| Foxit PDF Reader JP2 File Parsing Out-Of-Bounds Read Information Disclosure Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of JP2 files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-27101. |
An issue was discovered in Samsung Magician 6.3 through 8.3 on Windows. An attacker can achieve Elevation of Privileges to SYSTEM by exploiting insecure file delete operations during the update process.
RATOC RAID Monitoring Manager for Windows provided by RATOC Systems, Inc. registers a Windows service with an unquoted file path. A user with the write permission on the root directory of the system drive may execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privilege.
Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. An unsafe reading of environment file could potentially cause a denial of service in Netty. When loaded on an Windows application, Netty attempts to load a file that does not exist. If an attacker creates such a large file, the Netty application crashes. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.115.
Untrusted DLLs in the installer's directory may be loaded and executed, leading to potentially arbitrary code execution with the installer's privileges (admin).
Symphony process is a module for the Symphony PHP framework which executes commands in sub-processes. On Windows, when an executable file named `cmd.exe` is located in the current working directory it will be called by the `Process` class when preparing command arguments, leading to possible hijacking. This issue has been addressed in release versions 5.4.46, 6.4.14, and 7.1.7. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Credentials are not cleared from memory after being used. A user with Administrator permissions can execute memory dump for SmartConsole process and fetch them.
Sunway ForceControl version 6.1 SP3 and earlier contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the SNMP NetDBServer service, which listens on TCP port 2001. The flaw is triggered when the service receives a specially crafted packet using opcode 0x57 with an overly long payload. Due to improper bounds checking during packet parsing, attacker-controlled data overwrites the Structured Exception Handler (SEH), allowing arbitrary code execution in the context of the service. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely without authentication and may lead to full system compromise on affected Windows hosts.
Use after free in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 139.0.7258.154 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
Buffer overflow in Intel(R) Power Gadget software for Windows all versions may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) IPP software for Windows before version 2021.12.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Standard Edition 6.0.0.0 through 6.1.2.6 and 6.2.0.0 through 6.2.0.3 could disclose sensitive database information to a privileged user.
IBM Jazz Reporting Service 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 does not invalidate session after logout which could allow an authenticated privileged user to impersonate another user on the system.
IBM Sterling File Gateway 6.0.0.0 through 6.1.2.6 and 6.2.0.0 through 6.2.0.3 UI could disclosure the installation path of the server which could aid in further attacks against the system.
IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7 could allow a local user to execute privileged commands due to the improper handling of permissions.
IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7 could allow an authenticated user to obtain sensitive information that is stored locally under certain conditions.
| IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7
could allow an authenticated to obtain sensitive username information due to an observable response discrepancy. |
IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7 could disclose sensitive user credentials from log files during new installation of the product.
IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information when a detailed technical error message is returned in the browser. This information could be used in further attacks against the system.
IBM Sterling Connect:Direct Web Services 6.1.0, 6.2.0, and 6.3.0 could allow an authenticated user to spoof the identity of another user due to improper authorization which could allow the user to bypass access restrictions.
