CVSS v3.1 |
| Ech0 before 4.7.3 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the fetchPeerConnectInfo function that uses unvalidated HTTP requests instead of safe request methods with URL validation. Authenticated attackers can supply arbitrary URLs to access internal services and cloud metadata endpoints by triggering connection health checks or peer connection operations. |
| Versions of the package jsonpath before 1.3.0 are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via unsafe evaluation of user-supplied JSON Path expressions. The library relies on the static-eval module to process JSON Path input, which is not designed to handle untrusted data safely. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a malicious JSON Path expression that, when evaluated, executes arbitrary JavaScript code, leading to Remote Code Execution in Node.js environments or Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in browser contexts. This affects all methods that evaluate JSON Paths against objects, including .query, .nodes, .paths, .value, .parent, and .apply. |
| Axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. Prior to 1.15.0 and 0.31.0, Axios does not correctly handle hostname normalization when checking NO_PROXY rules. Requests to loopback addresses like localhost. (with a trailing dot) or [::1] (IPv6 literal) skip NO_PROXY matching and go through the configured proxy. This goes against what developers expect and lets attackers force requests through a proxy, even if NO_PROXY is set up to protect loopback or internal services. This issue leads to the possibility of proxy bypass and SSRF vulnerabilities allowing attackers to reach sensitive loopback or internal services despite the configured protections. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.15.0 and 0.31.0. |
| The Mane theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.7. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: smc: fix splice entry lifetime imbalance in smc_rx_splice
smc_rx_splice() passes pages to splice_to_pipe() before taking the
references that cover the lifetime of each splice entry. In the
VM-backed RMB path, splice_to_pipe() may drop unqueued entries through
smc_rx_spd_release(), while queued entries are released later via the
pipe buffer callback.
The old post-splice accounting also derives the number of queued VM pages
from an offset mutated while building the descriptor, and a multi-page
splice pairs one sock_hold() with multiple sock_put() calls.
Take the page and socket references for every candidate entry before
splice_to_pipe(), and drop the matching private state, page reference,
and socket reference from smc_rx_spd_release() for entries that never
get queued. This fixes a refcount imbalance that can underflow page
refcounts and trigger a use-after-free. |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A local unprivileged attacker on a Linux client host can hijack client-side X11 forwarding connections. This is possible by pre-binding the preferred abstract X socket name when X11 forwarding is enabled and a local UNIX-domain X socket is used. A successful attack can compromise the confidentiality of forwarded X11 traffic, including sensitive window contents and input, and may allow some manipulation of the forwarded session. |
| A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was found in AWX's webhook status callback mechanism. When processing GitHub pull request webhooks, AWX extracts the status callback URL (pull_request.statuses_url) from the incoming webhook payload without validating the target host against the expected Git provider. This URL is persisted in job extra variables and later used to send authenticated status updates. A user with admin role on a webhook-enabled job template can read the template's webhook signing key, forge a signed GitHub webhook payload with an arbitrary statuses_url, and cause AWX to POST status updates to an attacker-controlled or internal URL. The status update request includes the configured Git Personal Access Token (PAT) in the Authorization header, resulting in credential leakage to the attacker-specified endpoint. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFS: Pin the 'struct nfs_server' during a FREE_STATEID call
Dan Aloni reports that he was able to hit a use-after-free bug if a
FREE_STATEID operation gets delayed for whatever reason. Fix this by
bumping the refcount of the 'struct nfs_server' object for the duration
of the FREE_STATEID so it doesn't get cleaned up from underneath us
while operations are still in flight. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: tcp: Fix use-after-free in bpf_iter_tcp_established_batch()
reqsk_queue_hash_req() publishes a TCP_NEW_SYN_RECV request_sock onto
the ehash chain, drops the bucket lock, and only afterwards sets
rsk_refcnt to 3.
Lockless readers such as __inet_lookup_established() handle this with
refcount_inc_not_zero(), but bpf_iter_tcp_established_batch() uses plain
sock_hold() while holding the bucket lock, on the assumption that the
lock guarantees sk_refcnt > 0. That assumption does not hold for
request_sock:
CPU 0 CPU 1
----- -----
tcp_conn_request()
reqsk_queue_hash_req()
inet_ehash_insert(req)
spin_lock(bucket)
__sk_nulls_add_node_rcu(req) // rsk_refcnt == 0
spin_unlock(bucket)
bpf_iter_tcp_established_batch()
spin_lock(bucket)
sock_hold(req) <-- addition on 0
spin_unlock(bucket)
refcount_set(&req->rsk_refcnt, 3) // clobbers saturated value
which surfaces as:
refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free.

