CVE-2026-23199 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-18 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: procfs: avoid fetching build ID while holding VMA lock Fix PROCMAP_QUERY to fetch optional build ID only after dropping mmap_lock or per-VMA lock, whichever was used to lock VMA under question, to avoid deadlock reported by syzbot: -> #1 (&mm->mmap_lock){++++}-{4:4}: __might_fault+0xed/0x170 _copy_to_iter+0x118/0x1720 copy_page_to_iter+0x12d/0x1e0 filemap_read+0x720/0x10a0 blkdev_read_iter+0x2b5/0x4e0 vfs_read+0x7f4/0xae0 ksys_read+0x12a/0x250 do_syscall_64+0xcb/0xf80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f -> #0 (&sb->s_type->i_mutex_key#8){++++}-{4:4}: __lock_acquire+0x1509/0x26d0 lock_acquire+0x185/0x340 down_read+0x98/0x490 blkdev_read_iter+0x2a7/0x4e0 __kernel_read+0x39a/0xa90 freader_fetch+0x1d5/0xa80 __build_id_parse.isra.0+0xea/0x6a0 do_procmap_query+0xd75/0x1050 procfs_procmap_ioctl+0x7a/0xb0 __x64_sys_ioctl+0x18e/0x210 do_syscall_64+0xcb/0xf80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f other info that might help us debug this: Possible unsafe locking scenario: CPU0 CPU1 ---- ---- rlock(&mm->mmap_lock); lock(&sb->s_type->i_mutex_key#8); lock(&mm->mmap_lock); rlock(&sb->s_type->i_mutex_key#8); *** DEADLOCK *** This seems to be exacerbated (as we haven't seen these syzbot reports before that) by the recent: 777a8560fd29 ("lib/buildid: use __kernel_read() for sleepable context") To make this safe, we need to grab file refcount while VMA is still locked, but other than that everything is pretty straightforward. Internal build_id_parse() API assumes VMA is passed, but it only needs the underlying file reference, so just add another variant build_id_parse_file() that expects file passed directly. CVE-2026-23203 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cpsw_new: Execute ndo_set_rx_mode callback in a work queue Commit 1767bb2d47b7 ("ipv6: mcast: Don't hold RTNL for IPV6_ADD_MEMBERSHIP and MCAST_JOIN_GROUP.") removed the RTNL lock for IPV6_ADD_MEMBERSHIP and MCAST_JOIN_GROUP operations. However, this change triggered the following call trace on my BeagleBone Black board: WARNING: net/8021q/vlan_core.c:236 at vlan_for_each+0x120/0x124, CPU#0: rpcbind/496 RTNL: assertion failed at net/8021q/vlan_core.c (236) Modules linked in: CPU: 0 UID: 997 PID: 496 Comm: rpcbind Not tainted 6.19.0-rc6-next-20260122-yocto-standard+ #8 PREEMPT Hardware name: Generic AM33XX (Flattened Device Tree) Call trace: unwind_backtrace from show_stack+0x28/0x2c show_stack from dump_stack_lvl+0x30/0x38 dump_stack_lvl from __warn+0xb8/0x11c __warn from warn_slowpath_fmt+0x130/0x194 warn_slowpath_fmt from vlan_for_each+0x120/0x124 vlan_for_each from cpsw_add_mc_addr+0x54/0xd8 cpsw_add_mc_addr from __hw_addr_ref_sync_dev+0xc4/0xec __hw_addr_ref_sync_dev from __dev_mc_add+0x78/0x88 __dev_mc_add from igmp6_group_added+0x84/0xec igmp6_group_added from __ipv6_dev_mc_inc+0x1fc/0x2f0 __ipv6_dev_mc_inc from __ipv6_sock_mc_join+0x124/0x1b4 __ipv6_sock_mc_join from do_ipv6_setsockopt+0x84c/0x1168 do_ipv6_setsockopt from ipv6_setsockopt+0x88/0xc8 ipv6_setsockopt from do_sock_setsockopt+0xe8/0x19c do_sock_setsockopt from __sys_setsockopt+0x84/0xac __sys_setsockopt from ret_fast_syscall+0x0/0x5 This trace occurs because vlan_for_each() is called within cpsw_ndo_set_rx_mode(), which expects the RTNL lock to be held. Since modifying vlan_for_each() to operate without the RTNL lock is not straightforward, and because ndo_set_rx_mode() is invoked both with and without the RTNL lock across different code paths, simply adding rtnl_lock() in cpsw_ndo_set_rx_mode() is not a viable solution. To resolve this issue, we opt to execute the actual processing within a work queue, following the approach used by the icssg-prueth driver.
