CVE-2024-21626 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 10 Fedora, Runc, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2025-05-15 | 8.6 High |
runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers on Linux according to the OCI specification. In runc 1.1.11 and earlier, due to an internal file descriptor leak, an attacker could cause a newly-spawned container process (from runc exec) to have a working directory in the host filesystem namespace, allowing for a container escape by giving access to the host filesystem ("attack 2"). The same attack could be used by a malicious image to allow a container process to gain access to the host filesystem through runc run ("attack 1"). Variants of attacks 1 and 2 could be also be used to overwrite semi-arbitrary host binaries, allowing for complete container escapes ("attack 3a" and "attack 3b"). runc 1.1.12 includes patches for this issue.
CVE-2022-41316 | 2 Hashicorp, Redhat | 3 Vault, Openshift, Openshift Data Foundation | 2025-05-15 | 5.3 Medium |
HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise’s TLS certificate auth method did not initially load the optionally configured CRL issued by the role's CA into memory on startup, resulting in the revocation list not being checked if the CRL has not yet been retrieved. Fixed in 1.12.0, 1.11.4, 1.10.7, and 1.9.10.
CVE-2024-52616 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-05-14 | 5.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Avahi-daemon, where it initializes DNS transaction IDs randomly only once at startup, incrementing them sequentially after that. This predictable behavior facilitates DNS spoofing attacks, allowing attackers to guess transaction IDs.
CVE-2017-7517 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-05-13 | 3.5 Low |
An input validation vulnerability exists in Openshift Enterprise due to a 1:1 mapping of tenants in Hawkular Metrics and projects/namespaces in OpenShift. If a user creates a project called "MyProject", and then later deletes it another user can then create a project called "MyProject" and access the metrics stored from the original "MyProject" instance.
CVE-2024-1485 | 2 Devfile, Redhat | 4 Registry-support, Ocp Tools, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-05-12 | 8 High |
A flaw was found in the decompression function of registry-support. This issue can be triggered if an unauthenticated remote attacker tricks a user into parsing a devfile which uses the `parent` or `plugin` keywords. This could download a malicious archive and cause the cleanup process to overwrite or delete files outside of the archive, which should not be allowed.
CVE-2013-4253 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-05-09 | 7.5 High |
The deployment script in the unsupported "OpenShift Extras" set of add-on scripts, in Red Hat Openshift 1, installs a default public key in the root user's authorized_keys file.
CVE-2013-4281 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-05-09 | 5.5 Medium |
In Red Hat Openshift 1, weak default permissions are applied to the /etc/openshift/server_priv.pem file on the broker server, which could allow users with local access to the broker to read this file.
CVE-2022-43409 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 3 Pipeline\, Ocp Tools, Openshift | 2025-05-08 | 5.4 Medium |
Jenkins Pipeline: Supporting APIs Plugin 838.va_3a_087b_4055b and earlier does not sanitize or properly encode URLs of hyperlinks sending POST requests in build logs, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers able to create Pipelines.
CVE-2022-43408 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 3 Pipeline\, Ocp Tools, Openshift | 2025-05-08 | 6.5 Medium |
Jenkins Pipeline: Stage View Plugin 2.26 and earlier does not correctly encode the ID of 'input' steps when using it to generate URLs to proceed or abort Pipeline builds, allowing attackers able to configure Pipelines to specify 'input' step IDs resulting in URLs that would bypass the CSRF protection of any target URL in Jenkins.
CVE-2022-43407 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 3 Pipeline\, Ocp Tools, Openshift | 2025-05-08 | 8.8 High |
Jenkins Pipeline: Input Step Plugin 451.vf1a_a_4f405289 and earlier does not restrict or sanitize the optionally specified ID of the 'input' step, which is used for the URLs that process user interactions for the given 'input' step (proceed or abort) and is not correctly encoded, allowing attackers able to configure Pipelines to have Jenkins build URLs from 'input' step IDs that would bypass the CSRF protection of any target URL in Jenkins when the 'input' step is interacted with.
CVE-2022-31690 | 3 Netapp, Redhat, Vmware | 5 Active Iq Unified Manager, Migration Toolkit Applications, Migration Toolkit Runtimes and 2 more | 2025-05-08 | 8.1 High |
Spring Security, versions 5.7 prior to 5.7.5, and 5.6 prior to 5.6.9, and older unsupported versions could be susceptible to a privilege escalation under certain conditions. A malicious user or attacker can modify a request initiated by the Client (via the browser) to the Authorization Server which can lead to a privilege escalation on the subsequent approval. This scenario can happen if the Authorization Server responds with an OAuth2 Access Token Response containing an empty scope list (per RFC 6749, Section 5.1) on the subsequent request to the token endpoint to obtain the access token.
CVE-2024-11217 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-05-08 | 4.9 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in the OAuth-server. OAuth-server logs the OAuth2 client secret when the logLevel is Debug higher for OIDC/GitHub/GitLab/Google IDPs login options.
CVE-2022-31692 | 3 Netapp, Redhat, Vmware | 4 Active Iq Unified Manager, Jboss Fuse, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-05-06 | 9.8 Critical |
Spring Security, versions 5.7 prior to 5.7.5 and 5.6 prior to 5.6.9 could be susceptible to authorization rules bypass via forward or include dispatcher types. Specifically, an application is vulnerable when all of the following are true: The application expects that Spring Security applies security to forward and include dispatcher types. The application uses the AuthorizationFilter either manually or via the authorizeHttpRequests() method. The application configures the FilterChainProxy to apply to forward and/or include requests (e.g. spring.security.filter.dispatcher-types = request, error, async, forward, include). The application may forward or include the request to a higher privilege-secured endpoint. The application configures Spring Security to apply to every dispatcher type via authorizeHttpRequests().shouldFilterAllDispatcherTypes(true)
CVE-2021-36980 | 2 Openvswitch, Redhat | 3 Openvswitch, Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-05-05 | 5.5 Medium |
Open vSwitch (aka openvswitch) 2.11.0 through 2.15.0 has a use-after-free in decode_NXAST_RAW_ENCAP (called from ofpact_decode and ofpacts_decode) during the decoding of a RAW_ENCAP action.
CVE-2022-41723 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 22 Go, Hpack, Http2 and 19 more | 2025-05-05 | 7.5 High |
A maliciously crafted HTTP/2 stream could cause excessive CPU consumption in the HPACK decoder, sufficient to cause a denial of service from a small number of small requests.
CVE-2024-26602 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 9 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 6 more | 2025-05-04 | 5.5 Medium |
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/membarrier: reduce the ability to hammer on sys_membarrier On some systems, sys_membarrier can be very expensive, causing overall slowdowns for everything. So put a lock on the path in order to serialize the accesses to prevent the ability for this to be called at too high of a frequency and saturate the machine.
CVE-2025-22869 | 2 Go, Redhat | 17 Ssh, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 14 more | 2025-05-01 | 7.5 High |
SSH servers which implement file transfer protocols are vulnerable to a denial of service attack from clients which complete the key exchange slowly, or not at all, causing pending content to be read into memory, but never transmitted.
CVE-2025-22868 | 2 Go, Redhat | 19 Jws, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 16 more | 2025-05-01 | 7.5 High |
An attacker can pass a malicious malformed token which causes unexpected memory to be consumed during parsing.
CVE-2023-26136 | 2 Redhat, Salesforce | 8 Acm, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Logging and 5 more | 2025-05-01 | 6.5 Medium |
Versions of the package tough-cookie before 4.1.3 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution due to improper handling of Cookies when using CookieJar in rejectPublicSuffixes=false mode. This issue arises from the manner in which the objects are initialized.