The iterator's stolen reference is lost when the publishing CPU's
refcount_set() overwrites the count, leaving the socket one reference
short. When the last legitimate owner drops its reference the reqsk is
freed while still reachable, leading to use-after-free.
This reproduces in seconds with tcp_syncookies=0, a handful of threads
doing connect()/close() to a local listener while others read an
iter/tcp link in a tight loop.
Use refcount_inc_not_zero() and skip the socket on failure. A skipped
socket is still part of the bucket, so keep counting it in expected.
The reallocations are sized from expected, and a request sock whose
refcount gets published while the lock is held across the last realloc
must already have room.
A skipped socket is counted in expected but never batched, so end_sk
can be short of expected on a batch that is actually complete. Decide
completeness by whether the walk left any socket behind instead. The
WARN after the locked realloc checks the same, replacing an
end_sk == expected check that could not hold on that path since
commit cdec67a489d4 ("bpf: tcp: Make sure iter->batch always
contains a full bucket snapshot").
If every matching socket in a bucket is mid-init (refcount 0), end_sk
stays 0. Advance to the next bucket rather than returning a batch entry
that was never filled this round. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_flow_table: drop existing skb dst before skb_dst_set_noref()
Incoming skbs passing through netfilter flowtable offload hooks (or XFRM
offload path) might already carry a ref-counted dst_entry assigned during
earlier RX or routing steps.
Calling skb_dst_set_noref() when skb already holds a ref-counted dst
overwrites skb->_skb_refdst, leaking the previous dst_entry reference
count and triggering a DEBUG_NET_WARN_ON_ONCE assertion in
skb_dst_check_unset():

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/bnxt_re: zero shared page before exposing to userspace
bnxt_re_alloc_ucontext() allocates uctx->shpg via
__get_free_page(GFP_KERNEL). The buddy allocator does not zero pages
without __GFP_ZERO, so the page contains stale kernel data from
whatever object most recently freed it.
The page is then mapped into userspace via vm_insert_page() under
BNXT_RE_MMAP_SH_PAGE in bnxt_re_mmap(). The driver only ever writes
4 bytes (a u32 AVID) at offset BNXT_RE_AVID_OFFT (0x10) inside
bnxt_re_create_ah(); the remaining 4092 bytes of the page are exposed
to userspace unsanitised, leaking kernel memory contents.
Any user with access to /dev/infiniband/uverbsX on a host with a
bnxt_re device (typically rdma group membership) can read this data
via a single mmap() at pgoff 0 after IB_USER_VERBS_CMD_GET_CONTEXT.
Other shared pages in the same file already use get_zeroed_page()
correctly:
drivers/infiniband/hw/bnxt_re/ib_verbs.c
srq->uctx_srq_page = (void *)get_zeroed_page(GFP_KERNEL);
cq->uctx_cq_page = (void *)get_zeroed_page(GFP_KERNEL);
uctx->shpg is the only outlier. Bring it in line with the existing
convention by switching to get_zeroed_page(). |
| Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, a ${...} expression or backtick in an array item default is emitted into a module-level template literal emitted by zod schema generation without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when the generated zod schema module is imported, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/zod/src/index.ts function formatDefaultValue. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0. |

This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when the generated zod schema module is imported, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/zod/src/index.ts and header request-validation generation. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0. |
| Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content. Prior to 1.0.0-rc.16, the Grav API plugin CorsMiddleware returns Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * and permissive OPTIONS responses for authenticated /api/v1 endpoints. JavaScript from any origin can submit an attacker-obtained JWT through the Authorization or X-API-Token header, read the authenticated response, and perform write operations with the token owner's privileges, enabling data exfiltration and account modification. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-rc.16. |

| Hugo's security.http.urls allowlist is the only control on outbound fetches made by resources.GetRemote, and it inspects the URL text alone. CheckAllowedHTTPURL in config/security/securityConfig.go applies the configured pattern list and then re-checks a canonicalised form of an integer, hex or octal IPv4 host, but it never resolves the hostname and never inspects the address the HTTP client actually connects to. The client constructed in resources/resource_factories/create/create.go installs no dial-time hook, so no check occurs at connection time either. A hostname that resolves to a loopback, private or cloud-metadata address therefore satisfies the policy, and the response body is embedded in the generated site. An attacker who can supply a URL through content, for example a front-matter field or a CMS field, can make the build fetch an internal endpoint and publish the response in the static output, so the build artifact itself carries the data out. |