CVE-2026-23206 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-18 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dpaa2-switch: prevent ZERO_SIZE_PTR dereference when num_ifs is zero The driver allocates arrays for ports, FDBs, and filter blocks using kcalloc() with ethsw->sw_attr.num_ifs as the element count. When the device reports zero interfaces (either due to hardware configuration or firmware issues), kcalloc(0, ...) returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR (0x10) instead of NULL. Later in dpaa2_switch_probe(), the NAPI initialization unconditionally accesses ethsw->ports[0]->netdev, which attempts to dereference ZERO_SIZE_PTR (address 0x10), resulting in a kernel panic. Add a check to ensure num_ifs is greater than zero after retrieving device attributes. This prevents the zero-sized allocations and subsequent invalid pointer dereference.
CVE-2026-23207 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-18 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: tegra210-quad: Protect curr_xfer check in IRQ handler Now that all other accesses to curr_xfer are done under the lock, protect the curr_xfer NULL check in tegra_qspi_isr_thread() with the spinlock. Without this protection, the following race can occur: CPU0 (ISR thread) CPU1 (timeout path) ---------------- ------------------- if (!tqspi->curr_xfer) // sees non-NULL spin_lock() tqspi->curr_xfer = NULL spin_unlock() handle_*_xfer() spin_lock() t = tqspi->curr_xfer // NULL! ... t->len ... // NULL dereference! With this patch, all curr_xfer accesses are now properly synchronized. Although all accesses to curr_xfer are done under the lock, in tegra_qspi_isr_thread() it checks for NULL, releases the lock and reacquires it later in handle_cpu_based_xfer()/handle_dma_based_xfer(). There is a potential for an update in between, which could cause a NULL pointer dereference. To handle this, add a NULL check inside the handlers after acquiring the lock. This ensures that if the timeout path has already cleared curr_xfer, the handler will safely return without dereferencing the NULL pointer.
CVE-2026-23208 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-18 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Prevent excessive number of frames In this case, the user constructed the parameters with maxpacksize 40 for rate 22050 / pps 1000, and packsize[0] 22 packsize[1] 23. The buffer size for each data URB is maxpacksize * packets, which in this example is 40 * 6 = 240; When the user performs a write operation to send audio data into the ALSA PCM playback stream, the calculated number of frames is packsize[0] * packets = 264, which exceeds the allocated URB buffer size, triggering the out-of-bounds (OOB) issue reported by syzbot [1]. Added a check for the number of single data URB frames when calculating the number of frames to prevent [1]. CVE-2026-23210 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-18 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Fix PTP NULL pointer dereference during VSI rebuild Fix race condition where PTP periodic work runs while VSI is being rebuilt, accessing NULL vsi->rx_rings. The sequence was: 1. ice_ptp_prepare_for_reset() cancels PTP work 2. ice_ptp_rebuild() immediately queues PTP work 3. VSI rebuild happens AFTER ice_ptp_rebuild() 4. PTP work runs and accesses NULL vsi->rx_rings Fix: Keep PTP work cancelled during rebuild, only queue it after VSI rebuild completes in ice_rebuild(). Added ice_ptp_queue_work() helper function to encapsulate the logic for queuing PTP work, ensuring it's only queued when PTP is supported and the state is ICE_PTP_READY. CVE-2026-2592 2 Wordpress, Zarinpal 2 Wordpress, Zarinpal Gateway 2026-02-18 7.7 High
The Zarinpal Gateway for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Access Control to Payment Status Update in all versions up to and including 5.0.16. This is due to the payment callback handler 'Return_from_ZarinPal_Gateway' failing to validate that the authority token provided in the callback URL belongs to the specific order being marked as paid. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to potentially mark orders as paid without proper payment by reusing a valid authority token from a different transaction of the same amount.
