CVE-2023-53097 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/iommu: fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it, otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at once.
CVE-2023-53091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: update s_journal_inum if it changes after journal replay When mounting a crafted ext4 image, s_journal_inum may change after journal replay, which is obviously unreasonable because we have successfully loaded and replayed the journal through the old s_journal_inum. And the new s_journal_inum bypasses some of the checks in ext4_get_journal(), which may trigger a null pointer dereference problem. So if s_journal_inum changes after the journal replay, we ignore the change, and rewrite the current journal_inum to the superblock.

When evict inode <15>, the reference counting of the corresponding EA inode is decreased. When EA inode <15> is found by find_inode_fast() in __ext4_iget(), it is found that the EA inode holds the I_FREEING flag and waits for the EA inode to complete deletion. As a result, when inode <15> is being deleted, we wait for inode <15> to complete the deletion, resulting in an infinite loop and triggering Hung Task. To solve this problem, we only need to check whether the ino of EA inode and parent is the same before getting EA inode.

CVE-2023-53035 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix kernel-infoleak in nilfs_ioctl_wrap_copy() The ioctl helper function nilfs_ioctl_wrap_copy(), which exchanges a metadata array to/from user space, may copy uninitialized buffer regions to user space memory for read-only ioctl commands NILFS_IOCTL_GET_SUINFO and NILFS_IOCTL_GET_CPINFO. This can occur when the element size of the user space metadata given by the v_size member of the argument nilfs_argv structure is larger than the size of the metadata element (nilfs_suinfo structure or nilfs_cpinfo structure) on the file system side. KMSAN-enabled kernels detect this issue as follows: BUG: KMSAN: kernel-infoleak in instrument_copy_to_user include/linux/instrumented.h:121 [inline] BUG: KMSAN: kernel-infoleak in _copy_to_user+0xc0/0x100 lib/usercopy.c:33 instrument_copy_to_user include/linux/instrumented.h:121 [inline] _copy_to_user+0xc0/0x100 lib/usercopy.c:33 copy_to_user include/linux/uaccess.h:169 [inline] nilfs_ioctl_wrap_copy+0x6fa/0xc10 fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:99 nilfs_ioctl_get_info fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:1173 [inline] nilfs_ioctl+0x2402/0x4450 fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:1290 nilfs_compat_ioctl+0x1b8/0x200 fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:1343 __do_compat_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:968 [inline] __se_compat_sys_ioctl+0x7dd/0x1000 fs/ioctl.c:910 __ia32_compat_sys_ioctl+0x93/0xd0 fs/ioctl.c:910 do_syscall_32_irqs_on arch/x86/entry/common.c:112 [inline] __do_fast_syscall_32+0xa2/0x100 arch/x86/entry/common.c:178 do_fast_syscall_32+0x37/0x80 arch/x86/entry/common.c:203 do_SYSENTER_32+0x1f/0x30 arch/x86/entry/common.c:246 entry_SYSENTER_compat_after_hwframe+0x70/0x82 Uninit was created at: __alloc_pages+0x9f6/0xe90 mm/page_alloc.c:5572 alloc_pages+0xab0/0xd80 mm/mempolicy.c:2287 __get_free_pages+0x34/0xc0 mm/page_alloc.c:5599 nilfs_ioctl_wrap_copy+0x223/0xc10 fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:74 nilfs_ioctl_get_info fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:1173 [inline] nilfs_ioctl+0x2402/0x4450 fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:1290 nilfs_compat_ioctl+0x1b8/0x200 fs/nilfs2/ioctl.c:1343 __do_compat_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:968 [inline] __se_compat_sys_ioctl+0x7dd/0x1000 fs/ioctl.c:910 __ia32_compat_sys_ioctl+0x93/0xd0 fs/ioctl.c:910 do_syscall_32_irqs_on arch/x86/entry/common.c:112 [inline] __do_fast_syscall_32+0xa2/0x100 arch/x86/entry/common.c:178 do_fast_syscall_32+0x37/0x80 arch/x86/entry/common.c:203 do_SYSENTER_32+0x1f/0x30 arch/x86/entry/common.c:246 entry_SYSENTER_compat_after_hwframe+0x70/0x82 Bytes 16-127 of 3968 are uninitialized ... CVE-2025-15389 1 Qno Technology 1 Vpn Firewall 2026-01-05 8.8 High
VPN Firewall developed by QNO Technology has an OS Command Injection vulnerability, allowing authenticated remote attackers to inject arbitrary OS commands and execute them on the server.
CVE-2023-52974 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Rhel Eus 2026-01-05 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: iscsi_tcp: Fix UAF during login when accessing the shost ipaddress If during iscsi_sw_tcp_session_create() iscsi_tcp_r2tpool_alloc() fails, userspace could be accessing the host's ipaddress attr. If we then free the session via iscsi_session_teardown() while userspace is still accessing the session we will hit a use after free bug. Set the tcp_sw_host->session after we have completed session creation and can no longer fail.
