CVSS v3.1 |
| dhcpd in ISC DHCP 3.0.4 and 3.1.1, when the dhcp-client-identifier and hardware ethernet configuration settings are both used, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via unspecified requests. |
| The personality subsystem in the Linux kernel before 2.6.31-rc3 has a PER_CLEAR_ON_SETID setting that does not clear the ADDR_COMPAT_LAYOUT and MMAP_PAGE_ZERO flags when executing a setuid or setgid program, which makes it easier for local users to leverage the details of memory usage to (1) conduct NULL pointer dereference attacks, (2) bypass the mmap_min_addr protection mechanism, or (3) defeat address space layout randomization (ASLR). |
| ZyXEL Prestige routers, including P-660 and P-661 models with firmware 3.40(AGD.2) through 3.40(AHQ.3), have (1) "user" as their default password for the "user" account and (2) "1234" as their default password for the "admin" account, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain access. |
| The default configuration for autofs 5 (autofs5) in some Linux distributions, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4 and 5, does not specify the nodev mount option for the -hosts map, which allows local users to access "important devices" by operating a remote NFS server and creating special device files on that server, as demonstrated by the /dev/mem device. |
| Interpretation conflict in the Sun Java Virtual Machine (JVM) allows user-assisted remote attackers to conduct a multi-pin DNS rebinding attack and execute arbitrary JavaScript in an intranet context, when an intranet web server has an HTML document that references a "mayscript=true" Java applet through a local relative URI, which may be associated with different IP addresses by the browser and the JVM. |
| During an address list folding when a separating comma ends up on a folded line and that line is to be unicode-encoded then the separator itself is also unicode-encoded. Expected behavior is that the separating comma remains a plan comma. This can result in the address header being misinterpreted by some mail servers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
timekeeping: Adjust the leap state for the correct auxiliary timekeeper
When __do_ajdtimex() was introduced to handle adjtimex for any
timekeeper, this reference to tk_core was not updated. When called on an
auxiliary timekeeper, the core timekeeper would be updated incorrectly.
This gets caught by the lock debugging diagnostics because the
timekeepers sequence lock gets written to without holding its
associated spinlock:
WARNING: include/linux/seqlock.h:226 at __do_adjtimex+0x394/0x3b0, CPU#2: test/125

Update the correct auxiliary timekeeper. |
| Botan is a C++ cryptography library. Prior to version 3.11.1, the TLS 1.3 implementation allowed ApplicationData records to be processed prior to the Finished message being received. A server which is attempting to enforce client authentication via certificates can by bypassed by a client which entirely omits Certificate, CertificateVerify, and the Finished message and instead sends application data records. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.1. |
| When applications specify HTTP response headers for servlet applications using Spring Security, there is the possibility that the HTTP Headers will not be written.
This issue affects Spring Security Servlet applications using lazy (default) writing of HTTP Headers:
: from 5.7.0 through 5.7.21, from 5.8.0 through 5.8.23, from 6.3.0 through 6.3.14, from 6.4.0 through 6.4.14, from 6.5.0 through 6.5.8, from 7.0.0 through 7.0.3. |
| snmp_api.c in snmpd in Net-SNMP 5.2.x before 5.2.2, 5.1.x before 5.1.3, and 5.0.x before 5.0.10.2, when running in master agentx mode, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) by causing a particular TCP disconnect, which triggers a free of an incorrect variable, a different vulnerability than CVE-2005-2177. |
| Openwebmail in cPanel 5.0, when run using suid Perl, adds the directory in the SCRIPT_FILENAME environment variable to Perl's @INC include array, which allows local users to execute arbitrary code by modifying SCRIPT_FILENAME to reference a directory containing a malicious openwebmail-shared.pl executable. |
| Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in the installer for SYSLINUX 2.01, when running setuid root, allow local users to gain privileges via unknown vectors. |
| Aladdin Knowlege Systems eSafe Gateway 3.5.126.0 does not check the entire stream of Content Vectoring Protocol (CVP) data, which allows remote attackers to bypass virus protection. |
| Auerswald COMsuite CTI ControlCenter 3.1 creates a default "runasositron" user account with an easily guessable password, which allows local users or remote attackers to gain access. |
| Kerio Personal Firewall (KPF) 2.1.4 has a default rule to accept incoming packets from DNS (UDP port 53), which allows remote attackers to bypass the firewall filters via packets with a source port of 53. |
| syslogd on OpenBSD 2.9 through 3.2 does not change the source IP address of syslog packets when the machine's IP addressed is changed without rebooting, e.g. via ifconfig, which can cause incorrect information to be sent to the syslog server. |
| Gabber 0.8.7 sends an email to a specific address during user login and logout, which allows remote attackers to obtain user session activity and Gabber version number by sniffing. |
| Bastille B.02.00.00 of HP-UX 11.00 and 11.11 does not properly configure the (1) NOVRFY and (2) NOEXPN options in the sendmail.cf file, which could allow remote attackers to verify the existence of system users and expand defined sendmail aliases. |
| The administrator/phpinfo.php script in Mambo Site Server 4.0.11 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information such as the full web root path via phpinfo.php, which calls the phpinfo function. |
| DHCP clients with ICMP Router Discovery Protocol (IRDP) enabled allow remote attackers to modify their default routes. |
