CVSS v3.1 |
| lestrrat-go/jwx is a Go module implementing various JWx (JWA/JWE/JWK/JWS/JWT, otherwise known as JOSE) technologies. A p2c parameter set too high in JWE's algorithm PBES2-* could lead to a denial of service. The JWE key management algorithms based on PBKDF2 require a JOSE Header Parameter called p2c (PBES2 Count). This parameter dictates the number of PBKDF2 iterations needed to derive a CEK wrapping key. Its primary purpose is to intentionally slow down the key derivation function, making password brute-force and dictionary attacks more resource- intensive. Therefore, if an attacker sets the p2c parameter in JWE to a very large number, it can cause a lot of computational consumption, resulting in a denial of service. This vulnerability has been addressed in commit `64f2a229b` which has been included in release version 1.2.27 and 2.0.18. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in PyTorch 2.6.0. Affected is the function torch.nn.functional.ctc_loss of the file aten/src/ATen/native/LossCTC.cpp. The manipulation leads to denial of service. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The name of the patch is 46fc5d8e360127361211cb237d5f9eef0223e567. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The security policy of the project warns to use unknown models which might establish malicious effects. |
| A vulnerability was found in zj1983 zz up to 2024-8. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function deleteLocalFile of the file src/main/java/com/futvan/z/system/zfile/ZfileAction.java of the component File Handler. The manipulation of the argument zids leads to denial of service. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A lack of rate limiting in pjActionAjaxSend in Car Rental v3.0 allows attackers to cause resource exhaustion. |
| By spoofing the target resolver with responses that have a malformed EdDSA signature, an attacker can trigger a small memory leak. It is possible to gradually erode available memory to the point where named crashes for lack of resources. |

| A vulnerability exists in the ClearPass Policy Manager Guest User Interface that can allow an unauthenticated attacker to send specific operations which result in a Denial-of-Service condition. A successful exploitation of this vulnerability results in the unavailability of the guest interface in Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager version(s): 6.10.x: 6.10.6 and below; 6.9.x: 6.9.11 and below. Aruba has released upgrades for Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager that address this security vulnerability. |
| An attacker can leverage this flaw to gradually erode available memory to the point where named crashes for lack of resources. Upon restart the attacker would have to begin again, but nevertheless there is the potential to deny service. |

Dell OS10 Networking Switches running 10.5.2.x and above contain an Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (Denial of Service) vulnerability, when switches are configured with VLT and VRRP. A remote unauthenticated user can cause the network to be flooded leading to Denial of Service for actual network users. This is a high severity vulnerability as it allows an attacker to cause an outage of network. Dell recommends customers to upgrade at the earliest opportunity.

| Django-Select2 is a Django integration for Select2. Prior to version 8.4.1, instances of HeavySelect2Mixin subclasses like the ModelSelect2MultipleWidget and ModelSelect2Widget can leak secret access tokens across requests. This can allow users to access restricted query sets and restricted data. This issue has been patched in version 8.4.1. |
| Under certain circumstances, invalid authentication credentials could be sent to the login endpoint of Johnson Controls Metasys NAE55, SNE, and SNC engines prior to
versions 11.0.6 and 12.0.4
and Facility Explorer F4-SNC engines prior to versions 11.0.6 and 12.0.4 to cause denial-of-service.

| A vulnerability has been found in luelista miniConf up to 1.7.6 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file miniConf/MessageView.cs of the component URL Scanning. The manipulation leads to denial of service. Upgrading to version 1.7.7 and 1.8.0 is able to address this issue. The patch is named c06c2e5116c306e4e1bc79779f0eda2d1182f655. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-217615. |
| In Node.js, the `ReadFileUtf8` internal binding leaks memory due to a corrupted pointer in `uv_fs_s.file`: a UTF-16 path buffer is allocated but subsequently overwritten when the file descriptor is set. This results in an unrecoverable memory leak on every call. Repeated use can cause unbounded memory growth, leading to a denial of service.
Impact:
* This vulnerability affects APIs relying on `ReadFileUtf8` on Node.js release lines: v20 and v22. |
| In Keylime before 6.3.0, quote responses from the agent can contain possibly untrusted ZIP data which can lead to zip bombs. |
| Multer is a node.js middleware for handling `multipart/form-data`. Versions prior to 2.0.0 are vulnerable to a resource exhaustion and memory leak issue due to improper stream handling. When the HTTP request stream emits an error, the internal `busboy` stream is not closed, violating Node.js stream safety guidance. This leads to unclosed streams accumulating over time, consuming memory and file descriptors. Under sustained or repeated failure conditions, this can result in denial of service, requiring manual server restarts to recover. All users of Multer handling file uploads are potentially impacted. Users should upgrade to 2.0.0 to receive a patch. No known workarounds are available. |
| SWFTools commit 772e55a2 was discovered to contain a memory leak via /lib/mem.c. |
| Protocol handlers `ms-cxh` and `ms-cxh-full` could have been leveraged to trigger a denial of service.
*Note: This attack only affects Windows. Other operating systems are not affected.* This vulnerability affects Firefox < 113, Firefox ESR < 102.11, and Thunderbird < 102.11. |
| A type checking bug would have led to invalid code being compiled. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 113, Firefox ESR < 102.11, and Thunderbird < 102.11. |
| Knot Resolver before 5.5.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) because of algorithmic complexity. During an attack, an authoritative server must return large NS sets or address sets. |
| XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is a vulnerability which may allow a remote attacker to occupy a thread that consumes maximum CPU time and will never return. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.16. |
