more 2025-04-20 9.8 Critical
In Apache Log4j 2.x before 2.8.2, when using the TCP socket server or UDP socket server to receive serialized log events from another application, a specially crafted binary payload can be sent that, when deserialized, can execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2017-12624 2 Apache, Redhat 3 Cxf, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Single Sign On 2025-04-20 N/A
Apache CXF supports sending and receiving attachments via either the JAX-WS or JAX-RS specifications. It is possible to craft a message attachment header that could lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack on a CXF web service provider. Both JAX-WS and JAX-RS services are vulnerable to this attack. From Apache CXF 3.2.1 and 3.1.14, message attachment headers that are greater than 300 characters will be rejected by default. This value is configurable via the property "attachment-max-header-size".
CVE-2017-7504 1 Redhat 1 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform 2025-04-20 N/A
HTTPServerILServlet.java in JMS over HTTP Invocation Layer of the JbossMQ implementation, which is enabled by default in Red Hat Jboss Application Server <= Jboss 4.X does not restrict the classes for which it performs deserialization, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted serialized data.
CVE-2017-5664 2 Apache, Redhat 4 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 1 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The error page mechanism of the Java Servlet Specification requires that, when an error occurs and an error page is configured for the error that occurred, the original request and response are forwarded to the error page. This means that the request is presented to the error page with the original HTTP method. If the error page is a static file, expected behaviour is to serve content of the file as if processing a GET request, regardless of the actual HTTP method. The Default Servlet in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M20, 8.5.0 to 8.5.14, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.43 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.77 did not do this. Depending on the original request this could lead to unexpected and undesirable results for static error pages including, if the DefaultServlet is configured to permit writes, the replacement or removal of the custom error page. Notes for other user provided error pages: (1) Unless explicitly coded otherwise, JSPs ignore the HTTP method. JSPs used as error pages must must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. (2) By default, the response generated by a Servlet does depend on the HTTP method. Custom Servlets used as error pages must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method.
