CVSS v3.1 |
| An attacker can bypass the sandboxing of Nasal scripts and arbitrarily write to any file path that the user has permission to modify at the operating-system level. |
| pdns specific as packaged in Debian in version before 3.3.1-1 creates a too privileged MySQL user. It was discovered that the maintainer scripts of pdns-backend-mysql grant too wide database permissions for the pdns user. Other backends
are not affected. |
| Buffer overflow vulnerability in matplotlib. This issue affects matplotlib: before upstream commit ba4016014cb4fb4927e36ce8ea429fed47dcb787. |
| It was discovered that uscan, a tool to scan/watch upstream sources for new releases of software, included in devscripts (a collection of scripts to make the life of a Debian Package maintainer easier), skips OpenPGP verification if the upstream source is already downloaded from a previous run even if the verification failed back then. |
| pycode-browser before version 1.0 is prone to a predictable temporary file vulnerability. |
| yubiserver before 0.6 is prone to buffer overflows due to misuse of sprintf. |
| yubiserver before 0.6 is prone to SQL injection issues, potentially leading to an authentication bypass. |
| Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability in mod_macro of Apache HTTP Server. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.57. |
| nscd: netgroup cache may terminate daemon on memory allocation failure
The Name Service Cache Daemon's (nscd) netgroup cache uses xmalloc or
xrealloc and these functions may terminate the process due to a memory
allocation failure resulting in a denial of service to the clients. The
flaw was introduced in glibc 2.15 when the cache was added to nscd.
This vulnerability is only present in the nscd binary. |
| When curl is told to use the Certificate Status Request TLS extension, often referred to as OCSP stapling, to verify that the server certificate is valid, it might fail to detect some OCSP problems and instead wrongly consider the response as fine. If the returned status reports another error than 'revoked' (like for example 'unauthorized') it is not treated as a bad certficate. |
| There exists a heap buffer overflow vulnerable in Abseil-cpp. The sized constructors, reserve(), and rehash() methods of absl::{flat,node}hash{set,map} did not impose an upper bound on their size argument. As a result, it was possible for a caller to pass a very large size that would cause an integer overflow when computing the size of the container's backing store, and a subsequent out-of-bounds memory write. Subsequent accesses to the container might also access out-of-bounds memory. We recommend upgrading past commit 5a0e2cb5e3958dd90bb8569a2766622cb74d90c1 |
| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.10.11. PI futexes have a kernel stack use-after-free during fault handling, allowing local users to execute code in the kernel, aka CID-34b1a1ce1458. |
| There exists interger overflows in libvpx in versions prior to 1.14.1. Calling vpx_img_alloc() with a large value of the d_w, d_h, or align parameter may result in integer overflows in the calculations of buffer sizes and offsets and some fields of the returned vpx_image_t struct may be invalid. Calling vpx_img_wrap() with a large value of the d_w, d_h, or stride_align parameter may result in integer overflows in the calculations of buffer sizes and offsets and some fields of the returned vpx_image_t struct may be invalid. We recommend upgrading to version 1.14.1 or beyond |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: don't abort filesystem when attempting to snapshot deleted subvolume
If the source file descriptor to the snapshot ioctl refers to a deleted
subvolume, we get the following abort:
BTRFS: Transaction aborted (error -2)

BTRFS: error (device vdc: state A) in create_pending_snapshot:1875: errno=-2 No such entry
BTRFS info (device vdc: state EA): forced readonly
BTRFS warning (device vdc: state EA): Skipping commit of aborted transaction.
BTRFS: error (device vdc: state EA) in cleanup_transaction:2055: errno=-2 No such entry
This happens because create_pending_snapshot() initializes the new root
item as a copy of the source root item. This includes the refs field,
which is 0 for a deleted subvolume. The call to btrfs_insert_root()
therefore inserts a root with refs == 0. btrfs_get_new_fs_root() then
finds the root and returns -ENOENT if refs == 0, which causes
create_pending_snapshot() to abort.
Fix it by checking the source root's refs before attempting the
snapshot, but after locking subvol_sem to avoid racing with deletion. |
| Insufficient validation of filenames against control characters in Apache Subversion repositories served via mod_dav_svn allows authenticated users with commit access to commit a corrupted revision, leading to disruption for users of the repository.
All versions of Subversion up to and including Subversion 1.14.4 are affected if serving repositories via mod_dav_svn. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.14.5, which fixes this issue.
Repositories served via other access methods are not affected. |
| dimC_Read in isomedia/box_code_3gpp.c in GPAC from 0.5.2 to 0.8.0 has a stack-based buffer overflow. |
| ImageMagick 7.0.1-0 to 7.0.8-54 Q16 allows Division by Zero in RemoveDuplicateLayers in MagickCore/layer.c. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Apache Tomcat Connectors allows local users to view and modify shared memory containing mod_jk configuration which may lead to information disclosure and/or denial of service.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat Connectors: from 1.2.9-beta through 1.2.49. Only mod_jk on Unix like systems is affected. Neither the ISAPI redirector nor mod_jk on Windows is affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.2.50, which fixes the issue. |
