| XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is a vulnerability which may allow a remote attacker to occupy a thread that consumes maximum CPU time and will never return. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.16. |
| XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is vulnerability which may allow a remote attacker to allocate 100% CPU time on the target system depending on CPU type or parallel execution of such a payload resulting in a denial of service only by manipulating the processed input stream. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: lpfc: Fix possible memory leak in lpfc_rcv_padisc()
The call to lpfc_sli4_resume_rpi() in lpfc_rcv_padisc() may return an
unsuccessful status. In such cases, the elsiocb is not issued, the
completion is not called, and thus the elsiocb resource is leaked.
Check return value after calling lpfc_sli4_resume_rpi() and conditionally
release the elsiocb resource. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: fix memory leak when using debugfs_lookup()
When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it,
otherwise the memory will leak over time. Fix this up by properly
calling dput(). |
