Authenticated users with workflow creation permissions can inject malicious scripts or redirect parameters to perform stored XSS attacks or phishing redirects against end users. |

Prior to 2026.6.0, 2026.5.1, 2026.4.2, and 2026.1.5, a topic "featured link" was not sufficiently normalized and escaped before being rendered in the topic list, allowing a user who can set a featured link to inject JavaScript when default Content Security Policy protections were modified or disabled. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.6.0, 2026.5.1, 2026.4.2, and 2026.1.5. |
| The Hostel plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wphostel-book' shortcode in all versions up to and including 1.1.7. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes. Specifically, the second shortcode attribute (used as button text) is passed to the `$text` variable without sanitization at line 79 and then output directly into an HTML `value` attribute at line 91 without `esc_attr()` or any other escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |

Prior to 3.7.1, SiYuan renders note and package content to HTML through the Lute engine with sanitization enabled, but Lute's dangerous javascript scheme block does not check form action or SVG xlink:href attributes, allowing stored cross-site scripting in document export-preview and Bazaar package README render paths that can execute OS commands in the Electron desktop renderer. This issue is fixed in versions 3.7.1. |

| The Plus Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress was vulnerable to Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Button widget's `custom_attributes` setting in versions up to and including 6.4.11. The `render` function in `modules/widgets/tp_button.php` passed the raw `custom_attributes` string through `tp_senitize_js_input()`. This filter is bypassable. The issue is patched in version 6.4.12. |
| The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.3 fails to sanitize SVG files uploaded through the POST /api/v1/media endpoint. The HandlesMediaUploads::processUploadedFile() method validates only the file extension and never invokes Security::sanitizeSVG(), so an authenticated attacker with the api.media.write permission can upload an SVG containing arbitrary JavaScript. The file is stored unmodified and served with Content-Type: image/svg+xml; when an administrator opens it in a browser (directly or via <object>/<iframe>), the embedded script executes in their session context, enabling cookie theft and session hijacking. |
| Cotonti Siena 0.9.26 and earlier contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users with PFS access to inject arbitrary script payloads by supplying malicious HTML in the ntitle parameter processed through the TXT filter in pfs.main.php. Attackers can create a folder with a crafted title containing script tags that are stored unescaped in the database and execute in the browser of any user who views the folder listing, including administrators. |
| The Animation Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'weather_style' and 'move_direction' parameters of the Weather widget in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.3. This is due to insufficient output escaping in the Weather widget's render() function at widgets/weather.php:1246, where both settings values are placed into an HTML class attribute without esc_attr(). Elementor does not server-side validate widget SELECT control values against allowed options on save, so an authenticated attacker with Contributor-level access or above can submit a crafted save_builder AJAX request storing arbitrary values in the _elementor_data post meta. The stored payload renders unescaped on every frontend visit to the affected page (the Weather widget requires an OpenWeatherMap API key to reach the vulnerable output, which is the normal operational state for sites using this widget). |
