| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: usbtouchscreen - clamp NEXIO data_len/x_len to URB buffer size
nexio_read_data() pulls data_len and x_len from a packed __be16 header
in the device's interrupt packet and then walks packet->data[0..x_len)
and packet->data[x_len..data_len) comparing each byte against a
threshold.
Both fields are 16-bit on the wire (max 65535). The existing
adjustments shave at most 0x100 / 0x80 off, so the loop bound can still
reach roughly 0xfeff. The URB transfer buffer for NEXIO is rept_size
(1024) bytes from usb_alloc_coherent(), with the first 7 occupied by the
packed header — so packet->data[] has 1017 valid bytes. read_data()
callbacks are not given urb->actual_length, and nothing else bounds the
walk.
A device that lies about its length can get a ~64 KiB out-of-bounds read
past the coherent DMA allocation. The first index whose byte exceeds
NEXIO_THRESHOLD lands in begin_x / begin_y and from there into the
reported touch coordinates, so adjacent kernel memory contents leak to
userspace as ABS_X / ABS_Y events. Far enough out, the read can also
hit an unmapped page and fault.
Fix this all by clamping data_len to the buffer's data[] capacity and
x_len to data_len. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-pci: fix dma mapping leak on data setup error
We're leaking the initial DMA mapping during iteration if we fail to
allocate the tracking descriptor for both PRP and SGL. Unmap the
iterator directly; we can't use the existing unmap helper because it
depends on the tracking descriptor being successfully allocated, so a
new one for an in-use iterator is provided.
The mappings were also leaking when the driver detects an invalid
bio_vec when mapping PRPs, so fix that too. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Avoid NULL return from hist_field_name() on truncation
hist_field_name() returns "" everywhere except the fully-qualified
VAR_REF/EXPR case, where snprintf() truncation returns NULL early
and bypasses the bottom NULL->"" guard. Callers don't expect NULL:
strcat(expr, hist_field_name(field, 0)) at trace_events_hist.c:1758
and the strcmp() in the sort-key match loop at :4804 both deref it.
system and event_name are bounded by MAX_EVENT_NAME_LEN, but the
field name on a VAR_REF is kstrdup'd from a histogram variable
name parsed out of the trigger string and has no length cap, so
a long enough var name in a fully qualified reference can reach
the truncation path.
Keep the length check but leave field_name as "" on overflow. |
| PraisonAI Platform is the platform layer for the PraisonAI multi-agent teams system. Prior to version 0.1.4, the Platform server exposes resources under `/api/v1/workspaces/{workspace_id}/...` and protects them with a `require_workspace_member(workspace_id)` FastAPI dependency. The dependency only checks that the caller is a member of the workspace_id in the URL prefix. The route handlers then look up the inner resource (`agent_id`, `issue_id`, `project_id`, `label_id`, `comment_id`, `dependency_id`) by primary key alone. The resource's own `workspace_id` is never compared to the URL's `workspace_id`. A user can therefore put their own workspace in the URL prefix and any other workspace's resource ID in the path. The auth check passes, since they really are a member of the prefix workspace. The service then returns the cross-tenant resource for read, update, or delete. There is a second bug in the member-management routes (`add_member`, `update_member_role`, `remove_member`, `update_workspace`, `delete_workspace`). Each one inherits the default `min_role="member"` from `require_workspace_member`. Any basic member can therefore promote themselves to admin or owner, demote or remove other members, and delete the workspace. The role hierarchy exists in the schema but is not enforced. Registration is open at `/api/v1/auth/register` with no email verification. The default server bind is `0.0.0.0:8000` (`python -m praisonai_platform`). One curl from any unauthenticated network position is enough to bootstrap into the system. PraisonAI Platform version 0.1.4 patches the issue. |
| When verifying a mac with a ChunkedMacVerification object, Tink compares the resulting tag with non constant time comparison. This potentially allows an attacker to use timinig information as a side channel in order to get information how many bytes of a given tag match the correct tag. This in turn could allow to find a correct tag bytewise. |
| A SQL injection (CWE-89) and security boundary bypass (CWE-863) vulnerability exists in the prebuilt BigQuery forecasting tool (bigquery-forecast) of googleapis/mcp-toolbox.
The tool accepts client-controlled parameters (data_col, timestamp_col, and id_cols) as plain strings and interpolates them unescaped via fmt.Sprintf directly into a generated AI.FORECAST table-valued SELECT statement. While MCP Toolbox utilizes an allowedDatasets mechanism to restrict queries, this defense only validates the history_data parameter; the final assembled query is executed without re-validation.
An attacker can break out of the string literal fields (such as timestamp_col) to inject a valid multi-statement or cross-dataset query block. This allows an unauthorized user to bypass the operator-configured allowedDatasets boundary and read arbitrary BigQuery tables. |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to version 4.6.40 of PraisonAI, corresponding to version 1.6.40 of praisonaiagents, `execute_code()` in `praisonaiagents/tools/python_tools.py` (v1.6.37, subprocess sandbox mode) can be fully bypassed using `print.__self__` to retrieve the real Python `builtins` module, from which `__import__` can be extracted via `vars()` and runtime string construction. This achieves arbitrary OS command execution on the host, completely defeating the sandbox. This is a novel bypass that survives all patches for CVE-2026-39888 (frame traversal), CVE-2026-34938 (str subclass), and CVE-2026-40158 (`type.__getattribute__` trampoline). PraisonAI version 4.6.40 and praisonaiagents version 1.6.40 contain an updated fix. |
| In Eclipse hawkBit versions 1.0.3 and prior, a privilege escalation vulnerability (CWE-284 / CWE-862) has been identified in the Direct Device Integration (DDI) Controller.
This vulnerability allows an authenticated device to escalate its permissions and bypass the strict boundaries of its assigned updates. Under normal operation, a device should be restricted strictly to the specific firmware artifacts explicitly assigned to it. However, this flaw enables any authenticated device to bypass this restriction and download any firmware artifact within the same tenant.
This is not an authentication bypass; the requesting device must possess valid credentials for its respective tenant. Instead, the issue stems from a flaw in object-level authorization validation.
A related, lower-severity helper issue exists in the listing software modules artifacts metadata endpoint. This endpoint does not enforce assignment checks, enabling an authenticated device to list and enumerate available firmware artifacts, which can facilitate targeted exfiltration using the main download authorization bypass. |
| NextCRM is open-source customer relationship management (CRM) software. Versions prior to 0.12.0 have a Broken Object Level Authorization (BOLA/IDOR) vulnerability exists in the CRM contact and target update endpoints. The application fails to verify if the authenticated user has ownership of the specific resource being modified. This allows any authenticated user (even with a standard `member` role) to arbitrarily modify sensitive CRM contacts and targets belonging to other users or organizations (cross-tenant data tampering). Version 0.12.0 fixes the issue. |
| Heap buffer overflow in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
